In the dramas of Zhang Linghe, he often gets overshadowed not because he lacks talent, but mainly due to how his…
As ZLH fan and I’ve been watching his dramas a lot, I actually prefer his character over others in all his drama. Not everyone like twisted, cold and complex character. In MJTY, I support Gong Zi Yu from the beginning until the end and kinda pissed at Gong Shang Jue at first. His character development from spoiled brat to strategist leader, I love it.
On this drama, not even once I find Qi Min or Sui Yuanqing attractive. I was mostly disgusted with their scenes and I wanted less of Qi Min’s scene with YQQ because I couldn’t take it. I didn’t even want him to have any redemption arc. Xie Zheng’s character had his cold, obsessive and cruel moments. When he almost killed Advisor Guo just because he drugged Changyu, I was shocked. The sweet Yan Zheng that we knew was not there that time. When he chased after Sui Yuanqing though he already threw an arrow at him, and then still pissed at his remarks about CY. He also forcefully kissed her during their ‘break up’ and pissed off whenever she mentioned about divorce. Xie Zheng’s character is definitely not a green flag, probably yellow flag. When he said to Changyu “as long as I’m alive, you’ll forever be mine” that line threw some viewers off like wth he’s almost being like that disgusting obsessed Qi Min.
Everyone has their own perspectives, but ZLH won’t be as popular as he is right now if his characters or dramas didn’t make any impact or being ‘overshadowed’ by other characters.
Guyss cy killing lord changxin because she was overwhelmed by mandis death and she had to help xz win the battle…
Exactly! Xie Zheng left to protect Lucheng city for greater cause. She saw Lord Changxin was pursuing him, so she was like not on my watch. She’s kinda reckless but I agree it’s driven by emotion because of Man Di’s death and she wants to revenge Yuanqing. Yuanqing already left, so she her target changed to Lord Changxin.
I love it when we have powerful couple who would protect each other and treat each other as equal. When Xie Zheng said he knew Chang Yu would come and then slightly grin when he saw her holding the two blades he forged for her, both of them are so hot and sexy! 🔥
Marquis Wu’An is already a great hero to the nation, he didn’t need to prove himself at the battlefield.
If some viewers wonder why the screentime of intense battlefield goes to FL, it’s because she has to use extra her strength, her brain and skill to defeat the enemy. She’s not an experienced warrior. It won’t be believable if she could kill both Shi Hu and Lord Changxin easily without much struggle. Her fighting skill has always been step by step, little by little and butchered them to make them weak first. It’s different with Xie Zheng who could just kill others, like Shi Yue easily without much struggle.
Ironically it was in the book. It is meant to show the difference of other females and our Changyu
I noticed it when he mentioned about flower, but it’s easily could be removed in the drama because it’s not that important to get his pov of the difference of other females to Changyu.
Why are they wasting time with the annoying scene between Yuanqing and that random illegitimate daughter of Lord CX’s relative? So unnecessary. The screentime could’ve given to better plot scene such as YQQ escape or XZ & FCY fighting together during the battlefield.
Why did they want to keep Yuanqing alive but aims to kill his father only? Isnt Lord changxin is is much more…
Xie Zheng wants Yuanqing to be alive because he promised Changyu that he would give him to her. It’s Changyu’s revenge. Lord Changxin was more important to win the war, so when XZ went to the city as Lord CX said they already infiltrated the city, Lord CX was also chasing XZ but got intercepted by Changyu. When he died, they won the war but it’s too late for General He as the troops already entered the fortress.
Did the mountain bandit girl who foreshadowed that the Sui residence can get easily flooded be still alive? I…
I had the same question too, like was she still in the Sui mansion in Baxia during the flood? I think she’ll be another obstacle for our main cp in the next few eps.
I just love the details of Changyu and Shi Hu battle. She’s strong and small, but she could defeat him because she’s clever that she cut his armor every step, used the wood fire to disrupt his vision, cut his arm & legs here and there to make him weak, and then used his hammer to finish him after her dagger got damaged. Her dagger was very sharp and it could cut body armor. She’s a worthy of being a Lady Marquis, no one can say anything about her 🙌🏻
Stream slowly don't sacrifice sleep after finishing released episodes thecuriosity gonna kill you😂
Too late, I’m already caught up to ep 28. It’s so addictive that I cannot stop. I didn’t realize this drama has 40 eps, I thought it only has 32-36 eps which there will be express soon. I miscalculated the timing.
I was so busy before this, only now I’ve time to catch up and I started binged-watching this one last 2 days (yes, I sacrified my sleep for this drama) and now I’m half-way through (ep 15). I love every second of it and didn’t feel bored at all with the slowburn relationship. In fact, I love love love it because it feels genuine, warm and soft.
I’m so pissed at Eun Hye for being so immature and conceited. The fact that Seol Ah could still keep her cool and asked if she’s hurt, gosh I could never.
I wonder what happened that made her so angry since they were so closed back then. Probably Eun Hye got closed with Seol Ah’s mom, the kind of motherly love she didn’t get, so she blamed Seol Ah for the fire accident because she lost her mother figure.
It looks like Junbeom either wanted revenge or was told to watch over her after Suho passes away, but he ended…
This seems more plausible because there’s a preview of Su Ho & Jun Beom had a photo together. Maybe the NGO worker knew something so he orchestrated the accident to kill the worker to prevent him from telling their history.
The worker only said that Su Ho is dead because of Seol Ah, but he didn’t say that Seol Ah killed Su Ho and it didn’t make any sense too for her to kill him as he’s in Syria. So it could be either: Jun Beom & Su Ho had argument related to Seol Ah and accidentally killed him, or Seol Ah & Su Ho had a fight or they broke up and that made Su Ho devastated and not in the right mind causing him to be careless and got into the accident.
I don’t understand the theory on social media saying Jun Beom is actually Su Ho after plastic surgery. If that’s the case, how come the staff at the NGO knew both of them? And it’d be crazy if that’s true because why would he wanna make his own ex miserable when she thought he’s dead?
The ending of ep 4 made me cry for her. I knew it that she’s innocent from ep 1.
My guess so far, I may be wrong but let’s see how the story unfolds: - That ahjumma president might had something to do with her parents’ death. - Her first ex-boyfriend might had died naturally during the humanitarian volunteer which caused her depression and mental health because all of her loved ones die - She went to seek help with psychiatrist, but turned out the doctor was a scumbag who took advantage of her. The doctor might be dead because of Kim Yun Ji or Seol Ah’s stalker. - Her 3rd ex-boyfriend died because of the stalker, that’s for sure. - Her stalker might had killed Yun Ji because she’s a nuisance, or Seol Ah’s friend the bar owner knew about Yun Ji’s stalking and asked her to stop and accidentally pushed her (there’s a scene when the bar owner confronted Yun Ji) or Yun Ji might commit suicide because she wanted to trap Seol Ah as a murderer since she got no man anymore, both doctor and chef already died, so it’s her last revenge since she knew about Woo Seok, insurance investigator who would not stop investigating. - Her stalker could be the CEO or her childhood friend (the photographer), but I’m somehow more inclinded towards her childhood friend because he’s there when her ex-bf died drowning from the yacht. It might just be a plot twist since now it seems like the CEO is just an obssessed dude who likes her.
god forbid a character has some actual development before.....🙄🙄
well he’s annoying now and acts superior that his hunch is always right. There will be character development, sure, but yeah I don’t like how he behaves now, it’s borderline harassing and stalking. I’ll not be surprised if his sister was indeed got into accident and not a planned murder 🤷🏻♀️
