I am kind of disappointed on how we don't understand why the guy is after her?? like what was the reason??
He’s just an obsessive psychopath for all we know. Honestly, I don’t mind if they don’t give a reason why because his character doesn’t need a depth, he’s just there to show how they all intertwined in every timeline.
My theories / explainations for episode 13:1. She says "I returned to my time and many seasons passed." My theory…
Yup since she time traveled from the age of 20 on the second round, it could be that she’s only back to 2009 not 2023, as the watch activated from 2009. So she’s living 14 years longing for Sun Jae, just like how Sun Jae did on the OG timeline and second timeline.
ok how did Tae Song act is if he understands when she cries saying she misses Sun Jae? he isn’t supposed to…
he didn’t? he was asking deh? which could mean huh? or sorry? in the context, when she mentioned Sun Jae’s name. He was just comforting her since she’s crying.
Bro why does Sunjae need to keep on getting in the way. Im Sol had cops with her. She was gonna be fine but ofc…
I was screaming at him for ruining everything! Like brooo why?? she already asked him to stay away if only he listens! But of course both of them trying to save and protect each other are making things even more messy 😮💨
I rewatched ending ep 2 and ep 13 just to see if SJ indeed time traveling as well, but I guess not? because OG timeline Sun Jae was wearing that watch too in ep 2. About him turning around for a sec in ep 13, it could just be he noticed someone was watching him but then when Sol walked away he just brushed it off.
Remember the scene in the train going to MT, we thought Sun Jae noticed her but pretending that he didn’t see her, but it turned out he really didn’t notice her. It’s giving the same vibe to me, Idk.
I was questioning why the previous time machine watch, Sol could only use it during midnight and recently she can immediately activate it then I remembered, OG Sun Jae died at midnight and in the recent timeline, Sun Jae just died so the watch immediately activated 🤯
Sol did go to the past to “erase” herself from Sun Jae’s life, avoiding the first encounter. OG Sol didn’t…
He passed first audition so it means he’s not that bad and has potential. He had a moment of his voice cracked as he’s not a professional singer, and if the incident did happen in the past, maybe he bounced back later on to still go for his dream and improve his singing. The first audition passed show that he has potential so it makes sense for him to be better at it. He might debut later than previous timeline, who knows.
So I have some questions. 1. How are Im Geum and Hyunjoo together? Shouldn't that change too like the OG timeline…
Sol did go to the past to “erase” herself from Sun Jae’s life, avoiding the first encounter. OG Sol didn’t know Sun Jae exists, so by removing the first encounter, Sun Jae and her are basically strangers.
These are my theories to your question: 1. The fire incident still happened and Sol came to the rescue (with or without Tae Sung), so the first encounter and argument of Im Geum & Hyun Joo still happened (chain reaction, this is their trigger point)
2. Sol still involved with Tae Sung when she traveled to the past. She didn’t want the OG timeline to happen where Tae Sung dropped out of school, so she intervened and perhaps gave the same advice to make Tae Sung turn over a new leaf by graduating and becoming online star then a detective.
3. OG timeline, Sol was sleeping on a bus for that first incident to happen. It’s either she avoids sleeping on a bus, or avoids stopping at the dodgy resevoir stop at night. But we can see that the taxi driver still exists in the preview, maybe Sol did mention it to the police to provide them clue, but she wasn’t directly involved in that place. OG timeline and the next timeline happen all related to Sun Jae, with Sun Jae not in the picture, maybe the incident didn’t happen at all.
4. Tae Sung was casually in the same band with Inhyuk initially. They’re friends first, then only Sun Jae and Tae Sung got to know each other. Like I said, Sol did go to the past and maybe become friends with Tae Sung, so Sol & Inhyuk might just be acquaintances.
5. Inhyuk can sing, just not as good as Sun Jae. They did pass the audition with 3 member band and even in the alternative future last time, they could still be successful without Sun Jae.
Either Sol stayed in 2008 after the time traveling, or she still did 3 times time traveling just like the chances she had, but instead of focusing on Sun Jae, she’s just avoiding Sun Jae but preventing her accidents and making sure her loved ones get better future.
also im so confused about tae sung and sol relationship rn?? because if she never met sun jae that means she probably…
34 y/o Sol did go to the past. Maybe the only thing she changed this time is her encounter with Sun Jae, not others. OG timeline Tae Sung dropped out of school, so maybe 34 y/o Sol again interacted with him in the past (he did mention about the cigarettes incident) to make him change his future, to turn him to new leaf, so Tae Sung did graduate, became online star in 20s and now a detective. 34 y/o Sol also made sure her bestfriend will still marry her brother but with career rn, this is also might be her influence. Instead of using the chance to go back to save Sun Jae from preventing the incident to happen, she just completely erased Sol in Sun Jae’s life to save him this time, so they’re basically strangers in high school until present timeline
also im so confused about tae sung and sol relationship rn?? because if she never met sun jae that means she probably…
Probably not ex, just the same 18 y/o Sol who had crush on him and confessed her love to him? I also found it weird at first why he didn’t even ask if she’s okay after the “death” of Sunjae, but I guess he was clueless of Sol-Sunjae relationship. He was just comforting her when she cried.
if Sol reset their first encounter, then how did she prevent herself from the kidnapping? Is it because she did wake up on the bus on time (Sun Jae didn’t like her so he woke her up) or she ended up at the last bus station stop, not dodgy resovoir?
So many questions now like they shouldn’t pull that card 😭
1. Dong Hee is losing weight the right way. Good thing she owns a gym. Although her fat seems to be melting off…
His ability to go to the past happy moment. After the accident that caused the death of his wife, he could no longer go to that past as he’s no longer happy and no more happy moments that he cherished.
Now he’s trying to patch things up with Ina, to be happy so that he could go back to that moment as a happy moment to save FL from the fire incident. His priorities and reasonings are kinda messed up, imo
I was happy to see Gwi Joo trying to talk to his daughter and make her breakfast. Man was that short-lived. He…
This. I commented similar things earlier. He really needs to work on his priorities. I was so confused when he asked Da Hae for an advice to be a better father then Da Hae said all she wants is for her father to be happy, but then he was all excited to go back to the past to save Da Hae? So his idea of being happy is to fufill his desire to use his power to change the past? The exact same past moment that cause his family to fall apart?
We have slowly been shown FL redemption arc, we need ML to act properly now.
girl... he doesn't know how to be a dad and he's at least trying. His gesture with the jacket is him attempting…
That’s what I said, at first he did voluntarily go back when he saw the door has colors so he thought he could do something to change the past to save his senior, he talked about this to his wife that he saw the door has color maybe this time he could do something. Then eventually the past consumed him to the point he had no longer can control of his power.
girl... he doesn't know how to be a dad and he's at least trying. His gesture with the jacket is him attempting…
actually he does have savior complex, it’s shown when he was kid he tried so many times to save the kitten but couldn’t. Yes, he’s consumed with guilt from the past, but when he saw the door was in color and he could get out from the hospital, he was trying so many times to change the event to save his comrade. He voluntarily went to the past in beginning to make change when his late wife said nothing change and please focus on present, only then because he was too consumed on the past, his superpower became involuntarily and he couldn’t contol it, then the accident happened and he no longer wanted to go back to the day Ina was born. Now that he knows Da Hae said he might had saved her in the past, he feels the “hope” to live so that the could save Da Hae and feels useful of his power.
I think most of viewers are frustrated on how many years he had been neglecting his daughter ever since she’s born and the moment he made some effort, he’s more focused on winning the girl’s heart and wanting to go back to past to save her rather than focusing on his own daughter in the present time.
How am I gonna root for this couple when I dislike both of them? actually now I hate the ML more than FL because his obsession on going back to the past to save someone is really getting on my nerves.
When the homeroom teacher called him, he took time to answer just to give jacket to Da Hae? Am I supposed to think it’s sweet of him? like duhh no! It just shows how he prioritizes other things other his daughter. When Da Hae said all she wants is for her father to be happy, he immediately concludes that he will go back to the past and save Da Hae?? She was giving him advice to be happy for him to be able to be a good father. 😅
Idk I find his obsession and savior complex so annoying because the same moment he wants to go back is the moment that causing his family to fall apart and he couldn’t even save his wife.
do da hae was bullied mercilessly as a child and was LOCKED IN A FREAKING ROOM and was not able to escape when…
If you scroll down, there’s a hate towards GJ too for being all excited to go to the past to save FL and being obsessed on saving someone from the past, but neglecting his daughter in the present ever since she’s born.
about the mom, I don’t like her not because she’s using her power to gain wealth, but because she’s also obsessed on the family’s superpowers and her doubting Ina is not GJ’s daughter was such a jerk move. She’s also control freak and if the family got scam (which they’re not), I would totally blame on her. I agree on Ina that she didn’t tell her family because she wanted to see her grandmother to be miserable of her own action.
I don’t like FL tried to use an innocent child (imagine if Ina doesn’t have that mind-reader ability) and when she’s using the GJ’s power to her own advantage and gaslighting GJ when he questioned it and when she slapped GJ for saying the kiss is meh as if she’s any better.
