Bryce in Manila is an arrogant d*ckhead! Josh turned out to be just as big a d*ckhead! I agree with the other posters that is wasn't cool the way Bryce and Josh treated him. Considering, before they became "hot" models, they weren't much different.

Ok, yes, Bart was dumb to show up in Manila unexpectedly. In the scenes before he left home I was hoping that…
I'm right there with you. I, too think that Bryce and Josh are dickheads. But, all of the flashback scenes suggest that Bryce and Bart were similar to Bart (they just happened to make their dreams come true). I think you're right about Bart becoming a famous model and turning into either a Bryce or Josh. Also, until they showed the present Josh, I kind of felt sorry for him. He's been carrying around this hidden love for Bryce for so long, and Bryce doesn't have a clue. So, you have the proverbial "love isosceles triangle." If you are familiar with an isosceles triangle, you have two equals sides converging on a single point -- Bart and Josh both love Bryce. And, we don't know yet who Bart loves or will love.

This is just my two cents. LMBO!

In this series is Tul the top and Max the bottom?
Max "never" plays bottom. He's "inferred" often that he wouldn't play a bottom.

I just re-watched this series, and I have to say it touched me just as much as it did the first time around. Yes, at times the series would drain you emotionally. But, that was, IMO, part of the journey. I luv'd how they showed the dramatic/traumatic ending scene at the beginning of the series, and THEN told you the story of how all of it happened. Definitely a first for a BL.

I'm right there with ya! I actually shed a tear at the end, and I NEVER shed a tear over these BLs!

Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't scroll down far enough to see your post when My Day was airing. But, I just have to say your comments are pretty insightful, thorough (in terms of cinema-graphic and artistic excellence), an interesting. I enjoy reading them. Although I'm not sure I always agree with your comments, I am quite sure that the comments are very well done. BTW, I do agree with your comments on this ep.

I agree. She is a good strong character. I also agree that they could cut down on the eating, as to not play into the stereotype I was mentioning.

Wow! Now this is a "BL drama." Everything in this series just screams "drama." Everyone is sleeping with everyone, including friends. No one is actually "friend zoned" as the title would suggest. These are some most sneaky, weird, backstabbing, unconcerned group of "friends" anyone would want to meet. AND WOW! It's entertaining! LMAO! I can't wait to see how it all ends and whether (as many of you have noted) there will be a season 3. That whole mess with Stud, Earth, and Dr. Sam is true "drama". HaHaHa And, I luv every minute of it.

I agree with most of the posts. The plot-line is slowly developing, but at an amazingly slow pace, given the lengths of the episode. Unlike many of you, I'm not sure I'm cool with the way they utilizing Brendalynne. I get the impression that her character is a little stereotyped and tropish (i.e., the "overweight," "plain looking" bff who does nothing but eat all day and give advice). Yes! She's no where near as attractive and "all" the male leads in this series. Hmmm! Seems like we've seen this plot before.

Agreed. Knowing what was said and meant in ep 4 makes a difference in the rest of the series, IMO. It was the "morning after!" That's why I say hmmmm!

Thanks for the info. I guess we'll have to take their word on it. It just seems strange. They had time to shoot the following 2 eps, but didn't have time to add subs to 1 ep. Hmmmm!

I'm still trying to figure out why ep. 4 was the only one without subs???? That ep. was kind of the "day after" to what happened at the end of ep 3. Was not having subs intentional? I just find it very curious..... lmao

Agreed. I, too will watch until the final ep. However, I still hope for at least a better or more palatable resolution to the actions of ep. 3, other than how it was portrayed. But, I will wait to see. lmao!

I just finished binge watching up to ep. 6. I totally agree with all of your previous posts and comments. It appears that this series "did not" learn from the mistakes made in some Thai BL series. It took the Thais a little bit of time to improve their BL series to include better dialogue, better script writing, better visuals, better timing, and non-stereotyped and non-stigmatized attitudes, comments, and portrayals of the LGBTQ+ community. I also agree that everyone can hope that the remaining eps. show some improvement in the quality of the series. However, for me personally, the actions at the end of ep. 3, completely turned me off! Those kinds of scenes remain unacceptable to me, unless it is at least treated for what it was, "wrong and illegal!" And, it sends the wrong message about relationships.
