I actually was surprised that with such a big cast, the drama has so far managed to have us intrigued and root…
I’m actually impressed with the screenwriter. Usually these types of writing tends to be reserved for family dramas with 50+ ep with a large cast but they were able to do it within 16 ep for HomeCha while keeping it interesting & engaging without the story being too over the top.
I thought so, but let's not worry, there are many mysteries yet to be solved such as Chief Hong's real occupation,…
I know not every relationship is going to be perfect with ups & down but I hate the whole ‘break up because of lack of communication then get together again in last ep’ trope :/. It is way too common in romance dramas which bugs me lol. I’ll just watch with low expectations lol. *fingers cross
Ep 10 was definitely a turning point in the story. Some may think there isn’t enough materials for the next 6 ep but there are still things that has not been resolve or solved yet?
1. The lottery ticket winner? 2. The second reason for HJ & YG’s divorce? 3. Will MS & EC be a thing lol XD? 4. SH program become a hit or not? 5. DS’s 5 years absent mystery in Seoul? 6. Who’s the mystery man in the photo with the wife & child? 7. HJ realize DS as the kid in the photo with grandpa? 8. HJ returning to Seoul? 9. DS stay in Gongjin? 10. Will the ML’s stay together :(?
I want to see how the drama explores DS & HJ’s relationship.
Why do I get a feeling it won’t end happily for the MLs. It’s giving me anxiety lol. 6 more episodes left, but anything can happen :(. I hope it’s a happy ending for everyone.
I wish Hye Jin will end up with Doo Shik :). Hate love triangles by the way.
I am 100% she will. Unless the screenwriters flips the switch lol, which I doubt.
I don’t see HJ/DS/SH situation as a love triangle. It’s pretty clear cut who have feelings for who or endgame. Plus, SH & DS formed a sort of camaraderie with each other so even if HJ doesn’t pick SH, I doubt he’ll be upset or have any spite since it’s DS. Also, HJ, DS, & even SH himself have their own distinctive personality & arc so the love triangle is barely the focus. DS & SH’s role in the story isn’t about chasing HJ likes she’s an object to be won over like the usual kdramas nor do they hate each other.
Off topic. Why do Korean actors never reveal their relationship status? So my guess is they aren't allowed to…
I’m pretty sure it’s for privacy & safety measures. The public doesn’t need to know everything about celebrities’ lives unless the celebrities speak about it personally to the public. Plus there are some weird & not so great fans or netizens that can take it to the extreme like stalking, online bashing, & have some odd fixation etc, to the point the celebrity themselves would not like & feel uncomfortable or simply don’t want their significant other to be in the limelight.
Overrated???Overrated 2021 would be Vincenzo, Doom at Your Service, Mouse, or Nevertheless lol. This show didn’t…
I watched all four, which I did not finish & dropped. Vincenzo has terrible forced humor, Doom at Your Service script & dialogue reads like cryptic codes, Mouse plot is illogical, & Nevertheless is just bland. Would not recommend lol.
this drama is the definition, in my opinion, of overrated. It is well written, "the dialogue and the characters"…
Overrated??? Overrated 2021 would be Vincenzo, Doom at Your Service, Mouse, or Nevertheless lol. This show didn’t have a huge buzz or major anticipation in SK or overseas.
This drama definitely isn’t going to be the best thing since slice bread lol but I can appreciate it for what it is since it knows what it wants to be without trying too hard or going overboard. Simple but still watchable & entertaining. I’m curious to see how these characters unfold from the halfway point. I’m a sucker for well written character development so hope to see how it plays out.
Most of you sissies overuse the word toxic. Idk what the reason for this is - terrible self esteem, princess complex,…
What’s up with the unnecessary condescending attitude & assumptions? Calling people names over bland fictional characters lolol???
Not only does JE exhibit stalker like traits from the get go, he’s a walking talking cardboard box. If JE wasn’t played by SK & by a different less attractive actor, y’all would criticize his actions & calling him an obsessive creeper straight up. Besides the whole ‘toxicity’, he’s a snooze fest & way too emotionally immature lol. How is this attractive lol??? The show had something unique if it had adapted the webtoon but nope it’s the same run over the mill nonsense with a dry unconvincing script.
Haven’t seen the original but I did watch the HBO remake. I’m not sure whether they are taking inspiration from the UK or the HBO one? It will be interesting to see how the drama rework the story from a Korean perspective in terms of the court & law system. Also, I hope this story is different from the HBO remake. I hope the screenwriter gives Lee Seol who plays the young rookie lawyer a good arc because I wasn’t a fan with what they did with Chandra in the HBO one. I’m curious how KSH’s character will be compare to Naz in the HBO remake because it’s pretty tragic in that one.
