I’d go with Chang Ge in the manhua in terms of military/tactical warfare. In the manhua, A’sun is more physical…
My memory of the manhua is a bit rough lol but she does fight alongside her Uncle Pusa against the Greater Khan. Both Chang Ge & A’sun understand that they will have to fight each other on the battlefield but there’s no hard feelings & spite towards one another.

Chang Ge is conflicted with her identity so her hearts it’s still with Tang & with her mother side, Uyghur. The manhua hasn’t ended yet so it stop on a really good part when a Tang Convoy finds out she’s with her Uncle Pusa, the Uyghur Elteber. Although war is unavoidable, I’d say she tries to find ways to not have bloodshed/conflict from happening.

I’m not saying she’s dumb or not intelligent . I was referring to the person’s comment about Chang Ge as A’sun strategist during the grassland arc in the manhua. In the drama she isn’t because of the changes they made to the story since A’sun is good at everything so it wouldn’t make sense for Chang Ge to be his strategist when he already knows what to do.

A’sun wasn’t a complete dolt lol or dumb in the manhua just not as smart or cunning like Chang Ge. But he still very bad@ss & he saves Chang Ge too. I’m pretty aware of the changes. Historical c-drama tends to write stories in a way to prop up male characters but that doesn’t mean I have to like/accept it.

There was brewing conflict between A’sun & She’er. A’sun actually gets hurt in a fight with She’er. Chang Ge sends backup to help A’sun & Mujin flee the scene.

In general, Chang Ge gives him practical advices on how to manage his camp, like how to avoid war & where to go etc. & in return, A’sun gifts Chang Ge many things like new tent, carriage, workers etc. in the manhua. His military troops listens to Chang Ge & she commands them lol. A’sun trusts
Chang Ge wholeheartedly lol.

In the drama, Chang Ge tells A’sun that she wants to be his strategist but isn’t because within the context of the situations she in. She’s written/treated more like a captive in disguise.

I’m not sure how far you read, but the manhua does a good job illustrating Chang Ge’s privilege, specifically during the Taoist Temple arc. I love when the village folks teaches her about plowing and farming. It puts Chang Ge’s life in perspective showing people who are much less fortunate than her can teach her so much about other things in life since she grew up in fancy palaces and great walls.

I don’t know much about Chinese history or how kids who’s upbringing was like in the royal palaces but in the manhua I assume it’s because Chang Ge was expose to a lot of things such as literature & taught about the art of war at a very young age. She’s like a sponge. Chang Ge was actually a very spoiled brat with a big ego lol.

"Besides love " between ashile sun and li changge I wonder who has more military tactics/ strategies considering…
I’d go with Chang Ge in the manhua in terms of military/tactical warfare. In the manhua, A’sun is more physical & brute strength while Chang Ge is the brains. There were instances that Chang Ge could have left if she wanted to while working as A’sun’s strategist but she needed to stay to form alliances & establish merchant convoys to keep a stronghold in the grassland. She’s the rational type who has a plan within a plan within another plan lol. That’s why A’sun has Mujin as an advisor & Chang Ge as a strategist. Chang Ge knows how to maneuver herself out of situations in the manhua. In the drama, A’sun is pretty much good at everything.

I think her character is fine. I mean she is the prosecutor. Her role is pivotal since she can charge the criminals…
I’m waiting for that character development too since the show is at the halfway point now. I do agree that the way she’s written it’s pretty dry. I want to see that burning conviction in her eyes lol.

Everyone hating Kang Hana while I really hate that loanshark lady. You guys should have some compass to see whom…
Her character is fine. I don’t hate her character. I don’t think I hate any of the main cast since I understand why they do the things they do but surely it will bite them in the butt lol specifically CEO Jang. I hate all the disgusting criminals though lol. They derserve every beating by KDG.

I still like this movie a lot, but still annoyed at 2 things! First, absolutely hate the fact that they bring…
I like A’sun in the drama but I love him more in the manhua. A’sun is not as smart as in the drama but that’s why he has Chang Ge as a strategist lol. They balance each other’s shortcomings & strength as A’sun has the brawn & Chang Ge has the brain.

I’m partial to the manhua since the character development & arch for both GeSun is tight & polished.

You guys, I keep skipping Ha Na's scenes. lol. I don't know... ever since the 1st episode, her character irks…
I think her character is fine. I mean she is the prosecutor. Her role is pivotal since she can charge the criminals with the crimes. None of the rainbow team can do that unless they outright murder the bad guys lol.

But I see what you’re saying. As I watched the drama I sometimes forget KHN is part of the show lol.

I’m still waiting for Viki subs for ep 9. 、ヽ`(~д~*)、ヽ

I'd say, Goodbye My Princess has the most toxic ML.The Most toxic relationship, and the saddest story of terrible…
The lead in Royal Nirvana is trash lol. He literally physically beats the main female character but hey, ‘they LOVE each other so it doesn’t matter’. Trash!

I’d say if you want to know more about A’sun, reading the manhua puts his backstory in context. His characterization is different from the drama but he’s so amazing. He also undergoes great character development.

I agree. Ive only seen 32 ep of TLB but A’sun constantly saving Chang Ge bugged me. Chang Ge does the saving lol in the manhua. I’m not saying A’sun doesn’t help or save Chang Ge but Chang Ge is super capable, tactical & resourceful in the manhua more so than the drama. She isn’t put in any stupid or degrading situations.

Well usually I'm not up to main lead fighting with each other but here kinda wish to see more chang ge and ashile…
In the manhua, Chang Ge & A’sun did in fact went to battle against each other. Not physically though but A’sun fought for the Greater Khan & Chang Ge was an advisor to her Uncle Pusa. It was hilarious lol. They didn’t know they would have to fight each other lol. That arc was so good.O(≧▽≦)O I was grinning ear to ear lol.

Yes so true, was expecting she is a much stronger lady. Crying in the room (under the table) for so many days…
I’m interested to see how they further develop her character. After ep 8, it is the start.

Oh, I was replying to the other person about her crying lol who called her a crybaby.

I see what your saying. Her story arch was only introduced in the past 3 episode. GE liking KDG is just an aspect of her character not necessarily an all defining trait. She proved to be an important asset to the team already & her story doesn’t revolve entirely around KDG, most only because they’re neighbors so I can see why the writers have them together often. I hope to see her do even more great things in the later half of the show.

I just binge watched all the episodes and have now caught up! This drama is getting better each episode. I felt…
I was so angry for what happen to GE sister. She trusted a shit-stain person who took advantage of her. That disgusting turd deserved that helmet beating to his crouch by KDG lol.
