Title Dear X
it's just so easy to blame it all to Junseo coz the FL is the sociopath.. lol..like when people have to learn…
No one is blaming Jun Seo, but he’s not right on this whole situation either. He thought he’s doing Ah Jin a favor all the while and thought that he knows what’s best for Ah Jin, but he didn’t. Yes, both of them are broken and traumatized due to their childhood upbringing.

"Inkang didn’t commit suicide. That new guy killed him."So he didn’t kill Inkang while they were together,…
He has his eyes on Ah Jin, but when he encountered her at the traffic light after her birthday celebration might trigger his obsession as he had a close look on her eyes and he knows that she’s sociopath just like him. So the circumstances kinda fit for this speculation because In Gang threw away all the pills and alchohol, he seems to try to move on, but then he killed himself at the bathtub by cutting himself? And when Ah Jin broke up with In Gang, the new guy had people to follow her from the apartment? It’s kinda suspicious. If he killed In Gang earlier on, it would create suspicion for a foul play, but now since he broke up and lost his grandmother, suicide seems to be fit in.

Title Dear X Spoiler
I kinda understand why people feel irritated towards Jun Seo, because I’m feeling the same after ep 7 & 8. He always said that he wants Ah Jin to live a normal life and happy, which she’s actually slowly having it with In Gang’s family. She cut contact with him for a year and he knows nothing about her current life, but in his mind, she’s always this little demon who’s gonna ruin In Gang’s life and his family. Ah Jin was pissed when Jun Seo came back and trapped her to be the FL, and he’s reminding her of her deadline of one year as she went over a year, then acted like he’s giving her way out to break up with In Gang.

She knows what Jun Seo thinks of her, and she’s someone who’s ego and full of pride, that’s why she doesn’t feel like she needs to explain to him what happened because no matter if she’s telling the truth, Jun Seo won’t believe her, so what’s the point? I totally get Jae Oh when he punched Jun Seo for not believing Ah Jin.

While Ah Jin is a sociopath, she never actually directly hurt anyone innocent. Even when she met ahjussi Choi, she’s not running away and told In Gang’s grandmother that she used to work at the cafe. She asked Jae Oh to observe him from afar, and she didn’t even react immediately to cause him any harm because he’s innocent. If she’s psycho, she might just ask someone to kill him because he might be a problem to her later.

Ah Jin might not feel the same love as In Gang felt about her, but she shed tears for him and if she doesn’t have any humanity in her at all, she wouldn’t care about In Gang’s death and wouldn’t be bother to go to In Gang’s apartment to show him last respect. She’s cruel to him during break up, mixing truth and lie to make him hate her so that he accepted the break up, but it’s never her intention to drive him to death. She stayed because of grandma and now that she’s dead, she lost that little hope and it was mix of anger and remorse when she broke up with In Gang. If she didn’t even care about In Gang at all, she would’ve immediately left him, but she didn’t at first even when the reporter called her, she said she’s mourning and cut him off. She still went to In Gang’s apartment and took care of him. It’s the time when the news of their “marriage” came out and when the director didn’t want to pick her that triggered her to break up and when In Gang thought of retiring without actually discussing with her. It’s kinda selfish of him doing that tho.

And Jun Seo, as usual, just stormed at her and pinned In Gang’s death on her and thought that Ah Jin could be “saved” if only his mother apologized. I also laughed with Ah Jin when his mother apologized, because we all know that she’s ratchet. Jun Seo thought he always knows her, but he doesn’t when he’s thinking that Ah Jin is capable of murdering grandma and I hate him for that.

The parallel scenes of Ah Jin seeing the “mother figure” fell down the stairs. The fact that she didn’t call for help when it’s her own mother but she did for grandma should be the clear answer of how she sees grandma.

But it’s kinda scary because she’s becoming darker after the death of grandma.

Title Dear X Spoiler
in the earlier episodes it seemed like ingang was just another way for her to make money, she was even okay with…
She did have a soft spot for In Gang, that’s why whenever In Gang dated and broke up, she supported him. It’s a bad PR for In Gang to date Ah Jin, but since In Gang asked her to support, she eventually gave in.

When Jun Seo invested and supported Ah Jin, requested her to be the FL of his novel adaptation, she’s like In Gang is not like any other actors, she sees him as a brother. She sees Jun Seo as someone who’s interested in Ah Jin and she doesn’t want Jun Seo to be in the way of In Gang’s happiness.

She’s okay with Ah Jin breaking up with him at first is because the deal with the director will bring more money and job to her company. She didn’t agree of In Gang retiring and wanting to get married. When they finally broke up, she went to comfort him and told him Ah Jin’s contract is ending soon, so she wouldn’t renew it, so they wouldn’t be awkward to be in the same company. Now that In Gang is dead, with Ah Jin’s receiving backlash and her contract ending soon, of course she wanted to end Ah Jin’s career because in her pov, Ah Jin is disposable as she has bad PR now, then Ah Jin can’t even sign with other company if her career is ruined and she just want to channel her remorse of In Gang’s death through Ah Jin and blames her.

i don't get the reason why the director acted like her getting married was bad press, weren't they a well liked…
They just started dating for a year and she’s still young, so it’s not really a time to settle down and have a family. It could also be because of the character of the film might not suit the persona if she’s married. Probably viewers would not be immersed with the character if in the back of the viewers’ mind, she’s getting married irl, so it’s a bad buzz

Jae O trusted Ahjin Just like me. I knew she wouldn't kill her! She felt like more human with her and also she…
Same, I knew that it’s accident like Ah Jin wouldn’t simply kill grandma who treated her like she’s her own child

Ngl though I was a bit disappointed with ahjussi Choi because I thought he’d take revenge (because I want more drama), but the way he takes the whole thing deserves respect. Yes, Ah Jin did play a role on gaslighting the whole situation, but it’s him who made that decision and hit Ah Jin’s dad when he could just called police instead.

In Gang’s death is suspicious to me since he threw away his sleeping pills and alchohol, it seems like he’s strong enough to turn things around.

What if the pyscho CEO did something to In Gang since they followed Ah Jin after she left In Gang’s apartment? I can’t help but wonder about this

A Jin not breaking up after a year might show how good she felt during this period. Maybe she didn’t want to…
She went over a year that’s why Jun Seo said she lied. I think she stayed because of Ingang’s grandmother 😢

Nooo I actually feel bad for Ah Jin, she lost the one person who treats her gently and warmly, just like how parents should treat their child. 😭😭😭

And the way Jae Oh trusts her until the end and Ah Jin really relied on him.

Wow all of sudden she magically can fix the destiny book when ‘LCH’ asked her to do it, while DFCQ had been asking her to do it for a long time. She also gave away the bracelet that could protect her, like how gullible can you be 😭I’m so tired of FL but I’m still invested in the storyline. If only they make FL is a little bit clever and less speaking like a baby, I would actually enjoy this more 🫠
