This was your first K-drama, but, hopefully not the last. What other K-dramas have you watched and can recommend?
Good decision to save Navillera to watch with your parents. I just literally finished watching it yesterday and now I'm totally in love with Song Kang. Life is now divided into two parts. Before Song Kang and after Song Kang. Hahaha. But, you hit the nail on the head about secondary characters, and that is so true about CLOY and Reply 1988. They both have such an immensely strong supporting cast. Its probably what separates a good drama from a masterpiece - the supporting cast.

No, I have not watched The Heirs. In fact I have not watched Pinocchio or Heartless City either. I will add them to my list. I just finished watching Camellia and I loved it. What a perfect blend of genres - Romance, Comedy, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller and a serial killer on the loose. Must watch. Also, just finished watching Navillera which was one of the three K-dramas that brought out the tears in me - the other two being CLOY and Reply 1988.

That is a tough question for me. LOL. So, I am very much on the fence about Boys Over Flowers. I watched it because you know it was pegged as a "classic". Sort of the one that started it all. I read about how it was a huge ratings success and the cast became an overnight sensation and shot to instant stardom. How the drama is widely credited to have influenced South Korean men to take their appearances more seriously to copy the metrosexual or "pretty boy" image. So I know for a fact that I would've definitely regretted not watching it, so I felt like I had to watch it and so I did. Is it the best K-drama ever made? Definitely not. But there are things that I loved about it. I loved the actors, especially the guys that comprise the F4, specifically the two male leads Kim Hyun Joong and Lee Min Ho. I loved the OST. So yeah, not bad but definitely not the best out there.
Does anyone on here also watch K-dramas? I love K-dramas, can't get enough of them. Was wondering if anyone could recommend any good BL K-dramas to watch?

This was your first K-drama, but, hopefully not the last. What other K-dramas have you watched and can recommend?
Okay, thank you. We share something in common as in CLOY was also my first K-drama. I'm so glad I watched it and it opened up the wonderful world of K-dramas for me. I have watched so many since then to name a few - The Reply series, Navillera, Move to Heaven, Something in the Rain, Itaewon Class, Beyond Evil, When The Camellia Blooms, One Spring Night, Boys Over Flowers. So many more to go ... can't wait.
So I actually did not understand the story. Perhaps it was too fast paced for me. Could someone break it down for me, and what exactly is the twist. Feel free to be as specific and as detailed as you like and can be.
This drama will forever hold a special place for me, not because it is the best k-drama ever made, but because it is the first K-drama that I ever watched and it opened that world of K-dramas for me and I am never looking back.
