The ratings dipped so quick. It’s only been 1 episode. SK ratings is somewhat on the lower end. I’m not too sure about the general SK audience reaction though.
The comments here sound so judgy and naive lol. Sometimes it just happens that u just meet someone where there's…
I’ve never been roped into a situation like NB but that doesn’t mean I don’t understand what’s happening. Her being thrown into an attraction & attachment towards PJE pretty much serves as a plot point which I assume will be the forefront of discussion that *hopefully addresses toxicity in relationships rather than it be romanticize.
God they look cute together but since I know the ML is supposed to be an a-hole I can't make myself like him 100%.…
Song Kang’s line delivery is pretty much same in tone in his dramas. It’s stilted lol. Like I said, he isn’t a bad actor but his speech lacks finesse in acting.
HSH seems fine here. Honestly I think it’s more so the dialogue & direction.
Seriously people really want female lead end up with male lead? Just bcz he is hot? Even he is a piece of trash…
PJE needs to be be kicked to the curb. His unwanted advances & the way he touches her nonchalantly screams *red flags*. Not only is he some skeevy guy but he’s boring to boot lol. A walking talking dry wall. The story over emphasis about PJE’s looks is ‘eye rolling. Song Kang is boyishly cute, not drop dead heaping gorgeous, at least to me lol.
Looking to see if Na Bi develops & grows so she can see her own worth. She deserves better!
Na Bi is obviously not a matur person (especially emotionally), so I don't think it's that weird she is so into…
Repulsive men just creeps their way to her. She was in a toxic relationship before so I’m not surprised that the obvious red flags doesn’t dissuade her. Wasn’t the ex an art professor at another college campus who was probably mingling with a student? Those are the worst lol.
NB even said she wanted to go far away from her mom so maybe it’s hinting she doesn’t quite have a close-knit relationship with her mom? Maybe that’s why she tries to find comfort & love from men she dates or have interest in?
i honestly wished that nabi took just a little bit more time to become THAT interested in jae eon. as a viewer,…
The drama only has 10 episodes & probably have to speed up the whole situation between the two. I do agree what’s happening between the two is rather quick since she just got out of a shit relationship. I think that serves as a plot point because she’s young & somewhat naive.
Been waiting a year for this. Glad Jung Hae In took this role. He has the acting chops. He just needs more diverse drama projects to lead in to shed off that ‘melodrama’.
Plus, Son Seok Koo (“.^.”)!!! Totally here for him.
PJE is meant to be audacious & alluring but I’m not getting that performance from Song Kang. I’ve seen Song Kang in Sweet Home, Navirella, & bits of Love Alarm. He’s really good in the emotional aspect like crying, but honestly his line delivery tends to be dry. He’s not a bad actor but he’s not quippy nor has that kind of flare/charisma. Maybe PJE is just written like a dry wall lol. Btw, I have not read the webtoon.
As for HSH, this is the first drama I’ve seen her in, although I’ve seen snippets of her in 100 Days My Prince. So far, she’s fine. She so pretty though (“. O .”). Her face is so squishy lol. I’m not feeling the characters or the story but I’m curious where it goes with Na Bi as a character.
Is anyone getting the vibes that Sol is in love/likes her gal-friend?
Anyone else noticing the excessive amount of product placement?? The hair curler, the granola bar and that oreo…
Lol in Goblin it was pretty apparent from the miniso to the sponsor of all sponsors Subway lol. Or when Goblin/Kim Shin was obviously promoting a product in that retail store lol.
+ give me reasons why this deserves to be watched, heard it’s abit all over the place and confusing
Watch the first 4 episodes to get an essence of the drama. That should be enough whether it makes you want to continue the show all the way through or not.
It’s not confusing, more so not quite coherent or straightforward in dialogue. If you’re into aesthetically pleasing looking show you might like it. The acting here is okay but it’s more so the writing of the characters, not necessarily the actors’ ability. If you enjoy a show with meatier storytelling & in-depth characterization, then this might not be for you, but hey I’m not going to deter you from watching. Try it out & see if you like it.
Am I the only think that the dubbed voice doesn’t match ZDY’s appearance as SG? Or maybe it’s just editing with the voice overlay. She has such a dainty look I’m surprised they didn’t give her a higher pitched voice lol. Not that I’m complaining.
That's literally the point of the series. They're not supposed to be this straight-forward, amazing detectives.…
I didn’t ‘miss’ the point of the drama. You can make characters incompetence & have questionable decision making. But with most crime dramas with 16 episodes, it reads more like a plot device to drag out the story.
I’m not familiar with both actors work but I’ve seen snippets of Xu Kai in Arsenal Military Academy and thought he is quite charming in that one. His character here is much different with a more subdued personality but I’m not sure if I buy into his performance yet. As for actress of the FL, I’m feeling her yet either lol.
I don’t know anything about the xianxia genre so it’s a tad much for me to follow but the set design is really nice & the CGI/VFX is pretty neat.
Song Kang is cute but he’s not ‘head turning’ swooning casanova lol.
