I haven’t even watched the last couple of episodes but it seemed obvious from the start that Bo Geul was Kiho. Even their mannerism is way more alike. That said, I do really like Woo Hak and wish we had a drama for once where not the one with the childhood connection gets the girl, but someone new. That would make the story more interesting as well. It’s a bit boring how kdramas always have this trope of the hidden childhood connection and then people have to fall in love again as adults. It’s so unrealistic. Mokha clearly cared for Kiho, but I don’t even think it was romantic at the time, so it would be a nice twist if she fell in love with Woo Hak and Bo Geul/Kiho was just a good friend that she treasures.

I was thinking the same thing. In attorney woo, I thought her acting was incredible but now I find it odd that her mannerism here is just so similar?

Haven’t watched the last couple of episodes, but sounds like the mystery is still not solved and I might be the only one who doesn’t care who Ki Ho is? I thought this drama would be about a girl who was stranded on an island and her journey to become a famous singer, but instead seems to be more about the mystery of the brothers. But maybe this changes in ep 5-6? Will still continue watching for now

I do feel like this drama should be titled “Who is Ki Ho”

This might be a dumb question, but what exactly do you think Li Ni is apologising for? Is he just apologising for not having believed her, or is he also apologising for letting SML die (when he could have saved him)?

I know a lot of people are annoyed at FL for being upset with him, but I totally get her. Yes, what SML did was awful and totally wrong but he is still like a brother and best friend to her (probably the most important person to her growing up beside her father), so I would be really upset too if my love interest let that person die.

But I wasn’t really sure if that’s what Li Ni is apologising for, or if he’s just saying sorry because she’s upset and he wants her to forgive him?

I also think Jing Tian is a great actress because I really felt for her when she was crying in this episode, despite the fact that I didn’t like SML at all.

BTW, I think it’s also interesting that Li Ni is still actively using her, despite knowing that she was innocent, and is now using her to blackmail her father to help him by keeping her captive. I feel like that whole thing might also drive a wedge between them. On one hand he wants her to forgive him and tells her it’s just for her own good that he’s holding her captive, but he’s also blackmailing her father. Doesn’t seem like the best long term strategy for a healthy relationship, and given he wants to marry her.

They seem so comfortable with each other 😂

This one has much more screentime between the leads though which I really like. I struggled to get into LLTG because the leads had barely any screentime together in the first 5-10 episodes or so.

100% agree. GYZ in AMA is possibly my favourite ML of all time, and I am so happy that LN personality here is quite similar. My theory is that XK is so good at playing playful ML roles because it seems quite similar to his real life personality. I don’t like him as much in some of his other roles, although he’s certainly a good actor. And totally agree that LN is such a great character, can’t wait to see more.

I habe never watched any variety shows haha. Do they get translated? Not even sure where to find them.

I don’t get it. After watching a few of his BTS videos, he seems really fun and nice? I was actually thinking that his real life personality seems quite similar to his character here and in AMA, which would explain why he plays these playful characters so well. Really don’t get the hate.

It’s great! Lots of chemistry and screentime between the leads, good acting, both main characters are really likeable and smart, pacing is really good. I think you’ll like it!

WOL = Wonderland of Love (wuxia drama with Xu Kai + Jing Tian)

OFL = Only for Love (modern drama with Bai Lu + Dylan)

There is also another girl who likes the ML but she doesn’t get much screentime at all, same thing applies to SML. So far, most of the screentime is very much focused on ML and FL. That said, if you’re not hooked after the first couple of episodes, it’s probably just not your cup of tea. The storyline, pacing, humour and leads interactions stays pretty consistent (at least for the first 10 episodes), so if you’re not into it, maybe just drop it?

It’s the opposite for me, I think this one is great. The last XK drama I enjoyed this much was AMA 😍 But I guess everyone has different tastes. This one stays pretty consistent in humour and pacing so far, so if you’re not hooked after the first couple of episodes, probably makes sense to just drop it.

Yes the back part is a bit weird, but I ignore it. I actually quite like the bangs in the front haha

I don’t mind it, I actually find him really handsome here. More so than in some of his other dramas.

I guess this would also explain why his father is also going to be opposed to Li Ni marrying Cui Lin. If his father is actually just a puppet for Sun Jin, he won’t want his son to have so much influence as he would have being married to the Cui family.
