This was a ride. This drama can essentially be broken up into 2 parts. Part 1 alone deserves 10 stars, I watched that in 2 days. But the part 2 was slow at some parts, it was interesting but like 8-star interesting. I had a great time watching nonetheless. It was well-written and especially well-acted. Kudos to the actors

Binge-watched this in about 24 hours, I couldn’t stop. It was able to hold my interest continuously, no boring episodes. I couldn’t really get deeply invested in any of the characters though, that’s the downside, not because they were morally grey. But I just didn’t find them that interesting. My favourite was Sae Byeok though, she’s so cool. I wish there wasn’t a reveal at the end, or it should have been a mastermind reveal; it really brought down the enjoyment of the show, my response to that was just “okay”

I just finished this in less than a week and I have to say this is the best Chinese romance I’ve watched. The progression of the romance was very realistic and the issues they dealt with are things anyone can relate to. There’s no unnecessary misunderstandings here. The romance was the most healthy and they had the best hugs ever.

Wow what a disappointment! It really didn’t go the way I expected. But if they were gonna end it that way, I wish they didn’t just leave the resolution till the last 10 minutes.

This was cute. It’s a silly, cute and fun drama so don’t go in expecting logic. The leads’ romance was cute and their chemistry was so believable

I finally got the chance to finish this and my God this has become one of my fave dramas ever. I knew this would happen right from the first episode. I love this so much

OMG! I love this so much already. I’m glad Kim soo hyun is finally back with something I like and I’ve always wanted to watch something with Seo ye ji cause I heard she’s a good actress. The story is intriguing right from the first trailers. Hopefully it keeps the same energy throughout.

This was a well written drama in my opinion. The acting and story were good. I loved the character development t characters went through even though lots of it was frustrating but the pay-off was worth it. I do wish there was more lovey-doves scenes in the end but we can’t win them all. Not all the characters were likable at the beginning but at least they were believable. I also liked the consistent movies themes going on. It was enjoyable.

Sarawat being grumpy while still doing everything Tine asks him is such tsundere behaviour and I’m living for it. He keeps finding ways to spend more time with Tine while pretending to not care, we can see through you Sarawat. Tine still continues to be oblivious but we’ll get there soon.

They’re so cute , they’re killing me.

I was just watching Sotus MVs... again as one does when I saw a tharntype mv and just decided to watch it. I didn’t even finish the mv before I decided I had to watch the whole series immediately, even though Thai BLs can be very miss for me.

I’ve never seen a tsundere that tsundered more than type and a character with more altruism than Tharn. And can we talk about character development because Type really developed as the series goes without it being unrealistic or forced. The romance was also very natural, not to talk of those kisses ?. The acting was so well done by everyone except one( Tar, the actor was over exaggerating too much). Mew was especially good in his acting, Gulf too. But it was the climax scene in ep 12 with the 5 of them that really captured me. I don’t think I’ll ever forget about this series, I loved it so much.

P.s I love Techno so much, he just made me laugh in every scene he was in. Also Champ was very hot.

The series still had the issues that I have with Thai BLS and most dramas in general like hitting your partner, quickly forgetting/ forgiving a serious crime, dubious consent between main character couples (in the beginning mostly), etc. But I can kinda side eye them while still enjoying the series.

Ah I really wish I could find this with English subtitles somewhere.

I don’t think Gael is worth the trouble and I don’t get get Ana’s love for him.

I have anxiety that this is going to be like something in the rain. A noona romance with a ML that’s too perfect and somehow seems more mature that the FL where you can see why the FL will fall for the ML but the ML keeps repeating that the FL is pretty which seems like the only reason he likes her. It’s already building up with an annoying mother/ ex mother-in-law just at the corner. Like I said I have a trauma.

I laughed out loud when they were in El malecon beach and the camera panels out to show everyone doing synchronized Latin ballroom dance, that really pulled me out of the scene and made me laugh.

It’s on Viki, you would have to deal with the ads if you don’t have the pass but otherwise it’s good there.

I can’t remember all the details but I think the ending was okay for the series, there was no other way to end it well.
Regardless of whose side you’re on, it ends sadly but if you watch it, you’ll see there was no other choice. I hope I’m remembering it right.

I don’t like the female lead character, there I said it.
Before I start, a bad girl/ bitchy FL is my favourite trope like ever. When she feels she’s been wronged and then gets closed off or lives her life anyhow. she gets all rough on the edges and soft to those she love, I love that kind of character in all my dramas.
I feel what makes this FL not good enough for me is that I didn’t believe her story, the reason that made her moral compass so messed up, idk if it’s because of the writing or the acting but I just didn’t believe it and now I end up with a second lead like female lead.
And before someone comes for me for liking it in males and not in females; if you know me you’ll know that I usually end up hating most asshole male leads. Also this in not because ‘I didn’t give the character enough chance to develop’; usually there’s at least something I’ll see in the way they’re written that’ll make me love them despite their flaws but for this one just nothing I just end up getting frustrated.
We’ll see how this goes from here, it can’t get worse, right?

From the flashbacks I can already see they’re really gonna go with the “shared trauma” and “fated love” tropes, it was really not needed. Same with the incoming love triangle, they’re so unnecessary.

I’m guessing that’s how the original novel was, but they could have done away with it.

It’s so cheesy and typical, I found myself rolling my eyes so hard. An arrogant ML and his subordinate FL (granted she doesn’t let anyone put her down). I think the leads are usually good actors but I find their acting to be so unnatural in this especially PMY smiles (both the fake smiles at work and the “genuine” ones when she’s with her family/ friends).

I think I’m discovering that I have a problem with Rom-coms in general, many of the things we’re supposed to find funny just seems extremely annoying to me most of the times.

Despite all this I’m looking forward to the beginning of their romance, I couldn’t care less about the side characters.

Ah what a waste of opportunity, this could have been one of the most realistic romance progression in kdrama land but the writer had to ruin it.
Ep 1-4 were great, we were seeing them fall in love, and finding each other attractive, push and pull for who will make the first move
Ep 5-6 good, they are building their relationship learning more about each other, being in that dating stage where they can’t stop thinking each other every minute of everyday
Ep 7-10 were ok, they are trying to balance their other responsibilities in life with their dating. Dealing with the reactions of others to their relationship.
Ep 11-15... uhm what’s going on. Why is the mom being so unreasonable? Why do they keep making such decisions?

SPOILER!!!!

They spent so much time building Junhee as the perfect boyfriend who could do no wrong while Jin ah was this troublemaker who kept making stupid decisions and then she’ll say she’s sorry and JH will forgive her unconditionally. They were so resilient in their fight against their families to be together. JH even refused a 3 month business trip cause he didn’t wanna leave her alone so why the hell did he decide to leave her at the end when she needed him the most and then proceeded to be angry at her? After JA fought so hard to make the assailants pay and keep her job, why did she suddenly decide to leave after JH came?
They really tried it with that 2 minutes long reconciliation after the long ass final episode, we deserved more sweet moments.

If I were to say something positive, the chemistry of the leads was off the charts, they acted out their lives and looked so in love. I wish them the best in their future projects. I wish they’ll team up with the PD again BUT with a different writer.

A short simple cute story

A love triangle/ square was really unneeded for such a short story imo. I loved the ending but didn’t like the build up to it.
