I'll be the odd one out and say that I am LOVING this so far!
I do like that they changed Tin's brother. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure about the "re-do," especially Can's personality. He's lost something. If I didn't know better, their making Can be more like a poor version of "Pete". IMO.
Kenglkla doesn’t show up but in ep 2 there is an allusion to what happened at the end of S1 from Techno’s…
I think they made it much worse, IMO! Techno also said that "it felt so good!" OMG! Getting raped while you're passed out feels good! I'm sorry. That is just wrong on soooo many levels.....
even if someone beat the crap out of kengla thousand times it wont be enough for him to pay for that disgusting…
I'm right there with you!!! But, unfortunately, there will still be that group of fans (hopefully it's a very small group) who will actually think that this kind of sick stuff is romantic or just part of the BL genre. So sad!
Like everyone else, I'm ready for LBC 2. But, I'm sure unlike everyone else, I hope the production company does something to resolve the P'No/Kengkla issue is a much different manner (instead of just another idiotic, tropish, story line where the victim falls in love with his rapist). This trope has played out big time! That would just be soooooo wrong on sooooo many levels. For those that do not remember, Kengkla (his younger brother's best friend) raped P'No while he was drunk.
If the producers and director want P'No to fall in love with Kengkla and make that some kind of sick type of love. FINE! But, at least not allow Kengkla to get away with doing such a terrible thing to someone he supposedly loves. P'No, or possibly even his brother, needs to beat the crap out Kengkla. Then, he can fall in love with him , if he wants...
I'm sorry. I'm just not feeling it with this series. Tine's character is just so totally different than he was presented in the first eps of 2gether. Not that guys can't be emotional when they are in love. But, this taking on more and more "chick-like" traits (when he was presented as Mr. Chic) is too much for me. That said, the series is cute, takes my mind off other things, and I'm curious to how it will end. So, I'm going to keep watching.
I agree with you 100%! Like you, I've been hesitant to trash talk almost any BL because... well, it's BL! It's…
I totally agree with both of you. But, I also have a small bias when it comes to SOTUS. I thought, IMO, that it was so well done, that it set a bar for me with BL's -- so much so, that I, too, now look for BL's to be of like or similar quality. I know, I'm being too optimistic or pessimistic (sometimes I can't tell the difference)... LoL
Yeah: his behaviour is SO awkward!I thought they might be trying to emphasise the difference in social status?I…
So True! I agree that "IF" the social manners of Sky was to emphasize a class distinction, that's too bad. That just reinforces an old stereotype/trope that people who have little or no money can't have manners.
I can't even begin to state the flaws in this series. I'm not sure if it's the direction, the characterization (especially Tine's), the lack of any substantive plot, or my angst from they way season 1 ended. However, I do have to agree that it was nice of the director and production company to attempt to tie up some loose ends from season 1, as well as give a little more screen time to the other couples, especially Green/Dim (they're hilarious). And, the cast are all good looking. So, even if I think that this "season 2" or I guess "season 1.5" sucks, I'm still going to watch it til the end.... lmao!
