The 9/11 scene is a bit irksome. Could have gone with a tragic event or even a fictional one in SK & it would still hit the same way. I think if YJ had made it successfully at UBS as a upcoming reporter-anchor in SK only and became financially & mentally stable and eventually retired, it would been befitting to have seen him study & work abroad when he’s older at 45, given that he always wanted to work as an engineer/NASA.

You should definitely give it a try & watch it all the way through! It’s still a very good show with lots of great moments, especially between HD & YJ (despite what I think of the last few ep).
The friendship & relationship between the cast of characters are very nice, specifically the female characters.✨

These people live mundane lives with personal struggles which is the point of the show. They are stuck in a rut & not sure what to do with their current predicament. That’s why it’s call my liberation notes, to see whether these 3 will take a step to liberate themselves or not. Change isn’t easy especially given that these characters are in their late 20’s to 30’s since 3 siblings mindset and attitude about themselves & towards people-out look on life stems a lot from their upbringing & relationship with their parents and societal expectation. The show depicts their parents as very old fashioned, they don’t really talk to their kids, & things goes as the fathers says. The siblings don’t have the financial means to live on their own either that’s why CH(the brother) wants to buy a car but he doesn’t have money for it & the dad protest about it. It’s common for folks to travel in public spaces for 1-2 hrs a day & complain. It’s not like Yeom siblings complain about it every ep.
These characters’ lives is probably different than your own, so you may not like it. But I don’t think you have to relate to these characters to enjoy the show. Although the show is definitely not for everyone.

I’ve been waiting last year when they started filming back in Aug-Sept. Time flies so fast. It’s definitely one of the more memorable kdramas I’ve watched in a while. Happy that it got popular! Plus, KTR 😌✨💕.

I believe they release 4-12 a week. Yes, it’s sort of a binge style. I mentioned that one kdrama ep are long so sometimes it take me a while to watch one ep. (Depends what I’m watching).
