I just want to know u guys like characters because of you relate with them or because of your favorite actor playing…
I’m watching it for the writer, not necessarily the actors themselves. Although I am a fan of Son Seok K.
There’s no drastic flashback or childhood memories kind of thing. It puts the viewers straight into the the current lives of these characters. The writing style is similar to My Mister since it’s the same writer. Episode by episode viewers gets to understand the characters little by little. It’s like an onion. It has layers. Once you keep peeling it, everything sort of falls into place.
My Mister was criticized before it aired & no one wanted to watch it but it’s still considered & is critically acclaimed tv-cable kdramas of all times. I mean it took me 2 years after the showed aired & about 3 ep to really get into My Mister & it ultimately became one of my fav kdramas ever. So don’t worry too much about the ratings for MLN.
"I was witnessing dead bodies every day, meeting families of the deceased, blah blah". What does that have anything…
This trope is the most annoying because you see it often written for male characters (with trauma) where they suffer alone & ignore everyone in the process and thinks it’s a good thing.😒 🙃 it’s quite often used as a plot point for misunderstanding to ensue rather than a topic that’s explored in depth.
I just completed the drama and my hurt is pumping......drama was lit but someone plz explain me those unexplained…
I believe s2 was green lit last year but I’m not sure of any cast calls or production startup yet? I hope the original cast returns because they were great in their roles, specifically WJK & WQ. Now that they are older & more mature, I’d like to see them as the main leads again.
I also have no problems with bittersweet/realistic endings, but I feel they could have done it in a different…
The scene where JW proposes to Yurim should’ve been before the funeral scene since they talk about marriage there lol. It’s an awkward scene placement. The last ep was oddly put together - script wise & editing.
But SSK does it effortlessly 😎.

I’m curious what the 3 introverts will do. They are a cute trio & I’m rooting for them!
Mr Gu was gobsmacked lol.
Also, Mr Gu a paid a year in advance in rent? Okay now I’m curious what life he lead before for him to end up in an outskirt of Sanpo.
One of the few actors who don’t really have to try hard to act but still captivate the viewers in some way.
With MLN, it might take me a few ep to get into it too. Still haven’t caught up with the latest ep.
It’s visually well shot. One of the more well directed contemporary c-dramas.
KTR didn’t get to attend for her Mr Sunshine nomination so I hope she attends this year.
Once you hit after ep 18, the story unfolds beautifully.
The story between GTY & Ming Lan is very well written.
