This series is actually pretty good. I can't figure out why posters on MDL give it such a low rating??? It's getting better with each ep. I just hope they (producers) don't fill these last eps with some silly misunderstanding trope or other silliness commonly found in BLs before the couple finally get together.
I'm still trying to figure out where this series is going. Possibly nowhere! LMFAO! But, at least it's "entertaining" enough to keep me wondering, "What the hell am I watching?!" LOL!
I just rewatched the first two eps. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something off about this series. Yeah, it could be the "bad" acting, the bad script, the toxicity of the "relationships" or even the mix of older and younger actors playing more adult roles. I'm not sure. But, there's something definitely off about this series and we're only into ep. 2.
You have the right to your opinion and I think I understand it. However, before we go dashing Diew, let's just…
I just rewatched ep. 10. Maybe it's the English translation, but based on what I saw, I think we may have to agree to disagree. Again, it may be cultural. 1) It may have been an accident about the diary and the photo. But those are still Diew's private items in his room. Diew doesn't owe God any explanation about anything that is his room. 2) God did not tell him about seeing the diary and photo until the situation with Pee came up. He may not have been "lying" but he was also not forthcoming. 3) Diew even asked God if he was jealous and God's response was "he doesn't care about Diew's exes but felt like an outside because he didn't know about Diew's exes. Agreed that it would've probably ease things if Diew just told God everything about Pee. Agreed, he may have left out the boyfriend part -- but he did say it was a senior he knew (which was true). That's not lying, that's leaving out info. 4) The comment about your bf asking about your ex is a valid one. As far as making sense -- what right does the bf have in even asking about the ex? What actually makes no sense is "why the bf suddenly wants to know?" Unless the bf is coming from a place of jealousy, insecurity, lack of trust or any combination. Take your pick. Finally, why does God get to decide what info Diew tells him, especially when Diew is not doing the same to God.
As you see, we both have a different perspective on the same ep. I'm not sure if we are both right, both wrong, or somewhere in between. But this has a very stimulating discussion and I hope to have more with you in the future.

Once again, agreed with most of your post. But asking the question in the first place was actually very problematic to begin with, since it appeared to be stemming from God's "apparent" jealousy of Pee, distrust of Diew and/or some form of insecurity. WHO actually was "causing" the problem, God or Diew? Actually, it was God. I also agree with the IRL in BL drama -- but does it always need to be so blatantly obvious and silly???

P.S. It also turns out the bracelet was NOT given to Diew by Pee. God had absolutely NO right to "assume" that and consequently jump to the conclusion that Diew was keeping his ex's bracelet for some reason. Again, God is supposed to the older more mature character, right?

Agreed. However, why should it all up to Diew to dig into his past and tell about his exes, when apparently the same isn't being expected or required of God? It may be a cultural thing, but relationships are supposed to be somewhat equal, right?
I was expecting too. I think we all were, it's just I was hoping not to go down this "trope lane" yet again in a BL. That's so 10 years ago.
Diew was really acting strange in episode 10. I fully understand that God needs a break. I see that there are…
You have the right to your opinion and I think I understand it. However, before we go dashing Diew, let's just analyze God's behavior in this relationship: 1) he looked in Diew's diary and didn't tell him; 2) he didn't immediately inform Diew that he had run into Dr. Pee until after he questioned him; 3) he accused Diew of still having feeling for Pee and stated he was attached to the bracelet because if was received from; and 4) he didn't tell Diew that he'd been watching him at the university. I thought God was the senior here? But he is acting like a child with all this silly jealousy bit. Also, although this is fiction, why should Diew be obligated to tell God about his past or his exes? Did God volunteer to tell Diew about his past or exes? Even in a fictional BL there should be some occasional common sense. LOL
If the series didn't throw in this overused "jealousy" trope at the last minute, this ep. could've been much better. But I guess the producers needed to follow BL "fanservice" playbook to have some spiceyness to the last few eps. Give me a break! LMFAO!
Since it's much too early for Tatoo and Hoy to exit the series, I predict that the Boss is going to capture them (or kidnap Tatoo's mom) for stealing the necklace, before they can all get away. Then, Jack and Joker will have to combine forces to save them.
This feels like a more romantic take on the story. The production is taking the legacy of the original series…
Totally agree. I just hope the series doesn't get sidetracked by the old "top/bottom" trope/stereotype issue, that often plagues BLs when they starting getting good.
