Not bad - definitely worth the watch. But, man, did I want to slap the FL character silly through most of this.…
Good points but I think that you are too harsh on Li Shiqing. In ep. 9, when they are running in Guangwu New Village and Detective Xiao Jiang is looking at the unemployed man Jiao Xiangrong's storage space, at 11:08, in the background, you can see that she is leading the ML up the stairs. And through the washing the blood, while Xiao Heyun was in shock and consumed with guilt. she kept her head by scanning for police and telling him it wasn't his fault. That the bomber intended to die once she brought the bomb on the bus and then pulls him away to seek better shelter. There is a reason why Li Shiqing first entered the loop alone and why Xiao Heyun became sick at the final loop. This is her story and she shows the greatest growth. She is also the moral compass and she starts to think about the fate of the other doomed passengers first She is more like the average person and her decisions and reactions reflect this. She also steps up to the plate and doesn't abandon Xiao Heyun in the truck. Through thick and thin, through weal and woe. She is a keeper.
Ep. 10 at the beach from 9:47. They end up together at the end. And ep. 15 at 40:28. the subs say, "This screen shot looks like a marriage certificate in China as both leads (are) wearing white and having a red background behind them."
the main one that i still have the biggest question about is why heyun's health deteriorated as the loops happened
This is really Li Shiqing's story. We are shown her growth from a shy student to someone being able to coordinate and get the passengers to stop the bomber and bus driver. Xiao Heyun doesn't grow as much. She is also the moral compass of the drama. She is first to consider the fate of the other passengers and gets Xiao Heyun to ably help her. She entered the loop first by herself. Not both. So it can be explained that conditions were different for the two of them. My two cents worth.
On a rewatch. Love this drama! However, one episode that still confuses me is the episode where Xiao Heyun gets…
The important part of that 3 episode arc (8,9,10) is that we are given more time for Xiao Heyun and Li Shiqing to get closer. Also that the area that they initially run to is near the garage where the bomb components were assembled, and the accident occurred. And the part at his friend's apartment show that he admits he was wrong for insisting that the violence in his game be kept. But most importantly, we see is that Xiao Heyun telling Li Siqing that the memory of killing someone, even to save her, will stay with him forever. That is a shared moment that is important. And had they waited for the police to catch them and wait for sleep, there would not be any new information given. Just a repeat of the second episode. Once they decide to save the passengers, going to the police has a new purpose.
Hope you don't mind; Destiny of Love is definitely worth watching! I'm really enjoying the series. The actors are great and the chemistry between the main characters is excellent, which makes all the difference. It's a super fun comedy and a romance that's already got me hooked! I felt a huge interest right from the start!
É inacreditável como o hate persegue o Darren Chen até internacionalmente. O novo drama Destiny of Love mal…
Hope that you don't mind. I'm interested in your thoughts. And more might also. It's unbelievable how much hate Darren Chen gets internationally. The new drama Destiny of Love has barely been released, it hasn't even finished, and people are already rushing to knock down its rating - without even watching it!
Honestly, I don't understand. Why is that? What's the point? If you don't like the actor, fine, no one has to like everyone. But they don't have to watch it either. Now, spreading negative reviews just out of spite, out of personal dislike, without any real basis... that's too unfair, not just to Darren, but to the whole cast, to the production, to those who worked hard to deliver this story.
Criticizing with arguments is fine. But gratuitous hate just shows a lack of respect. Let the drama happen, let's watch it first, let's form an opinion based on the content - and not on prejudices.
It's disheartening to see so much effort being attacked so lightly.
Feel Good to Die. (2018) I think that whichever version you watch first, will be the one that you love more. The Korean version focused on the business culture, family run and between labor and management. It was more realistic than this Chinese version. But this version focused more on comedy, romance and peeked a bit more into the personal lives of the characters. I've re-watched this many times, but have only re-atched the Krean version a few times. My personal choice.

PeachBlossomGoddess; Good points, but the Boya troops would make the battle more equal if not tip the battle towards the Wei forces. From certain defeat to probable victory. Well worth the risks. And standing aside just means that you will be gobbled up later.
A’Fan honey I was so with you until you said that ish to my sweet girl. Cause in another life it would've been…
Good points. but in that other life she would have been killed soon after entering Xindu. Fan seems to be like the Qiao Grandfather and his son in not willing to stick their necks out. History is full of states that hoped by being passive they'd ride out the storm. The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg declared neutrality at the start of the War in 1939, but were invaded by Germany in May 1940. Boya is kinda like Belgium with the Ardennes like the tunnel. Switzerland and Spain both of which offered no easy path to anywhere kept their neutrality. Well maybe a path to Gibralter's rear.

MDL has both ML and FL as 30 years old!!! Yikes!! Minus 4 or 5 years when it was filmed.
From Spanish to English.
Could it be because of it?
