I know I'll get hate responses. But, WTF! Yes, the story is fictional, but damn it! Why couldn't the producers at least made the "kiddo" a HS senior! The fact that a HS sophomore is serving alcoholic drinks may be a cultural thing. But, come on, a love story between a mid/late twenty-something and a HS sophomore is just a bit much! As much as I might like watching this, nope this isn't my thing. I'm dropping it. I may be back if they have a season 2, when Sea has graduated HS. LMFAO!

I get it. Many folks like the sex and the action adventure. But 4 eps. in, the plot of this series is all over the place! I think it's because we've not been given enough of the backstory.

This was a much better BL series than Daou and Offroad's previous venture. IMO, this series had good acting, balanced characters, a little humor, a little nostalgia, and a fairly decent plot. I say BRAVO!

So you accept only BL Series when the gay men are Olympic Chanpions and Nobel-Price Winners? Thi is a nice Person…
To answer your question, "no." I disagree with your opinion about hypersensitivity, as well as the complexes. However, you've the right to your opinions and unlike you I'll show you respect for yours. But, as it refers to this series in particular, most (if not all) the characters portrayed have strong personalities, except for Thi (the lgbtq+ character). Hmm, isn't that interesting. Also, btw, being strong or weak dosen't have to always mean power or physicality. It can also mean self-esteem or inner strength, self-confidence, etc. You may also want to ask yourself what complexes you may have.

Did you watch the uncut or the cut version? Because if it's the cut then I understand your thoughts but personally…
Agreed!

I'm not really sure if I saw the cut or uncut versions? Ep. 1 was about 48 minutes and ep. 2 was about 51 minutes if that helps. However, I must agree with Yim's acting being much better in this series. However, he's again playing a "boob-like/clueless" character. And maybe if the show had gotten away from some of the usual stereotypes and tropes, Yim's character might not have seemed so boob-like or clueless. However, I don't mind being wrong on this, LOL!

I'm still trying to figure out this BL. It has the usual tropes and stereotypes, some creepy cringy stuff, a little comedy, a little mystery, and some sex. Even with all of that, eps. 1 and 2 didn't make much sense to me. I think I'm going wait until ep. 7 or 8 then binge it.

More than likely it was a future look of Tonkla killing the person who killed his brother. My guess it will be…
I'm thinking the plot twist is that it's going to be someone close to Tonkla. I think this because the killing was with sooooo much rage! That kind of rage only comes from being betrayed by someone you trust. Even if Korn didn't directly kill Tonkla's brother, he may have known about it or even ordered it done. Something like that.

More than likely it was a future look of Tonkla killing the person who killed his brother. My guess it will be either Korn or someone in the family's organization.

I'm not really sure about this series??? IMO, it's trying to deal with too many mysteries at the same time for an 8-episode series. Kind of reminds me of Manner of Death, which was well done btw. But, we're only on the 2nd ep., so I guess we'll have to wait and asee.

I said in my last post that there was something off about this Ms. Wat. I said that whoever she is, is part of a plot by Suchat and his boss (man in the wheelchair). We never found out what happened after they crashed into the water. Also, it was Suchat who initially went looking for Ms. Wat. He could've found a double and told her everything she needed to know about the stone. Based on the previews of next week, it seems I may have been right.

IDK, but it seems that the Japanese BLs have seem to have lost something in these most recent series. This series is just not that good, and I think because it's drawing too much on overused stereotypes and tropes.

Hmmm! I'm not sure I agree with many of the posters regarding the "return" of Ms. Wat in the next episode. Remember, we don't know if Suchat and his boss are actually dead. And, it was Suchat who was originally looking for the "real" Ms. Wat. I have a feeling that there still part of the story unknown.

I thought the same thing, but they kind of showed his workers through out the years, I think it was the same family…
That sounds reasonable too. But I went back and watched it again, and I think I'm still missing something??? Maybe he adopted a family 100 years ago? I don't know? Thanks.

Not sure who you are referring to but I think they call him Great Grandpa more so out of respect rather than blood…
OH! Okay, that sounds reasonable. Thanks!

Has anyone read the novel, manga or story that this series is based on? I'm curious as to "how San could have great-great grandchildren, if he hasn't had any sex? Or did I miss something?
