That makes sense, I had wondered if the kid was really hers. If she’s also 25, then the kid would have been conceived when she was 12 which seems unlikely even for that time.

I an a bit confused about the ages of the FL and ML. FL must be a bit older if she already has a 12 year old son, unless she got married really young? And I can’t quite remember when ML got married and how long he’s been a widower.

Pacing is great and lots of screen time between the two leads.

So she is still under a fake identity at the moment.

They’re so great together. It’s so funny when Li Ni tries to be flirty but then FL (I’m still confused about her real name) is flirty right back. It’s so refreshing not to have a shy FL or ML.

Really enjoying this so far, it’s even better than expected. I really like when Xu Kai plays a mischievous/ playful character, those are my favourite type of roles and I’m so tired of stone faced MLs these days. Jing Tian is also great as expected, always nice to see a strong FL.

That seems really good compared to a lot of kdramas these days!

Pretty excited for this. I loved Xu Kai in AMA, and Jing Tian is also amazing, especially in Rattan. Hope we get to see a strong FL here.

Is there any romance in this? Thinking of starting this now that it has almost finished airing 😊

Not really feeling this one so far. Watched up to ep 4, but the Dylan is a bit too cold and wooden for my liking. Shame because I loved him in LBFAD, and Bai Lu is my favourite cdrama actress.

It’s so obvious that Bo Geoul is Kiho. I wonder why they even made it a mystery because it’s so obvious from the clues they presented.

Totally agree, this is also what I’m expecting to happen. I am not a big fan of the ghost singing plot (which will inevitably get exposed), but I DO love the soundtrack. Already looking forward to the next song and stage performance. The sismance between MH and RJ is also great, hope it stays like this.

Yes although she did say that she’ll never give up on performing. Not sure what that mean, but I hope she’s just aiming for the 20m albums and will then focus on the entertainment company.

Yes I think it’s quite likely that it’ll end up like that, but it still seems wrong that she used Mohka as ghost singer in order to sell more albums. That seems to be cheating the fans, and could get them in legal trouble as well. But it’s a kdrama so I guess in the end it’ll all work out, RJ will get the shares and Mohka will become famous.

I am also worried it’ll backfire, but my guess is that eventually RJ will sell the albums, then there will be a legal fight about the shares and eventually she’ll get ownership of the company and then finally in the last episode, Mokha will get her big break.

I am enjoying this but not a fan of the ghost singer plot. They can both get into trouble if this becomes public knowledge (might even be illegal?) and if Mokha wants to be a singer, it might be an issue that her voice is so similar to what people will associate with RJ.

I like the relationship between Mokha and RJ at the moment, but worried it might become toxic is RJ decides she wants to cling to fame for longer.
I am guessing the drama will end with Mokha finally getting her big break, but it’s a bit annoying if we have to wait till episode 12 for that.

Just watched this for the second time, and I think it deserves a much higher rating. The first half is exceptional, and while the second half does drag a bit and feels a bit depressing, I can see why they filmed it like this because otherwise Jae Eon’s character development wouldn’t be very believable. I also really like all the side couples here, especially the FL relationship - so beautifully done. All in all, totally worth watching and I’m sure I’ll rewatch it again eventually!

Really excited for this. I especially like the description of the FL. Too many times, we see the immortal demon paired with a naive, poor & bubbly damsel-in-distress FL, so it’ll be nice to see a rich, arrogant and cold FL for a change!

Is it just me hoping for a love triangle with the villain? 😂

I also find it pretty annoying that he doesn’t communicate properly with HJ. So he wasn’t going to tell her that he already broke up with his ex, and was going to wait for months until the construction was done and only after he would be open about the break-up, and then only slowly start dating HJ so that there wouldn’t be gossip? That whole process would have taken at least 6 months if not over a year. And HJ was meant to just wait for him without him explaining the master plan and asking her if she was fine with it?
