PHEW happy ending thank god. Shen Yuanjin's last bit was rough. Crazy how the dowager sold her out. This was a decently solid drama, i love the two main actors. They always do a great job, better than a lot of A-listers.
At episode 16 I don't think the chemistry between the leads is really strong yet but I like that the FL is smart, dependable, and powerful. She's not annoying and is objective and mature. She doesn't do anything superfluous to show off, only enough to achieve a goal.
I love the chemistry between the two leads but damn miao miao is too good for siyuan. Even though he dotes on her, he's a scum to all the other girls. The way he led su peipei on to the point of marriage only to dump her is insane. I thought he had some grand master plan and the relationship was fake but it was very real especially to pei pei.
Oh my the second couple is soooo cute. I love them so much. The drama and misunderstandings among the main leads are kind of annoying and repetitive. This could have easily been a 24 episode drama.
Oh my the last episode. π₯π₯ Lin Pei Ting sacrificing herself knowing her boss would investigate and dig up the truth if she died there, was not what I expected. Really heartbreaking. This drama was so good, difficult, but really well made.
Eek just started and I'm not sure how to feel about this π« I wish the male lead weren't already enamored so early on when they are strictly patient and doctor. That's a pretty iffy line to cross...sigh.
AHHH THE CONFESSION!! They're soo cute together πππ I'm just imagining how pissed she's going to be when she finds out his identity. I hope they don't make it into some stupid melodramatic thing and instead it's funny because I think it would be hilarious.
The end felt a bit rushed but it's probably because they're having a season 2. I really wanted to see how toxic liu chang and you zhen's marriage became.
Not your average "travel into game world" drama. I like that the male lead looks so innocent but is actually very smart and cunning. I'm kind of excited for the second male lead to start liking the female lead. Begging the drama gods they don't screw up this show.
Oh man I thought Jiang Yidi and Yu Shi's relationship was cute cause he'd get jealous but he's completely ruined it now. It was so stupid of him not to tell her what the plan was when he knew the outcome would be devasting and hiding it would just make it worse π«
I came into this drama with high hopes because the cinematography felt more sophisticated and the cast was good. There are a lot of A-listers but I'm really just interested in Mai Youge and Xu Junle. I feel like the show is full of fillers. They have too much screen time for random people like Junle's brother's girlfriend and her family. Not sure why they matter.
Rewatching this like ten years later is quite the experience. The whole thing is borderline comical. All characters are very flawed but ML is sooo dense to the point I keep laughing every time he talks. The way he tries to argue/placate Luoxi during their conflicts while she is livid is nothing short of hilarious π€£.
ML is bad at acting and the story isn't super well written but the second ML, Ji Ming has me dying. π His character is too funny, I'm sure it was so fun for the actor to take on that role.
How did Ruolei and Fan Yuan end up together? I feel like they rushed their relationship and didn't really give a resolution. Ruolei has not changed at all by the end of the drama. None of her insecurities were ever addressed, she never truly understood the consequences of her actions. Sigh.
