I still love Tin/Can. They're the only thing keeping me going with this series... story is all over the place,…
Again, I agree with you about Tin/Can -- I, too still luv them. I also agree about the Ae/Pond dynamic. I never really thought about like that. But, Ae does treat him like crap, especially since it was Pond helping Pete to truly understand Ae (at least he did in LBC1). And, yes, the storyline is ALL over the place, with bits and pieces of the various storylines from the novel thrown in together.
Obviously, with only 2 eps to go, that's barely enough screen time to finish up the Tin/Can storyline. Which means the other storylines (couples) won't get a proper burial. Ooops, I meant resolution! LMAO!!
Well, since Season 2 has already been announced, I guess this season is more than likely end in a "cliff hanger." That way the fans will have to wait until next year to get some resolution on this relationship. Which also means that more than likely the start of the next season will center around a) Sky's and Ace's break-up with the "I just can't deal with it drama" storyline; b) either Sky or Ace (or both) finding another boyfriend/girlfriend leading to the "we can't have a BL without the jealousy storyline"; c) leading into the finale of the "the parents finally understand me, and the inevitable reunion of Sky and Ace AFTER 8/9 episodes of pure melodrama. LMAO! This train is getting ready to leave the station!!!! Hop aboard for the ride! LOL
Totally agree with the posts. The pacing of this series is really, really slow. It took (7) eps to tell the backstory, (1) ep to get to the present, and now only (4) eps left to complete the story.! Either a very bad script or very directing or both, I really can't tell which. But, what started out as an ok BL and now being drawn out needlessly.
Okay, Okay... Wow! What melodrama we had in this ep.! LOL But, it's still all good. Yes, this series is still campy, melodramatic at times, lacking of a good script, and has a very basic plot (two youngsters from a different side of the tracks who fall in love - opposites attract, yada, yada, yada). We get it. But, even with all that's "wrong" with the series, it's still kind of "fun" to watch, with a few "feel good moments", sprinkled in with a few "steamy" lovemaking moments. It's kind of like WHY RU and YYY all rolled up into one. LMAO! Although this is a TOTAL rollercoaster experience, I'm kind of enjoying the ride!
I doubt that the subs will be fixed before this series ends. Maybe they'll be fixed later and everyone can re-watch it. IDK If they do, I think re-watching it might be better than watching it the first time.... LoL
Since the show is called “So Much in Love”, the love stories are the most important themes to which I pay…
All good points! And you're right about the series showing some positive aspects of LGBTQ+ issues. It's just sad that the "subs" were so bad it causes distractions from the story.
only what i like is about season 2 is tincan but hate how she made the story between techno and klechna i hate…
Unfortunately, a lot of posters seem to want that to happen. I hope they don't get their wish. A relationship born out of sexual assault (rape) is sooooo wrong on many levels, even in BL. IMO, if they're going to pair them like this, at least let No get some well deserved justice and Kla get some well deserved punishment. Then, maybe there could be some forgiveness and then possibly a relationship.
Not that it justifies anything but from what I´ve read, Tul was really mistreated, like REALLY bad. He is the…
Interesting take on the novel. I kind of had similar thoughts when I read it. But, you have to take Thai translated novels with a "little grain of salt." Thai, like many of the southeast Asia cultures, doesn't easily translate the "total meaning" of what is said into English (especially Western English).
Again, I will not comment on ep. 9. Because, this ep. follows the novel fairly closely; and, I didn't particularly care for the novel. At times, the characters in the novel seemed one dimensional (I guess due to Mame's writing ability or inability, whichever it is). But, IMO, LBC1's version of Mame's novel seemed to bring the characters and storyline to life. Then we have ACTL (LBC2), which had promise. But, instead of this version capitalizing on the spark (and problems) that actually made LBC1 enjoyable, the series did a "do-over" and went in the direction of just paralleling the novel. This probably would have been just fine, IF THEY HAD DONE THAT IN SEASON 1, instead of raising our hopes! lmao
I kind of understand some of the negative posts here. The series did take way too many episodes to tell us the "back story" between Pai and Itt. Now, there's only 5 episodes left for them to resolve the story line(s). Remember, there's also Waan's and Pure's storyline as well that needs resolution (unless the producers are already planning MGYG 2)...lol
I totally agree with your point and my choice is to not watch it at all. :( Im looking forward for this but I…
Yeah, it's silly at times, definitely campy (similar to some of the campy Thai BLs), and definitely more of a BL rom-com vs a BL drama. But, it really does have its cute, humorous and feel good moments. So check it out, IF you want. IF not, that's ok too. LoL
