The synposis on here is totally off, actually more like totally wrong. The drama is about a reputed judge who covers up his son's murder and a criminal gang boss who chase his son's killer. A paternal instinct confrontation between two fathers who decide to become monsters for their children.
Ji Chang Wook's death, did you mean King Gukcheon of Goguryeo's death played by Ji Chang Wook??? another click bait article title. Anyway, that said, I cannot wait for this drama. The only thing I have to say is why does my king Lee Soo Hyuk have to play a villain; despite that I am here for all of it. The trailer is brilliant. This drama would have been so much better without the romance. But that said, Yong-kook affected me emotionally. He is the only one in this household who has me deep in my feelings. You have to feel love to give and express love, but more importantly, to know it's love. Just because someone can conceive a child does not make them a parent. I am wrecked for him. It's horrendous that the Chairwoman expected respect just because she's his mother after everything she did and continues to do. I wanted to hug him so badly. Jung Gyu Woon is so good.
I binge watched episodes 1 to 6 this weekend and I really enjoy this show; it's witty and doesn't take itself too seriously, even though it deals with important issues. Hwang Se Ung may seem like the righteous brother, but Hwang Dae Ung, despite his loud and disturbing nature, might actually be the one who wants Cha Il there. I love their seemingly off-chemistry. What an intelligently written and acted drama. Shin Ha Kyun (he never disappoints) and Jin Goo are special together. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I even like Baek Hyun Jin in this drama, truly talented.
