am i the only one that's here for all three couples? Ouwen n Mark are probably my all time favorite gay couple,…
Me too. I agree.
On Love Is Science? Sep 8, 2021
I'm not sure. But, it seems that the Mark & Ou Wen storyline is becoming far more interesting and entertaining (even as a side couple) than the mains. And for this reason, I get the feeling that the producers/writers/director are purposely dragging out Mark & Ou Wen's relationship by giving us "tidbits" to keep the audience returning for the next episode... Hmmm???

All couples are better than the main hahaha I watch for Mark ad Owen but i quite like the middle aged couple too
You know what? I like them, too!

Title Paano Kaya Kung Tayo Spoiler
Okay. There are a great many technical, writing, dialogue, directing and artistic issues with this series. However, what is most frustrating to me is that this the 2nd series, in which the mains have been placed together, BUT, did not end up together. Now, there's going to be a 3rd installment of this series??? Will, the mains get together then? Who knows!!!

I understand your POV, but I think the MLs would have had better chemistry had they had the same amount of screen…
Again, I agree. Yes, Hank does have a nice smile.

P.S. Anytime the "enemies to lovers" trope is used, you're going to need a 'little" backstory, so the audience can keep up.

Good points. I totally agree. However, I still think that if they had split up the flashbacks throughout the first 3 or 4 eps, it may have helped the story along. IDK???
On Be Loved in House: I Do Aug 10, 2021
Unlike many posters, I actually kind of liked the ep. 13 special. It gave a decent backstory about the relationship of Real (Jin Yu Zhen) and Stone (Zi-Tong). Yeah, their story did seem to dwarf the story of the mains, as well as, showed better chemistry between the actors. However, it was still a different time and a different relationship. I think that ep. probably should've been a regular part of the series, either at the very beginning OR split up during parts of the first few episodes. If the series had done that, IMO, it would've allowed the audience to understand why Jin Yu Zhen was so distant and cold towards relationships (7) years later.

I'm not sure why others aren't watching. But, I can tell you why I'm not liking watching it, and maybe other agree.…
You're absolutely right. People die every day. IDK, I just think that probably the pandemic may have affected our thoughts on death and dying. P.S. Occasionally, I like dark storylines. too. As for some of the Pinoy BLs, they can be a bit much, IMO.

Can anyone explain why this series, which is far from perfect but very engaging, is receiving such a low viewership?…
I'm not sure why others aren't watching. But, I can tell you why I'm not liking watching it, and maybe other agree. Due to everything related to covid-19, the lockdown, sickness, death, etc., etc., etc. A series about a young man dealing with cancer, and the probability of his dying was probably ill-timed. AND, to have that fact brought out so early in the series (meaning that we have to watch the mains deal with this tragic circumstance throughout the rest of the series), was also probably ill-timed. Basically, I believe many of us are just tired of viewing all the death and dying. Just IMO.

so I'm guessing since they killed off Yu Xi Gu in the first part, that this isn't a continuation cause that would…
It's possible that the production company will do a "Bromance 2" routine, where Xi Gu isn't really dead or some sort of "dream" sequence. Either way, it's okay with me.
On We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Jul 29, 2021
Many posters commented that they thought WBL2 was better than WBL1. There is NO disagreement with this. However, I just wanted to state that, IMO, WBL2 was so great BECAUSE of WBL1. The director, production crew, and actors, etc. concentrated on the relationship of the mains, with only "hints" and "flashes" about the secondary couple. The audience got the chance to really watch the progression of Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi's relationship. Then, in WBL2, we fast forward a few years, and we see all the characters as adults, and "actually" acting like typical adults. Then the story begins to fill in the missing pieces associated with the (5) year gap. Although I thought (5) years was a bit much (3 years would've made more sense), the plot was plausible. Also, we get more into the story of the secondary couple. This production company got it right about how to produce a sequel that is just as good or even better than the original. But, WBL2 wouldn't have been so good, if it were not for the fact that WBL1 was so good.
On Be Loved in House: I Do Jul 16, 2021
I don't know about any of you. But, I just luv this series. But, it also frustrates me!!! It's only 23+ minutes long (to which at least 2-3 minutes are last week's recap and next week's preview). That leaves about 17-20 minutes of an actual show. That's NOT much time to explore the plot or even delve into any nuances in the show. AND, to top it off, each show basically ends with a "quasi" cliff-hanger. I hate waiting a whole week for approximately 20 minutes of a series. IMO, these series need to be at least 30 minutes and stop ending each episode with a cliff-hanger. It's not necessary. We'll come back to see the other eps.
On My Story The Series Jul 12, 2021
I personally am not a huge fan of sequels that make significant changes in the characters or plot, without a valid explanation given to the viewing audience. The only exception, I would guess, would be a total reboot of the series, such as in 2Moons 2. Story and character changes often confuse the audience and make it difficult to follow the "new" story. Or worse yet, makes the audience choose between which "version" of the series or character they like best, such as in the case of LBC2, where the entire storied romance between Tin and Can had changed from LBC1. IMO, it would likely be best that they either "kill off" or legitimately remove the character of Ace from the storyline and have Miko move on with a newer storyline.
On Fish upon the Sky Jul 4, 2021
I've already commented on this series before, so I will not belabor the issues. This series was cute, quirky, silly, at times obnoxious, and at times entertaining. I personally hate those BLs that automatically fall into the old seme/uke trope, as if NO masculine-looking and acting male could ever be a "uke" (bottom) and NO feminine-looking and acting male could ever be a seme (top). The bottom line, each has a penis and an anus AND both may enjoy the pleasures of both. But, I digress. Back to FUTS.

I agree with many of the reviewers that the plot in this series was seriously lacking. I think there was too much emphasis on trying to combine a love story with a comedy. The comedic parts were entertaining, IMO, even if Duean's yelling and loud-mouthed behavior were a bit over-the-top. Mork's character was something else, as well. He did appear to be a stalker, and clearly had issues with boundaries and respect. Yes, he loved Pi. But, again, why? We didn't get to see why Mork like Pi. I also wished they had brought in the dynamic that Nan was helping Mork and Pi to get together earlier in the series, which would've also given Nan more lines.

The "shippers" angle is getting to be too much in the Thai BLs. Their obvious invasion of other's personal business, their willingness to blatantly hurt others for the sake of their popularity, and a total disregard for common decency are not cool. I would hope that this is merely an overused trope and not reflective of real behavior exhibited by the Thai youth.

All-in-all, IMO, this series was simply what it was, a "slice" of entertainment to allow the audience to have something to do during that time slot. However, I found it cute, so I watched it, knowing it didn't have a good plot, a good characterization, and many overused tropes. However, it does have the makings of a sequel, FUTS2. And now that the characters are established. maybe a season 2 can give us a better plot.

So, overall, I would rate this series a 7.5, possibly an 8.
