I don’t understand why people complain about ep 11 because I think it’s still entertaining and progressing well? The progress of Jang Uk “forced” training to become powerful mage, the progress of Jin Mu’s evil plan and even we understand better now the prophecy birth of Jang Uk — and Jin Bu Yeon.
Like I said on my preview's comments especially last two episodes. That this two couldn't end up together. He…
While I agree that Yumi chose herself and she acknowledged she fell out of love, I don’t agree on Ba Bi messed up the relationship again. It’s normal when you don’t care about someone anymore, you just don’t remember it because the person’s presence in your life doesn’t matter anymore. He finally remembered when he saw the missed call and he deleted it. The reason for the break up is not because Yu Mi was jealous or Ba Bi was cheating on her by still saving Da Eun’s number, it’s because she felt indifferent towards it.
Ep14 - “An Ordinary Evil” — what a fitting title for the guy who ignore a child asking for help. “What…
Ikr and it’s actually a powerful message to me to remind the society that we cannot just mind our own business all the time. A little concern of what’s happening around you can save other person’s live who might be in trouble. Be nice
I guess u haven't read the webtoon..even i have not ..but most viewers are dissappointed bcuz the webtoon was…
I don’t read the webtoon, and I know about SSR, but I’m still satisfied with the ending because it gives us the viewers to conclude it in our own interpretation. Love cell is back and it gives a question why is she back, is it because of Ba Bi, Woong or someone else? And we see that SSR is appearing in her life. If he’s just a colleague, why would they include him in the narrative in the drama? So as a drama viewer, we know we can also conclude that it might be a new fresh love for Yumi.
Since it’s adaptation, not everything has to be going as the webtoon, just like how True Beauty changed the story as well.
Aaahh Yumi’s Cells S2 is giving me all sorts of emotions. I’m team Ba Bi, but I somehow understand her action when there’s no love anymore. I feel so sad for Ba Bi, but sometimes love is something we don’t have control of, just like the narrative in the drama. I’m just glad that Yu Mi actually acknowledged that it’s Ba Bi who helped and inspired her to become a writer. I’m also glad that Woong played a huge role supporting her as well and she acknowledged it. She has learned and gained a lot from the past two relationships that she had because both of them are nice guys with their own flaws and not a jerk like her ex boyfriend before Woong.
I also don’t mind if they don’t continue with S3 because I know whatever the outcome is, Yu Mi will be happy and find her true love since Love cell is back although I would miss Yumi’s Cells for sure.
Side note: I don’t like it when people compare the drama with webtoon, because some people like me don’t read the webtoon. As a drama viewer, I’m attached to Ba Bi’s affection, love and tenderness. Also, Ba Bi doesn’t end up with Da Eun in a drama, so he’s not a jerk to me.
As I was watching ep 13 I felt like I wanted to cry. Seeing Babi's dad approve of Yumi and actually end up liking…
This! I knew the spoiler already so that’s why the whole time I was watching ep 13, I felt sad. Sad for Ba Bi’s dad that he already opened up to Yu Mi. Sad for Ba Bi as he really cared for Yu Mi. My heart was screaming when Ba Bi took care of Yu Mi, like I felt his love. When they were so excited talking about the wedding, I was so sad because I knew it’s not gonna happen. And I was so sad for Ba Bi when he realized the “small” mistake of not deleting Da Eun’s number that he didn’t even remember would bring to the break up.
I couldn’t even bring myself to watch the final episode because I feel so bad towards Ba Bi. 😭 If only they show Ba Bi’s cells more, I think more viewers would understand him and feel sorry towards him.
I haven’t watched last episode, but am I the only one who doesn’t understand the break up? Like why feeling calm is a bad thing? I thought it’s because you trust that person enough that’s why you feel calm and confident?
They have an older daughter? Lol wow, they barely mention her.
Probably due to the timeline purpose. Like Ra El’s family incident happened 13 years ago, and that was roughly the time KYG and HSR got married, so it’d be weird if they only have a 5 y/o daughter, hence the writer makes the couple have 2 daughters instead. But the writer made it as if she’s invincible. Even KYG left his wealth to Da Bi only 💀

Apparently they do and it’s been inconsistent in the story, they only occasionally talked about her and if you see their family photo in the house, they have two kids. The eldest daughter is studying abroad. But KYG keeps calling So Ra, Da Bi omma instead of the eldest daughter’s name which is weird 😌
Imagine So Ra and Yoon Gyeum’s eldest daughter comes home, not knowing anything and sees her family got destroyed by Ra El, and then she plans her own revenge to Ra El. 💀
This drama was solid 9-9.5 to me in the beginning, but it turned kinda messy with the romance plot and weird ending, so it’s 8.5/10 which is kind enough because of the acting of the 2 FLs.
I’m kinda disappointed that KYG decided to kill himself to put an end to it, it feels like an easy way out. Yknow he could just pay for his crime and he might be pardoned as he already paid the settlement and he wasn’t directly involved with the past crime, he might be just an accomplice and as for the KJC murder, it could be claimed as self defense. I know the writer made it seem like he sacrifice himself so that Ra El found her peace and eased her anger, and I know he’s unstable with so many things happened around him, but killing himself and So Ra to stop everything seems odd since he loves her daughter and Ra El so much. And he killed himself in front of Ra El…..I find this so weird that it’s just doesn’t make any sense to me.
LOL at the people here being mad that she didn't love Eun Pyung and end up with him, their only only reason for…
Another annoying comment that thinks “look” is everything and that’s the only reason for supporting one’s character. KYG character was problematic and toxic at first although he did redeem himself at the end (and I respect him for that) but throughout the story, he had lack of expressions and no chemistry with FL to the point I was confused when Ra El actually loved him for real. I thought he’s just a tool for revenge to her. Not sure the issue is with the actor or director, but I couldn’t feel his character at all although he had bad childhood and was involved in the situation because of his wife and in laws. I could symphatize So Ra better although she’s a villain because she has better expressions. KYG has a numb personality/ stoic character, but that doesn’t mean he has to look straight and like some people said constipated all the time. My take is that PBE didn’t nail the complex character of KYG which I find it disappointing because this could be a great tragic/forbidden/toxic love story if PBE delivers the complexity of KYG character with layers /subtle of expression to make us viewers understand him better, to make us feel sorry at him, to make us feel the passion of his love towards Ra El, but none of it was truly delivered which is why some people think that the love storyline here is a joke.
I love how this drama is questioning people’s morals and ethics, right or wrong depending on how we see things.
