I find the female lead character and the actress portraying are beyond annoying.

Watching this video broke my heart. It talks about Immortality not passing censorship, several deleted scenes and this one takes the cake - the two leads are father and son. Not sure if this is true or just rumors, but this is beyond sad the relentless attack and harm that censorship is causing on freedom of expression. Shame on the Chinese authorities.

Totally agree with you. MTH has received universal acclaim in every review I have read, not just on MDL. It does not seem appropriate to put MTH in the underrated bucket.

"Move to Heaven" is underrated? Every review I have read has given this drama an extremely high rating and high praises. Even MDL has an extremely high rating for this drama. I think it is disingenuous to categorize Move to Heaven in the underrated drama bucket given the universal acclaim that it has received from every notable reviewer out there.

Yes, but, the real question is - Do you? Doesn't seem like it.

There is a lot of hinting, suggestions, homoerotic subtext, clever twists, slow burning tension, innuendos, poetry, bone-throwing that is going, but there is absolutely no depiction of same-sex romance. I have always felt that technically that classifies as Queerbaiting and not exactly BL, but everytime I have expressed my opinion on that I have been savagely and viciously attacked. The original novel is very much a BL novel, but this drama adaptation in my mind is not BL, but it is queerbaiting, because the same-sex "romance" is only suggested and hinted at and purely on the viewers interpretation.
