Idk about you guys, but I love ep 9 as much as I love all other episodes. The crying scene is just spectacular like I could feel all sorts of emotions from Sol and KHY nailed it perfectly. Even BWS did a good job portraying Sun Jae’s emotion when he’s confused with Sol’s crying but it pains him to see her cry.

I don’t think it’s a plothole even if there’s no scene of Sun Jae telling her the passcode because it’s quite common for a couple who’s dating to have the password for eo house. They were supposed to meet that night at Sun Jae’s house, Sol was already there before the whole stalker incident. Sun Jae might have told Sol his house password in case he’s late, it’s kinda makes sense to me by the storyline although we don’t have a specific scene on that.
Sol pushing Sun Jae further away is not a noble idiocy trope. I know she’s hurting Sun Jae in 2009 as he doesn’t know anything, but her action is very understandable. She was in pain and grieving for (almost) losing her lover and the unfortunate accident happened because of her. She blames herself for putting Sun Jae into danger, gosh it was painful when she said it should’ve been her (to get killed).
She’s no longer the bubbly Sol who wanted to save her favorite idol from suicide.
The fact that Inhyuk asked Sun Jae, don’t you have any pride? and Sun Jae straightaway admitted that he doesn’t have any 😭 Boy knows he’s a loser and he owns it.
I want to know what happened in the 2nd timeline. I don’t think first timeline Sol might’ve attended college…
I don’t think they kissed on the previous timeline during college, otherwise they would’ve gotten married in the future and we didn’t get the heartfelt Sol’s confession in ep 8 😁
The real question is, why did 2009 Sol back then took Sun Jae’s watch after the incident? Since she had the watch in 2008, did her subconscious mind thought it’s hers at first place? Or she knew that watch would come in handy in the future?
Theory on why time didn’t freeze when Sol sang Sudden Shower and Sun Jae asked her about it:

I actually prefer this!!! like what if after the taxi driver is caught (or dead), Sol remains on this timeline? I would love this so much as she would experience the whole life again and properly this time

1. I believe the time only freezes if she tells something about the future if someone hears it. Even if she yells something, how far could she run? She couldn’t simply attack the killer while he’s freezing anyway. Her goal is to get him convicted, not to just run away from him.
