Title My Stand-In
Well, it wasn't the best ending and it certainly wasn't the worst. At least it tied up "some" of the loose ends and almost everyone had a happy ending. I'm wondering if that was how it was in the novel or was reworked for "fan effect."

Anyway, I stand by my original thought regarding this series, it was a really good series, IMO, but a "horrible" story. "Good" as defined as the actors doing a really, really good job with really, really bad material. There was so much wrong with the series that it should make anyone's eyeballs spin! LOL However, the actors pulled off really good performances, to where most of us just neglected the fact that this was a bad story.

Finally, although he apologized and was eventually forgiven, that POS Ming was the only character that really didn't lose anything (except the opportunity to have sex with old Joe's body).

Well, ep. 2 was definitely better than ep. 1. The story appears to be moving forward. I really like how Jane (Off) is taking on more "adult" roles. This shows his versatility as an actor, and it suits him well. I realize that Ryan (Gun) is simply playing the role he was given. But, it would be nice to see him in more "adult" roles (similar to when he was in Not Me).

Not to agree with the fanwars mess, which is really silly. This series really didn't have a very good start. I'm not sure what it was. Something was missing. The first ep. is a like a first impression. It sets the tone and can literally make or break the series. Hopefully, ep 2 and beyond are better.

I took this idea from someone else on a different platform. He/she said, what if Joe 1 never died? He's been in…
Did that person read the novel?

Oh, I guess everyone is team Ming, now. Well, not me. F*ck Ming! He was a no account POS, who treated both Joes like sh*t. I get that Joe loves Ming and wants to be with him. And, in Ming's sadistic way probably loves Joe (old Joe) too. But, he's still a POS!

Lakhorns by nature are melodramatic. My Stand in is intense but not melodramatic. All stories use the same tropes.
True, lakorns are melodramatic by nature. However, we'll have to agree to disagree on the rest. What you call "intense" I would call "melodramatic." Maybe it's both....

I said it earlier. I will say again. I LUV THIS SERIES! But I HATE the story! Then I realized why I disliked this story so much, it's because it's a "lakorn!" Think about it. This series plays like a lakorn, has the feel and timing of a lakorn, and it even has episodic cliffhangers like a lakorn. Hmmm! Now I get it! LMFAO!

So, why is Dee dragging his feet about getting into a relationship with Yak? His hesitation, even shying away…
Bravo! I couldn't have said it any better myself.

I'm guess I'm "happy" that old Joe is getting back with the "improved" Ming (the person he loves). But, this story SUCKS! Old Joe gets to come back to life in new Joe's body. Ming gets to show that there's good in anyone, including a narcissistic, POS a-hole like him. But, what about new Joe? He just gets to die, while another takes his body and gets to live. I'm sorry. That SUCKS!

First we had Ming being a POS a-hole. Then we had Ming and Tong being POS a-holes. Now we're just at Tong being a POS a-hole. Interesting arc of the antagonist role(s) in this series. I really, really love this series and really, really hate this story plot.

Well the title is "mixed-up" so it should be the main theme no? I think they're doing it pretty well here :D Keeping…
True. "Mix-Up" is the main theme. But, I'm not sure I would agree that the love story requires so many mix-ups (and another 7 or 8 eps, of mix-ups) to progress. But, to each his own opinion. LOL
On My Love Mix-Up! Jun 28, 2024
This series is cute and light-hearted. But were only on ep. 4 and the "mixd-up" part is being dragged on and on. I'm not sure it'll be worth another 7 or 8 eps. at this pace.

Absolutely true. But Jane should've either told the whole truth or completely kept her trap shut. This is what…
Also true. However, it seemed that when Jane was asking Thanwa for help, I presumed it was to help get Peak to face-up to being his true self. But, Thanwa took it to mean help Peak go back with Jane and honor their arranged betrothal. You didn't see it that way?

Peak better move his ass next ep. I'm getting tired of his cowardly behaviour and no, I don't accept any hate…
Absolutely true. But Jane should've either told the whole truth or completely kept her trap shut. This is what happens when you try to play the middle.
