I think I know why it’s hard for the detective to refute Sarah Kim’s confession that she’s Kim Mi Jeong. All of Sarah Kim’s connections would prefer Sarah Kim to be dead rather than her become a murderer and a con artist that would make them lose more. Her ‘friend’ got Boudoir’s shares and become the biggest shareholder. Chairwoman got 30% commission (though she wanted to end the contract) and she’s not someone who would want to admit her mistake and lost, so Sarah Kim again is better off dead. Imagine if the news of Sarah Kim actually threw Mi Jeong’s body at the Samwol? It’s better the other way round. I think her ex husband was the one who took away the tissue sample to help her at the end.

The detective is also on the verge of losing this case: either got demoted or proceed and conclude the case. If she got away after the 48 hours, it’d be hard to get warrant arrest again unless they’ve solid evidence to arrest her. The confession she made is better off as the detective believed that she should be behind bars and paid for the murder crime she committed.

Overall this drama is 9/10 to me because it’s quite engaging and entertaining. I binge-watched it in one-go.

Just wanna say, remember after the spoilers for EG couples released, there’s a rumor of a male contestant told the writer he likes the girl for real and chase the girl after the show, and it’s hinted it’s I Geon? And turned out in the reunion, he did say he call the writer confessed that he likes Go Eun for real so yeah the rumor aligns with the reunion episode and I Geon did ask her out on camera 😆 I hope it’ll work out for them and I think if they indeed dating, they won’t be public about it since I Geon is a rising actor, so it’s a risky move to be open about it now. But if they’re not dating, it’s fine too, they made good connection and show that made our heart flutters.

Su Been knew about her trip to NYC and met Sung Hun, only the part of vodka was shocking to him but it’s just Sam messing around, and he knew Sam was just joking and Hee Sun didn’t get wasted or blacked out that night. They’re still young and their deep conversation is about how they could make things work with LDR. Though Hee Sun is now back in Korea for 1 semester, she’ll eventually go back to the States to finish her study so they need to have more open discussion on their communication style. I don’t see how Hee Sun is excessively jealous, most of the time she just joke around. Even after seeing Su Been & Mina Sue paradie date, she’s just smiling and joking about it and didn’t really show any jealousy and mad about the situation.

The dynamic of JJ couple is definitely different as they’re lowkey and more matured with their age. Plus, they don’t have issue with thousand miles away distance and timezone difference, so they’re more stable after going out from inferno.

I read one comment that said it’s due copyright issue of Overdrive song, so Netflix didn’t want to purchase the usage right. Maybe the cost is different when it comes to different channel, so they only put it on YT from the production company.

I don’t know how many times I’ve to provide feedback to iQIYi on their annoying big-ass subtitles on app and song subtitles that took half of the screen when there are also dialogue subtitles. It even covered the characters’ facial expression. What’s the point being SVIP on this app if I’ve to rewatch on illegal website for better experience. Ughh

Yes, it’s 2D1N, they all bring their luggage and they show the house for girls and boys. There’s a conversation Hyun Jae saying something like they (Hyun Jae & Sung Hun) usually sleep at 10 and then Su Been asked who wants to sleep with him? And Hee Sun teased about it due to his footage with Min Gee and Min Gee was like “both of you sleep together”. There’s another video on YT of Hee Sun & Hyun Jae did aegyo overdrive challenge and we can see Seung Il is already in his pyjama and Go Eun already changed to pink hoodie with pyjama pants.

The reason why the reunion episode remove the contestants’ reaction from ep 11 & 12 is because they probably had different editing and screening that further showed Mina Sue’s antics and Min Gee & Seung Il moments. Mina Sue probaly disagreed with her footage furher shown and ask the team to do damage control to reduce the criticism she might be facing. She’s even struggling with Min Gee’s reaction, let alone if public viewers watch it.

Min Gee probably also didn’t want the ring footage to be shown as they’re not real couple and it might affect her getting into relationship irl. So the only thing that they couldn’t edit is the last choice though if she could turn back, she would not say those lines.

The only thing that the production could do is to re-edit the last two episodes since the screening happened 1 month before the official release. This is why we feel that it’s so rushed and the editing is so choppy and messy for the finale and viewers are confused with the shift in tone and thought we skipped something.

A moment of appreciation of the bromance and bestie formed between Hyun Jae & Sung Hun. They’re both the chaotic inferno boys. When Sung Hun tried the burnt food, his reaction was so funny when he said we can’t eat this, he’s like nuh-uh.

I think he would rather pay with his own money to order food than eating those burnt shit. 😂😂

Also, when did she not tell Su Been about her trip to NYC? Others assume Su Been didn’t know and he clarified that he knows about the trip and he expected that she went for drinks with her friends. She asked how did he know about it? He replied to her when she said she had headache. Yes, he’s jealous but more of reason that Sam could meet up with her in the States when he couldn’t and it felt like Sam knew that side of her that she could drink vodka when he didn’t. He’s being cold because of the situation but then he did say he knows Sam was just messing around and there’s nothing to apologize when she apologized.

The moment Jae Jin said he feels that his private life is shown to public, that’s the moment I knew Netflix won’t show much of them as couple in the reunion as they want to keep their life private. Even PD-nim said on the interview that there are real couples after the show, one is okay to be public (Hee Sun & Su Been) and one prefers to be keep it private (Jae Jin & Joo Young), that’s why we’ve more screen time of Hee Sun & Su Been. They seem like walking on eggshells with each other is because they had LDR for 6 months with ups and downs almost on the verge of call it off but they fought it through, and Hee Sun literally just got back 4 days before the trip (confirmed by Ha Eun when Joo Young was shocked to see Hee Sun) and the day before the trip was their filming for pre-release screening. They didn’t have time to have the deep conversation face to face when she’s back. It’s a normal conversation between couple as they’re just trying to find the right words to express their feelings and be more understanding of each other.

I wish the episodes are longer.
I want to watch their reaction of Hee Sun x Sung Hun paradise date and their talk when Hee Sun cried.

I wanna watch them playing the cup game and hanging out when they first got to the villa (Min Gee & Su Been playing baseball catch and Hyun Jae just watched them from balcony)

I also wanna watch the chaos downstairs when Hyun Jae, Joo Young & Go Eun danced and had fun karaoke. More on the group interaction and just them hanging out together. I also wanna see next day clip in the morning before they say goodbye to each other and depart.

Why make the episodes so short especially ep 5 & 6 when their trip was for 2 days and 1 night.

I could feel his gay vibe on his first paradise trip with Min Gee and made a comment about this in the beginning , but since the couple fans deny it and ship them, I thought I was wrong and probably he’s just metro and omega guy when the fans insisted that he likes her. Oh well…

I Geon came to inferno on Day 4, mind you they only had 6 days to connect. After the paradise date, I Geon thought he’s more into Ye Jin so he went and talk to her and Go Eun thought he’s into Ye Jin, so she went back to Sung Min, the guy she’s interested in that moment and she told I Geon about it. Then she went to paradise with Hyun Woo to get to know him. After she came back, Sung Min immediately called her to have a talk because he’s afraid he’d lose his chance since Sung Min & I Geon had bed talk and I Geon is leaning towards Go Eun instead of Ye Jin. Both of them literally only had max 3-4 days of interaction, so it’s normal to be confused and not sure of her feelings and chose the safe option which she thought she’s more interested in Sung Min. They went on couple of dates after the show but it didn’t work out and the producer also told them not to contact too much because it’d provide spoiler for the show so they naturally drifted away. I don’t get the backlash towards Go Eun’s decision because she made that decision thinking it’s the best for her in that situation.

Hee Sun & Su Been - they only had 5 dates within a month that Hee Sun was still in Korea, then she went back to the States. In ep 5, Ha Eun mentioned it to Joo Young that Hee Sun just came back 4 days ago. A day before their trip, it’s the screening time for group in ep 1. So, Hee Sun literally just got back in Korea, that’s why they glued with each other.

I Geon & Go Eun - They like each other but they still have reservations. The mutual friend played a huge role on their decision back in SI which fans speculate either that mutual friend is Go Eun’s ex or that the mutual friend is Go Eun’s best friend’s ex. She also has doubt because he’s an actor so she couldn’t tell in SI if he’s acting or being sincere, while he also thought that she’s not sincere when she chose Sung Min over him. I Geon also said he didn’t contact any of the contestants after the filming which kinda aligns with his personality and he came late so probably he didn’t really feel the need to keep contact with them. I take it both of them just brushed it off thinking they’re not into each other and tried to move on and when they watched the show, they realized they’ve feelings for each other and finally after beating around the bush, they made plans to go out and to give their relationship a try. Whether or not they become a couple after that, it’s up to them.

Reasons I believe why Netflix make the reunion:
1. The contestants are more genuine this season on their feelings and intention. Some of them truly seek connection and love, so real couples form.
2. It’s to beat the allegations that the show is scripted and contestants joined purely for fame, nothing else when it’s not the case for this season.
3. I Geon told the writer that he likes Go Eun for real, so probably the production team just wanna make it happen for both of them — to show them how they looked at each other and how the miscommunication happened between them.
4. Damage control for Mina Sue. They know that viewers would hate her for her actions in SI, so with her apologizing to other contestants and the talk between Min Gee & Mina Sue would soothe things out.
5. A closure to fans on their EG couples. Now we understand why they cut Min Gee & Seung Il moments in the last 2 episodes and also focus more on Go Eun & I Geon.

Mina Sue fans really hang up on their ship and failed to see how many times Su Been is honest with his feelings. He even said in front of everyone during the pre-release screening that he didn’t think about Mina after his paradise date with Hee Sun. And be fr, he’s seen how Mina talked bad about the girls behind their back, how she treated Seung Il during their paradise date and how she’s being back and forth during her conversation with Min Gee, he wouldn’t want date that kind of person and he said it himself he didn’t like dating a person who’s back and forth.

Yup, I can see that he’s being cautious between following his logical brain on the realistic view vs his heart.
