The heck was that ending? So many questions left unanswered but it was funny at least 😶
The FL was the real Princess. This is explained in the carriage with her maid. So she went to the Prince's Residence to look for the other half of the treasure map. She then parlayed it to be able to switch places with the fake Princess and marry the ML.
Blame it on the writing style of the author. Some comments about the author's books and this novel; This girl's books also have a distinct style. The male characters are not likable. The heroines are all beautiful girls next door. There is no big pattern. The plot setting is very special. Wu Fu and Yan Zhi Zui are all like this. Therefore, her books rely on the plot to attract readers rather than characters or emotions. It is difficult to finish reading them in one go. This book is also the same. The identity of the heroine is very special. A prostitute turns good and goes to the county government to solve a case. There are two male protagonists, one is a traditional scholar, and the other is a dandy. One does not have the deep affection that the male protagonist of a romance novel should have to give everything for love, and the other is too serious and does not have the skills of a domineering president. It is not a ridiculous and bloody article, but it should be...
The only work worth reading by this author. (The others are all scumbags and bitches that are unbearable to watch) The heroine is born in the dusty world, but she is really kind and elegant. The hero is a rare playboy, but he is really passionate and will never let her down, and he is sincere and loyal. The male supporting role is great and righteous. It is natural for him to sacrifice the person he loves and ask his lover to give in, which is disgusting.
An atypical romance novel, without the usual routines, with smooth logic and thought-provoking.
This is the first time I have seen a male protagonist who loves to watch "Golden Plum". At the end, he did not have a routine ending of being reborn and successful. This is good. The officialdom is corrupt, so it is better to be a happy ordinary couple. The male protagonist's lively personality is just right for the calm and stubborn female protagonist with a rough life. Life needs a sense of humor! The second male protagonist just asks the female protagonist to compromise and give in. The male protagonist seems unreliable but he respects the female protagonist and is willing to sacrifice for her. The male protagonist is in trouble, and the female protagonist never leaves. The two support each other. This kind of love is just right. In the end, everyone got what they wanted most, including the second male protagonist, who also got the power and status they wanted. It is fair to get some and lose some, as long as you know what you want most. Some people say that the female protagonist's persistence is very hypocritical. If a person has no dreams, what is the difference between him and a salted fish? There are many women in this world who compromise with men. Women who live for themselves and have their own persistence and beliefs are worthy of respect! I like this quaint story, like this girl, like this boy, and like the author, hehe~
Ep. 5 Is it foreshadowing that the serial killing of the pairs will descend on the main couple? She will be kidnapped and imprisoned with the intention to kill her with Shen Du?
This was surprisingly good! It maintained the suspense and I like the pacing of the story. I would have rated…
Probably start with saving the first victims and maybe nipping the Father in the bud. But the early time may imply a second chance with helping her parents and his brother. But as it played out the first time, there was growth in the characters. Not sure that it would be worth losing that. Perhaps a stronger connection with the ML's Mother. Have her stay in town and help raise the ML?
I have a question, is the student teacher an actual communist, or is she one of the protestor college students?…
Student protesters would be tarred by being labeled leftist and communists. She was the girlfriend of the brother. It would lessen the impact of the torture of the younger brother if she had any communist affiliation. Taking the Kwang-ju protests as an example, the protest were framed by the Ruling Military Regime as a communist disturbance. In the US that label was used against anti-war and organized labor demonstrations.
It was fine until ep. 18 and when Xiaoyun saw Xu Tian it became gripping. The ML Xu Xian here and Xu Tian in the subtitles is not so much autistic but suffers from loss. Some say PTSD. This drama is about love and loss and connections. Take a peek at ep. 18 and it might help you decide. I'm re-watching it and there is a reason why I post comments here after finishing it. Thank you.
Have you tried Fresh Drama on YouTube? It's free there.
Youtube has a number of videos but the order is often mixed They are about an hour or more in length. Type in Qingchuan's Veil of Vengeance or 2025 Kung Fu Legend. Beware the titles are often misleading.
Lighting the candles of the birthday cake. The small gestures that move and support an insecure heart. Sweet and warming. May years ago almost in another lifetime. My friend asked what I liked about my wife. I said, '...because she likes me."
I'm at the penultimate episode. So far, best friends strengthen their bond. The Uncle and Auntie that are meant to be find their place together. Xu Tian and Diandian seems to be heading for a future together. Just the last episode to fret over. Am enjoying this very much.
He is reborn and their love and life can share the same road. If not, he would face endless cycles of watching her wither and die. He can share growing old together. The draught of life, even if bitter near the end, is still sweet.
Diandian’s selective amnesia seemed to be targeting Xu Tian as she only forgot him. Before she had the latest bout of amnesia, she threw her meds in the drain. And her Mother said the amnesia was to save her from something that brings her pain. Could she induce amnesia? That's why she threw away the meds? Or is she faking or in part faking forgetting XU Tian, who dares to pay attention to another woman?
