This series have caught the attention of my wife and I, in part to the stories and great interactions, but also…
For the romantic aspect, it does make me anxious. I wonder how the writer will approach it. Whether it’s subtle or explored in depth? Or none at all. But either way, the relationship between YW & JH is very endearing & precious (even without romance).
Is there really absolutely no romance between the leads? Cause there is no tag :/
First & foremost it is a life and law drama. The romantic aspect is more what happens in the story not necessarily the genre of the show. You know how Business Proposal is a romance and promoted as a romance show thus has a romance tag. EAW is like not like that. That’s probably why it doesn’t have the romance tag in the genre section-tags.
This show has completely fallen apart. I won’t write a long rant but there was so much potential that was wasted.…
The biggest problem is the writer decided to write two pitiful ML’s who’s hasn’t gotten anything remotely done in the past 10 ep 😒. No character development, no story progression. It’s just a circle of melodramatics & crying.
EAW doesn’t need romance to be good. But the writer herself incorporated romantic elements in the show in a lighthearted manner & it’s ACTUALLY well done, more so than an actual romance drama. It’s obviously not a romance drama like Business Proposal. The fact that the production company or actors didn’t promote the show with any hint of romance but as a life & law drama is pretty intentional but that’s the beauty of the show. It’s like a little surprise. I love surprises.✨😌
To those who are curious about the show, Think of this drama as a nice little present. You don't know what you're going to get until you open it. I definitely do recommend watching this drama.
To add on what bloomingtide said, it’s more so a pop culture reference. The joke is the grandfather’s name…
You’re welcome.
Won Bin’s name has been referenced in drama & variety shows and whatnot. He’s really an outstanding actor of his generation. Wish he’d come back soon 🥲
Sorry friends … no feedback for episode 4 (yet, maybe?) I've been a little occupied. Maybe next week, if it…
To add on what bloomingtide said, it’s more so a pop culture reference. The joke is the grandfather’s name is associated with a handsome actor whose name is Won Bin, unlike the 3 sons who have unattractive names. Won Bin was considered a ‘heartthrob’ prolific film actor in the early 2000-2009 but hasn’t been active in acting industry for over more than 10 years so he may not sound familiar compare to currently active-well known handsome actors like Gong Yoo or Hyun Bin. So some might not understand the name reference of the joke lol.
Thanks for your insights. Really enjoyed reading them!
But why is that old geezer actor everywhere I can’t 😒😒😒😒 Are they out of actors or what jeezuuuus.

EAW at #8 for Top 10 Netflix Worldwide July 8 ✨🤩
It went from #20 to #8 worldwide with only 4 episodes out. That’s amazing.✨🐳

I haven’t rewatched any of the episodes yet so I might do it before next week ep airs.
