I wish they kept the dynamic between Do Aeng & Jeong Nyeon. I’m hoping we still get to see that. Since her getting the script was before the trainee performance. I’m assuming they are switching scenes. Have her kicked out first then focus on her relationship with the maeran theatre girls in the second half of the drama since they only have 12 ep.

Ok Gyeong’s love is hye rang. Ok Gyeong is Jeong Nyeon senior in the Webtoon. But since they removed Mr Goh (who is like Jeong Nyeon’s mentor from the Webtoon), seems like they fused that character with Ok Gyeong in the drama. That’s why they have a mentor/mentee relationship & Ok Gyeong appears more often with Jeong Nyeon in the drama.

Jeong Nyeon OST part 2 will be released Oct 20th. Tears of Mokpo & Chunhyangjeon sung by Kim Tae Ri & Shin Ye Eun. This drama consist of 8 songs total, including two versions of Tears of Mokpo & Chunhyangjeon.

I’ve only read what’s been translated in ENG from last year so about 28ch. Because they erased bu yeong & mr goh, which is a huge part not only to Jeong Nyeon story arch (development) & relationship, it’s an important aspect of the story touching subject such as misogyny, cross dressing, queer identity & feminism. (Not sure if they’ll include Mr goh backstory if they fused parts of Mr Goh with Ok Gyeong in the drama?) in terms of the complex struggle of stardom I’m not too sure? Jeong Nyeon has various struggles in the Webtoon throughout but I didn’t read that far to the end Since it’s in Korean.

Jeong Nyeon is 16 in the Webtoon. In the drama she’s 19.
