Ep. 29. Qin Yi is the Master that tried to buy her virginity in Ep. 2. He used Luo Shu to get at her adopted mother,, Wuniang to chase her out of the house and send both to Mingke House. Madam Yu revealed that he had Luo Shu sent there to break her spirit. Mr Li runs Mingke House, but he apparently works for Qin Yi. Qin Yi apparently got control of the house some time before Madam Yu was chosen over Wuniang to run Mingke House. Mr Li chose Yu as she was more manageable. Wuniang died shortly after.

Yes, very creepy. And manipulative in one of the flashbacks, using Luo Shu to get back at Wuniang. Why? Wuniang said she should have killed him back then. Is she his birth mother?

I think concerning the poisoned sweets, Yanjin denied knowledge but I think that between Yanjin and Tengzhou it's a matter of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Also in ep. 25, at 39:50 during the argument with Menglin, Yanjin says, "She is destined not to be with us."

The dining with the three girls is ep. 24 at 40:45. Qin Yi calls the newest girl Yulan. In ep. 25. at 3;56 Qin tells bed ridden Xu Biao that the Qis ... destroyed my wife's family. I'm sure that he means Luo Shu's family. Master Qin is the guy with the young girls. The Master from ep. 2 might be Eunuch hang.

Possible, but the two came asking if there were survivors. Had they intended for her to die with her parents, she would have been killed then and there. And why the interest for so long. Serving as Jin Nang at Mengke house allowed her to become a refined lady. Grooming, I would expect. Not Qin as he couldn't buy her. And the conversation between the Master of Mengke House and the failed bidder of Jin Nang's virginity talked about a Master. Eunuch Zhang. Why the interest and why the grooming? My two centavos worth.

He called her Yulan and he called one if the little girls Yulan. And he mentioned his wife.

I think that Yanjin in white is the planner and Tengzhou in blue is the knife.

Mr Shu was a minor official of the granary at Taiyuanwei. That is a storehouse or warehouse to hold grain. Master Qin stepped out of Qin's Grain Shop to pick up the little girl. Qin seems to be behind Shu's gambling winnings, probably a bribe to look the other way as grain is removed from the warehouse. Qi Yanjin or his brother Tengzhou may be behind starting the fire to kill the parents and allow them to snatch the orphan Luo Shu. Eunuch Zhang seems behind this. Luo may actually be a hidden royalty. Or destined to marry one. The Shus may not be her actual parents.

Good points. Also remember during the mine episode, it was revealed that Eunuch Zhang was looking for a women. it must certainly be Jin Nang or her because of original identity as Luo Shu. The latter name would indicate a connection with her parent's death. ep. 14 at 18:47. And can't spend money when you are dead.

My presumption as she is a main character. I hope that Han will accept being friend zoned and Liu Wan and Luo Shu become friends and allies.
My feeling is that because Eunuch Zhang had earlier had his men looking for Luo Shu in Linfen may mean that Luo Shu may be more important the revealed so far. Also Mr Qin talked about his 'wife' which probably means that he regards Luo Shu as his future but certain wife. Just my speculation.

Looks like some Han time coming up from ep. 27. 10 episodes left. Liu Wan should be around, too.

I think that fire that killed Luo's parents and made her available as an orphan was connected to the ML's family. The real business that the Family did was dirty work for hire. If the ML's Family did it, maybe Luo will be unmarried at the end.

Under the Moonlight. They usually show a full moon even if the next scene is in the day. In ep. 23, they show a waxing crescent moon, that should be followed with a new moon, i.e. fully dark. Foreshadowing a dark period in her life?
