I like ambiguity lol. But as individual characters, not romantically, I love them in the manhua. Dilreba and Leo do look nice together as Change Ge & A'sun. Leo has the perfect height & physique as A'sun.
Heard it through the grapevine so don't quote me lol, that Xia Da has rights to her manhua now so hopefully she will continue the amazing story! I also heard that the manhua will be getting an animated tv show but I could be wrong. Either way, I'm so happy for her!

I adore Change Ge & A'sun character dynamic and relationship so much. Trying to find a dynamic & relationship similar to them is rare in any manhua/manga books or drama. In the drama from a writing standpoint, Chang Ge & A'sun are okay. Manhua, they both feel much more grounded & realistic.
We have to separate manhwa and TV adaptation. What we get from manhwa sometimes it is hard to produce on screen.…
The thing about the drama is that they added new materials that wasn't in the manhua. The drama would've been fine even if it wasn't exactly part by part like the manhua but the inclusion of the new materials like new characters and subplots just feels unnecessarily overstuffed.

I’ve seen Six Flying Dragon! Well the first 12 episode about 2 years ago. I can’t find a decent streaming site to watch the whole thing so I put it on hold. The cast is great, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the MC lol.

The manhua has like 61 chapters? I think the production had enough to cover but as mentioned, the inclusion of new characters really bogged down the momentum.
Well, unfortunately the story didn't mesh well with you. I suggest for you to drop it then? If you're already…
Yes, its not done but it something that I would recommend reading to those who enjoy the drama. Change Ge and A'sun's dynamic(personality wise) and relationship is different & AMAZING in the manhua. I cant say so for the drama. But that's my opinion.
I agree the Manhua is Soo good but to copy paste everything from it ? Nah ... Come on we already know some things…
The drama doesn't have to adapt every panel by panel, just the essence of the story. The writers could have still capture the manhua well while avoiding censorship since they've already written out/altered the actual names of ethnic groups & historical plot points.
Isn't that the whole point of it being an live adaptation? Song of the Long March is amazing so yes, I would still be 100 x excited for the drama even if it was exactly the same as the manhua since a manhua and live action are two different medium.
Putting the manhua aside, my opinion about the drama is that it has glaring issues from a writing standpoint.

I decided to give it a chance seeing if it’ll get better but it doesn’t lol. The manhua is amazing. If you enjoyed the drama, I would highly recommend reading it. The art is beautiful! To really understand the characters, the manhua is a must read. But hey, if you like the drama whatever floats your boat.
After watching 30 episodes, the manhua remains superior. The drama reads like a terribly written fan-fiction. It did not capture the essence of the manhua. There so many glaring issues with the writing. The moment the screenwriter decided to change certain things in the beginning of the drama from the manhua, it became an entirely different thing and changed the scope of the story.
The douban score is lower than what i'd expect, but it's not actually that terrible, i expect it to be low 7 (Minglan…
I agree with you about TROP and RN. They both had really strong start but sizzle towards the end for me at least. TROTP has an amazing/strong cast. The pacing didn't bothered me at all. I don't mind slow burn dramas, especially if its well written. I was really engrossed in RN from the get-go because I thought the plot and storyline was pretty smart/fresh in terms of palace politics even though the male MC was a painful headache lol.
Oh I hate the fact that Xiaoqi let Helan Zhen live. He should have been killed! Forget whatever political reason…
I know right??!! He's a piece a shit. I don't give a hoot about his sad sob backstory lol. I was rolling my eyes that he lived. Like wtfudge lol. Awu literally suffered PTSD/wounds.
