You're much more charitable than I. I, too was a little bored with this "special series" first ep. But, what the hell! It's all for good fun. The only thing I still don't like is Tine's character being soooooo ...I don't know! He's even more "chickish" than in the first season. He really needs to "man up." Why can't Sarawat for once be the "wifey" and Tine by the "hubby!"

I'm in the minority with my opinion, but anyway: I love the mixed ending. Very relateable to me. Really, this…
Again, I totally agree. However, why couldn't have Xiang Hao to die instead of Yu Xi Gu? Now, that would've been a real plot twist!

I can count on one hand the number of times I've ever shed a tear over a tv show/movie. AND, ep. 17 was one of those times!!!! It drew all the tears out of me!

I totally agree! That opening scene in ep, 1 was so powerful, heartbreaking and tragic. Although it was kind of a shock that the series would start out like this, I think it made it much more intriguing! I mean, after that, I really wanted to know how the story unfolded to such a tragic end, and how it would be resolved.

I agree. But, I also think that his character is probably the ONLY character in these series that seems to act the most mature, while portraying a younger person. Hmmm!

Hmmm! Interesting! I guess I can see that. But, this series is still lacking in so much that even without the Covid-19 issues.

Agreed. But, they made it worse by providing a doppleganger in place of Yu Xi Gu. And why did it have to be Yu Xi Gu to die? Why couldn't it have been Xiang Hao instead?!

True. But, I think the problem a lot of folks had with the last ep. was that the show "killed off" Yu Xi Gu. Too many BL's end with the death of one or more of the main characters (I guess for dramatic affect). Happy endings in BL's are far less common though.

I know many folks were looking forward to this one in the series. I was too! But, I still think there's something just not right about a 3rd year university student going after a high school kid. Yeah, they're cute. But, there's something wrong with this picture.

I'm used to "not so good" plot in BL but sometimes I really think it's too much... There is many weird scenes…
Although I believe that I see your point, I would tend to agree with TianQi. Unfortunately, you may be right about nothing being normalized in the BL genre. There are a great many stereotypes, cliches, tropes, and even rape scenes. Some series have more of these "faults" than others. Many, many, many posters here have commented on these issues in the BL series -- and most of us would love to see plots about LGBTQ+ relationships portrayed much better, a little more "real", have a slight bit more sophistication, and teach better ways to be in a relationship. BL's have come a little ways. But, I'm sure we could agree that they still have a "ways to go."

As for the scene you referred to, I believe it was a scene that was sarcastically setup. I didn't believe for one moment that the character of Duen would've done that, even though the previews set it up that way. I agree with you that it probably wasn't a good episode "cliff hanger." But at least, it DIDN'T occur, and the characters "actually" talked about what DID occur; and they even talked about what would happen as a result of "rape" scene. I thought that was a pretty sophisticated conversation they had, especially in a BL series. In all of the other episodes, in which Bohn was "messing" with Duen, were immature and childish, and probably was included to get a laugh. But, there in lies the "rub." Real life relationships often involve individuals who behave in an immature and childish manner, both LGBTQ+ and heterosexual couples alike.
