Luo Yi Ning's Mom was the first wife. Luo Shen Yuan was the son of one of the concubines. Yi Ning's Mom was framed…
In the novel, less than half way. I don't remember what chapter. The evil concubine somehow found out about Yi Ning not the real daughter. But she didn't know who the father was, just assumed a lowly man. Luo Shen Yuan had been quietly trying to find out YN's true father. Also, Lu Jia Xue also noticed that YN had a birth mark on her face that was exactly like his friend, a powerful Duke. All were brought to light when YN's father( the Duke) came to claim her.
Can someone answer:Are the FL and the ML somehow related by blood? Why are their last name both Luo, and why does…
Luo Yi Ning's Mom was the first wife. Luo Shen Yuan was the son of one of the concubines. Yi Ning's Mom was framed by the evil concubine and mistreated by her husband. During that time she was pregnant with Yi Ning by a different man. No one knew except the Grandma. On Grandma dead bed, she told Luo Shen Yuan and begged him to protect Yi Ning. Luo Shen Yuan later admitted to himself that he felt in love with Yi Ning even before knowing she was not his half sister.
Novel and adaptation can be day and night. So just need to be patient. She was re-born into a 7 years old kid, a 20 years old mind in the body of a 7 years old. So, she had to navigate her personality, couldn't be too smart a*ss, had to remember to act her age sometimes. But she became her old self when she grew older. She was smart, sharp tongue, and smashed down anyone who tried to bully her.
The synopsis is different from the novel, probably due to censorship on re-incarnation. Also, they probably won't show grown men fantasying as young as 10 years old kid. A brief summary of main leads from the novel Luo Yi Ning - born into privilege, strong, smart, but had tumultuous lives Luo Shen Yuan - complicated, dark, ruthless to everyone except Luo Yi Ning
Their meet-cute was cute. He slashed her across her chest, only the book she hid in her chest saved her. But, putting myself in that setting, a society where kill or get killed, stabbed, poisoned was normal, like another day in paradise, then it was no biggie if he intended to kill her in the first place then stabbed, poisoned, tortured, blackmailed her thereafter. Then there was SML with his equally bad deeds toward her. It’s like choosing the lesser of two evils.
Best quotes of today ep, 29 LiGe to Meng Chief – The way to atone for a mistake is not to escape(avoid) it but to resolve it. Baili to the Fourth Prince & Princess – Aren’t friends supposed to have no secret?
In early ep, Li Ge said he would protect Zi Qing at all costs. Then he taught Zi Qing the powerful sound strike . And whenever they met, they kept talking about uncovering all music scores and playing them to decipher LiShang. Then he told Mrs. Qin that he would die soon so he would only pave the path to the future for Dongling. And while he’s stive alive, he’ll do what needs to be done. So, maybe the future of Dongling depends on deciphering LiShang and he thinks only Zi Qing can do that? Just my guess. I could be wrong. Anyway, he’s destined to die based on the novel. But I wish he could live and revive his kingdom.
no he said to save him and. the saver ( forget his name) said the boat is sinking, you all go quickly and i will…
yes, I saw that. It's just me, hard for me to watch. They just walked away without showing any concern. The Prince could have ordered one guard to stay behind to help save the man. Regardless hating the man to the core ( or not), he left behind the clue for the Prince where bad guys took the Princess and without him, the Princess could have been drowned already.
Well, two people almost drowned, the man held the woman keeping her afloat. But, the rescuers only pulled the woman up, then all three of them walked away, letting the man drowned. Hard to watch
FL’s mother is insufferable. In the fighting scene with leeks everyone talked about, she got mad because her idealistic daughter just suddenly showed up and casually told her that she quit job and also cancelled the wedding. Beside her violent behavior, as soon as her daughter mentioned cancelling the wedding, she immediately asked the presumptuous question “Did you cheat on him?”. WTF a parent like that, angry or not, shouldn’t assume the worse of your own child.
Chemistry is highly subjective so opinions, more often than not, are like a house divided. “Here”, in this drama, to some it’s oozing, on fire, but to others, not so much. To me, the leads are still emitting more of a close friends vibe. Their chemistry, either from their banters or even their quiet moments, heart to heart conversations, like the pool scene, was just lukewarm. I hope it will get better as the story progresses and their feelings be known to each other.
Try using earpods, you'll understand what she's saying. I also couldn't understand what she was saying at first,…
Understood. Foreigners i work with are pretty good with English but strong accents of course. Anyway, we probably see more since they will work with the US company. Im going to just ignore and read subtitles

Hm, im not sure that character has anything to do with my comment. We can disagree without insulting each other as you manage to offend then say no offend. You seem to have a hard time to accept that someone may have different opinion from yours. You can understand her English then good for you. It doesnt mean others can understand her like you do. Also i only pointed out the difficulty i had trying to understand the character, by no mean criticizing the character.

Well, I turned up the volume, tried several times rewinding back and fort. The first sentence she said "I have sent" or "We have sent". I couldn't make out the words "have sent". The pronunciations were wrong in all dialogs. If she slowed down and tried to pronounce correctly, then I'm ok. I don't mind accents or talk like reading a script as I know English is not their main language. Also, Kdramas are global, and a NF production, they should have done a better job at this.
