On My Day the Series Sep 29, 2020
My sincere apologies to the posters of this series. I used the term "train wreck" to describe this series. I previously used "train wreck" to describe another series and must've gotten the two confused. LOL! Unfortunately, they're BOTH wrecks and I should've been more aware of which wreck is which! Lmao ?? Therefore, I shall now clarify. My Day isn't a train wreck, it's more of a "ten car pile up at rush hour!"

Same. I prefer traditional yaoi where the guys are straight but fall in love with each other. It's more romantic…
I tend to agree with you.

Wow! I'm not sure I'm sophisticated enough to respond to that. So, I'll just say, hmmmm! Interesting!

Now, you seem "triggered." Did I use it right! lol

What? It's a fetish to think a love scene is hot? Some people here are really prudish. Yikes.
Well, actually I do think they can at least get some of the wreckage "back on the tracks." LoL Now, will that make it a "good" series as far as quality, tropes, stereotypes. cliches, etc.? No F***ing Way! BUT, it can still be enjoyable enough for an occasional laugh or sigh (at the tender moments), while we're in covid-19 lockdown.

In an oddball kind of way, I can see your point. I actually agree with you that one steamy love scene can't wash away 7 and 3/4 episodes of whatever it was before (I said train wreck, myself, lol). But, if the producers/director can actually pull off a BL love scene (that didn't involve rape, drunken stupor, or any of the other common tropes), then just maybe in the last 4 episodes, they can turn this series around just enough to make worth watching until the end??? IDK, IMO, the love scene was done pretty well, as far as love scenes go.

OK. I stand corrected. Lmao! This is NOT a BL "drama," but instead a BL "romantic comedy." I didn't really know there was a "big" difference. LoL

OK. This series has so many flaws, it's not even worth mentioning. However, it has been a little bit of a comedic break due to Covid-19. Like many of you, with this series, I just "went along for the ride," not really expecting too much in terms of quality. However, I'd have to say, the last scene in Ep. 8 was one of the sexiest, hottest, and romantic (if not THE sexiest, hottest, and most romantic) scenes I've ever seen in a BL drama! I mean, WOW! THAT WAS HOT!

Rimshot! Good one! lol On whether we'll forget the first four eps. as the series is put "back on track," as usual, you're probably right..

I love how everyone is like "after this episode..." Don't forget we're only half way through, we shouldn't be…
I believe most of us (including myself) would probably agree with you. But, this series has been such a train wreck, it was just a little bit refreshing to finally see an ep. that actually peaked an interest in watching. AND, with 8 eps. to go, it is possible (just possible mind you) that they could get this series "back on track" just enough to get it "into the station." (a little train wreck humor) Lmao!

For me, Can's awkwardness in kissing goes along with his character. Emotionally, Can is like a small child and…
I agree. The behavior and emotionality that Tin and Can are showing now "does" go along with the characters they are now. Somehow, it's starting to look like a "different" LBC2, and that's a good thing. Because, it will help some of us (me included) to put the "old" version of Tin/Can "back on the shelf." LMAO!

IMO, I think ep. 5 was what this wreck needed., a life preserver! Lmao!

This is a trainwreck and for those that are enjoying it, I'm glad you are. I will watch this until episode 6 and…
Up until Ep. 5, I was in total agreement with you. The series WAS a trainwreck. However, with Ep. 5, maybe (just maybe now), there might be some light at the end of this dark tunnel. I'm now intrigued to see where it goes (especially with the Tul/Hin/Tin saga).
Okay! For someone who doesn't really care for reboots, Ep. 5 was pretty darn good, with the exception of the Kla/No sick story (I skipped through it). But, as for Tin/Can, their "new" characters now seem in line with this rebooted story. I liked Tin's crying scene and how he turned to Can for comfort. We finally get to know a little more history about Tin and his older brother and the reason for their lifelong feud. I agree with BriBri123. This Ep. should have been a lot sooner in this series.

I agree with you 100%! Like you, I've been hesitant to trash talk almost any BL because... well, it's BL! It's…
Well, you're right on your points. The relationship was slow. But, I think that was because in Sotus, it was a secondary to the hazing storyline, as well as Arthit and Kong not really knowing what was happening between them. But, you're still right -- they could've moved it along at a little faster pace. Now, I'm totally with you on Sotus S, which I didn't care for at all for numerous reasons. The main one being exactly what you stated, "Arthit's don't touch me, kiss me" behavior. Especially, since by then they had supposedly been in a relationship for over 2 years. Also, we didn't get any family dynamics in Sotus S either. What! Neither told their families??? All of their friends knew. Hmmmm!

I'm sorry BLBoy. I just saw your response today. Well, IMO, Sotus had, unlike so many othe BLs, a definite main plot (the hazing system) and a side plot of the developing relationship of Arthit and Kong. Thereby, the word "S.O.T.U.S." having a dual meaning for the show. AND, with the exception of one line of dialogue, it didn't focus on any of the major stereotypes or tropes normally associated with BLs. IMO, that is what made the series great.
