So I might be saying something controversial here, but that is okay, it is just my opinion and not meant to offend…
You obviously are someone who cannot tolerate differing opinions, so god forbid someone has an opinion about the drama that is different from yours, you have to bully and abuse your way to making your point. Just itching to pick a fight and just can't help yourself now can you. Seriously quit being a loser and get a life, will you please?
I'm currently watching this drama and so far so good. Can you recommend more Korean dramas? I have watched Crash Landing on You, The Reply Trilogy, Something in the Rain, One Spring Night.
I do have to warn you that you do risk sounding homophobic when you make statements like - "I'm not a fan of BL…
Because there are a lot of aspects to a drama and it is a very broad, sweeping statement to make when you reject a drama solely based on same-sex romance and if that is your only criteria to reject it then that has a homophobic ring to it.

When someone attacks me, I attack back. I don't turn the other cheek and take BS from people like you. If you want to express your opinion that's good. Don't falsely attack and accuse others of complaining. And just for the record since you don't know me, no, I'm not a victim. I'm a survivor.

I was merely expressing my opinion because in my mind it does meet the textbook definition of Queerbaiting. I understand people disagree with that opinion and that is fine. I would even call it healthy. But for you to willfully twist my post and characterize that I am "complaining" is quite shameful. My post was not meant to be a complaint. In fact quite the opposite because I totally understand why they did what they did because of censorship rules and I even acknowledged that. I understand their motives for Queerbaiting, but it doesn't change the fact that it is what it is. So I was just stating that as a matter of fact, not a complain. I love this show and crazy about it.
I don't understand how we got like this. People getting persecuted for expressing their opinions. I got called small-minded, someone who is attacking the crew and the cast, someone who is from the west and does anything I want, complaining, etc. I really thought this forum was a safe space for respectful debates and opinions without resorting to hateful attacks and name-calling. Thank you for opening my eyes and proving me wrong.
Generally the first version I watch is always the "best". But I guess if censorship changes dramatically in China…
Agreed. Definitely no GOT style red wedding. I just thought it was completely unnecessary for the advancement of the story and just did not fit in. But that is just my opinion.
I’m all for it if it improves the story or gives a different take on a story. I’m just not looking for pretty…
Oh I think there is definite room for improvement. WOH is supposed to be a Wuxia drama, but you expect a Wuxia drama to have great fighting scenes and that is one area that WOH falls remarkably short. Don't get me wrong, I love WOH and I'm crazy about it, but it just doesn't have those great fight scenes which is a necessary hallmark for a great Wuxia show. So yeah, as good as WOH is there is definitely room for improvement.
Over the years there have been countless C-drama adaptations of Jin Yong's novels. The Condor Trilogy (The Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Return of the Condor Heroes, The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber), Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, The Smiling Proud Wanderer, etc to name a few. I hope that there are more remakes and adaptations of Word Of Honor and The Untamed in the future. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part. Does anyone feel strongly one way or the other if there should be future remakes of some of these BL novels and what is the likelihood of that happening?
