I can understand Murong Yao. It would be difficult not to hate them after everything he and his dad went through.…
It’s kinda sad because it’s a big misunderstanding. Like I understand how Yao felt, but it’s not Sui Ge’s fault. And imagine if Sui Ge actually died that time, Murong’s whole family would face death row and his dad couldn’t even save his son. So I think his dad just did whatever he could for the best outcome.
Both them were young to understand. This whole shitty situation is because of His Majesty’s decision afterwards. But I’m not surprised if that whole scene was plotted by Prime Minister Zhuang, maybe he wanted to make Feng and Murong families to be drifted apart since he knows that Murong is loyal to Feng.
Crazy how this drama wasn’t on my radar at all since I didn’t see any promotion of this drama. I just tuned in since it’s highlighted in iQiyi banner, and I just went for it without any expectation. In the beginning, I was like okay…watchable, not the kind of drama that made you hooked in the first two episodes but it kept you curious enough to know how the story unfolds, then it gets better and better each episode! The story just keeps on going up so far 📈 No wonder the rating is also slowly increasing
I’m having a hard time believing that SHM has always loved XY when he corrected YYM saying he has fallen for her again. Can we have at least a bit of his POV during the marriage? or at least some believable reason why he didn’t believe that she actually loves him? Or maybe him being confused and restrained himself from falling for her because he thought that she’s a fraud? Give us something.
SHM being loser & shameless and courting/chasing XY is all fun and cute, but I need more emotional content for them to talk it out and resolve their issue.
i hate when a girl being stupid bc of so-called-love, ps. FXY. She deserves a big slap to force her brain working!i…
for a second, I thought you’re talking about our girl, Yi Xiao 😆and I was like huh? what did she do to deserve a big slap? Their initial is almost similar.
😂 What? Lin Tao is a classic abusive man. Lin Tao's family harassed Qiao Lin from the beginning of the show…
It’s in the earlier scene when she got out from police station. The male customer sexual harrassed her by forcing her to come with him and she punched him or something (can’t remember) but she got arrested instead because she used violence to defend herself. Instead of being understanding and defending QL, Lin Tao just sat there listening to his parents condemned her. You don’t want to be with a man who cannot protect and stand up for you. We never know if she “never” truly loved him because the story wasn’t about them, so the writer didn’t really have to give them backstory, but all I can see is that she fell out of love and the incident + the financial decision made without her was her last straw after probably multiple verbal abuse from the inlaws and power play by LT. He didn’t see her as equal — we could see this when he said she needs his permission to breakup and how he belittled her for wanting to pursue her study, that’s how low he thought of her.
She’s not cheating. She didn’t even contact her first love/crush during the relationship. They reunited by chance when she moved to the city, and she’s single by the time she’s flirting with YYM.
The fact that I’ve to pause to control my anger towards Princess Xiyang when she’s mad that Feng Suige made Xia Jing Shi marry into their family. Gosh I wish I can slap someone on screen because what an ungrateful lil b*tch. She needs a serious wake up call from her fantasy. She really thinks that she’ll lead a happy life with the prince away from her family who has been protecting her, and staying in the kingdom of enemy. Istg if she suffers after this during her marriage witht the prince, I won’t be feeling sorry at all towards her because girl asks for it!! 😤
I thought it’d be hard for me as viewer to accept SHM after what he did to XY, but the scriptwriter is good for making him look like a loser and he’s being shameless to get back with Yan. Love that both of them are actually being themselves now, no more mask and trying to look “perfect.” Turned out they’re still full of chemistry even when they’re no longer scheming with each other.
I dont get why she thinks just because she had a crush on someone that person is expected to like her back immediately.
Because all her life, she’s pampered by her royal family family and she’s brought up by her stepmom, the Empress, who tells her she can get anything she wants because she’s a princess. So she feels entitled.
I’m on ep 9 — Princess Xiyang is really getting on my nerves on her insecurities of her nonexistent “affectionate” relationship with Prince of Zhennan. 🙄

The way he punches people is so satisfying. When he punched Wei Ran & Mu Ying…chef’s kiss. Now we’ll get him punching Prime Minister Zhuang 🙌🏻
