I enjoyed a lot of it but that ending tho… the bad people got off too easy and the good suffered too much. But I shouldn’t be too surprised cause that’s how these shows go. It was just a guilty pleasure anyways.
The chemistry between Janice and Carrie was what carried the show and motivated me to finish it
Top notch chemistry and even higher quality acting, that’s what really did it for me, these two belong together. I can always count on Son Ye Ji to provide these two things.
Now the story had a lot of cheesy moments and the way they kept hammering on about how fated they are at every step of the way had me rolling my eyes to the back of my head but nonetheless I enjoyed this a lot
I’m finally at the last episode and OMG! the stupidity displayed by the couple during the crossing border scene really annoyed me. Why are they putting so many people in danger for their love. Running in that situation is such a stupid thing, the two sides could have opened fire because of the tension between them and lots of people would have lost their lives all because of their love 🤦🏾♀️
Light cringe and fun, that’s how I’ll describe Lawless Lawyer. There were a lot of moments that were supposed to be funny but ended up being cringy to me especially the scenes with the “Lawless lawyers gang” ugh they were so cringy.
Everyone in this was overacting and it felt like they were acting a play on stage, except for Lee Hye young (Cha moon sook), she really impressed me in this. And although Choi min sik was also overacting but he was very fun to watch on screen. Seo Ye Ji was alright, as usual she’s always better at the emotional scenes. I love Lee Joon Gi normally but he was just okay in this, the fighting and action scenes were actually very impressive though.
The romantic chemistry was just not there for me. They jumped into it too early imo, and I get that it’s cause it’s not the main focus of the story but I didn’t buy the two of them together romantically at all. Maybe as just work partners they work just fine.
If only they’ll act together again in the future in a romance this time🤞
The perfect mix of everything good; thriller, romance, suspense, plot. I was an emotional mess throughout this, I didn’t want it to end. The character development was well worth all my tears.
Ugh I wish this could be good cause I love Han hyo joo and Park Hyung sim but their characters are already annoying me with their holier than thou moral high ground
Wow this is as tropey as a late 2000’s drama. It’s fun and looks like they have good chemistry but I don’t know if I can stand this much cliches that are already making me roll my eyes
One of the healthiest couples I’ve seen in an Asian drama in general. There was no long misunderstanding, they always talked things out; they were quick to figure out their feelings; there was nothing forceful about their relationship; and they didn’t do the whole husband and wife thing that most Thai BLs do, which is a big pet peeve of mine btw. This coupling was everything.
Oh wow this was a wild ride. I shed some hot and sobbing tears were shed at the end, still not over it.
Lee seung gi has done it again, I end up loving him even more whenever I watch anything he’s in. Lee hee hoon and Park Joo hyun also impressed me greatly, in fact the whole cast did do well. I love how everything really came together in the end even though in the middle you’ll be thinking “this doesn’t make sense” or “this is so confusing” but I promise it will make sense in the end.
I think they lost some audience towards the middle where things felt like it was dragging and didn’t make sense, if not for the raving reviews I had heard, I might have not been willing to continue.
Kudos to the writer, director and the whole staff and cast, the show was well made, they kept me on the edge for the whole show
Did they really have to introduce the dreaded trope of a childhood connection in the end? That really dropped my excitement level for the show a whole lot.
The relationship in this was everything, they were so cute together. Although they had chemistry from the beginning, you can actually see them getting even closer and their chemistry getting better as the story went on, almost like a real relationship.
I enjoyed the fangirling but too. It’s very accurate to what we usually see from dedicated fansites. Those little scenes with their effects that showed how they were commenting in the forum were very funny and enjoyable.
Overall I really liked this for the characters, the relationship, the story, the mystery of Lee sol, everything, but then… the last 3 episodes introduced a trope I don’t like at all

And you’re right they’re doing it so it’ll seem like they have this great chemistry 🤦🏾♀️

Baek Eun ha is the cutest human being 🥰

It’s a solid 8.5-9 for me
