I don't really like that YWS gets to accompany GZY as his Green Jade Guardian during his trials. She doesn't even act as his guard when they're in the main residence, which makes it super obvious that the writer was looking for an easy way to include her in the trials or GZY is purposely bringing her for an ulterior motive.

Maybe because he is a Red Jade Guardian, he isn't allowed to marry. But not sure if he is still considered a Red Jade since he demoted himself down to Green.

I was considering this, too. But he's always scheming with Yuanzhi and it seems messed up that he is stringing him along so much.

Right!! Initially, I thought the show was becoming absolutely ridiculous because there's no way he learned it that quickly even with the father's notes. But after thinking about it, it must be showing how powerful and smart he truly is. I am eager to see him like that all the time instead of petty fighting with his brother.
