I’m not sure I can watch another high school setting. I know NLMG is technically one, but it doesn’t feel like one since they’re on the run for much of it. I’m trying to watch My School
President and haven’t loved it so far though the music is cute.

Ok I’ve seen 2/16 and 2/17 as the start date. MDL has 2/17, so I’m going with that.

So looking forward to this show. I loved Kosuke as Katori in T&A. He did so much with that part. I cannot wait to see what he does with a lead role.

Who was he in Zettai BL? I love that show but don’t remember him. Was he one of the brother’s friends? I am so excited to see this one. I loved Kosuke in T&A and he got more good looking with every rewatch.

OMG! Suzuki Kosuki who plays Katori has his own BL coming out 2/16. It’s called Jack Frost. It’s sadly not with Komiya Rio who played Tanaka, but he already had his own fantastic BL, Eternal Yesterday. If anybody hasn’t seen it, go watch it immediately. Cannot wait to see this new show.

Yep, though there are other BL couples who don’t have great chemistry that keep getting shows…. Ohm & Fluke come to mind even though I loved them in UWMA. I think the story was so good and it played to their strengths. Their latest 2 shows were complete misses for me. Maybe Perth & Chimon will pull it off. I really liked Chimon in Dear Loser. Maybe he’s just better playing an unrequited love story.

I know! I had to check the cast list to be sure. He was already skinny in T&A, so he looked skeletal in EY. I wonder why.

Ooh intriguing! Something to look forward to.

I’m so interested to see how Earth & Mix do with a more “adult” story, or at least that’s how they’re advertising it. I hope they can pull it off.

Totally agree about Ben and Chopper. I don’t see chemistry and honestly have never gotten the appeal of Perth. He was an odd choice for LBC in my opinion. He’s fine, but nothing than that for me.

I don’t care that the story really isn’t very coherent or compelling. I’m here for P&P and they are delivering consistently! Their scenes are great and their chemistry is fire. I could look at the two of them all day. My only complaint is that the camera doesn’t linger long enough on Pond, lol. Like way longer please. Also, bad choice of music for their bed scene. Otherwise, still loving it.

I agree the acting in OFC and CM was particularly good and the casting was great. Same with EY. But this show seems like it is pushing the envelope for a JBL, and that may be why this cast is somewhat lacking. I do think Seto is really good for this part though. And the EY cast was also young and did a fantastic job. So maybe it’s just depends on the cast and show.

It’s crazy how the subtitles can change the meaning of a show.

I watched it on Viki too and the subs are way better than on Gagaoolala.

All I know is Lee Jung Min, whom I’m assuming is playing the Fighter role, is unbelievably handsome and built. Bring it on.

I’m going to join all the other people encouraging you to watch his BL, Eternal Yesterday if you haven’t seen it already. It’s the only show I have rated a 10. Yes it’s sad, but you’ll be prepared for it from the beginning and it is so beautifully acted! There is not a false note. Both actors are so good in it, but you’ll be amazed at how different Komiya Rio is in this show from his character in T&A. I hope you’ll take a chance.

So I think Komiya Rio lost a lot of weight for this or another role. I just rewatched him in Takara to Amagi and his face definitely had more weight. He wasn’t heavy by any stretch of the imagination to begin with, but his face was so much thinner for EY, that it was startling. I almost didn’t recognize him in this show.
