This rumor is not true~ I heard that the ending will be happy (the novel's ending is happy). Also the modern world filming bts we have seen online is actually something like a special episode that we can only watch if it reaches 6 million votes or something... there is more information in the spoiler discussion i think~

The emperor is trying to force him to either divorce Fu Rong or marry a legal first wife (this idea was supported by Xu Ping ugh i hate him). It is not yet shown, but I heard from viewers in China that Xu Jin will not marry anyone else. Fu Rong will become his official wife <3

agree! I didn't expect to like Xu Jin as much as I did because I started watcing this drama because of ZZH and JJY, but Xu Jin's character is so dreamy :( he's an upright man that loves his wife very much. It makes me sad to think that men like him in those ancient times lack in power just like what we're seeing now. Although he is a prince, he has no choice but to follow the commands of his dumb emperor father.

Xu Jin and Fu Rong's married life has been so fluffy it makes my heart melt. Fu Rong is like a pampered princess who doesn't want to admit she misses Xu Jin while Xu Jin knows just how much she misses him and pampers her some more AHHHHHHHHHHHHH they're so cute. I'm so in love with how Xu Jin quielty supports her especially that scene where he sits on another table to do his work while she was doing her own work.

On the other hand, Fu Rong is starting to grow on me... I was angry at her for trying to stab Xu Jin on their wedding night, but like I mentioned in a comment I made before, I think her actions kind of made sense. It didn't matter if Xu Jin was sincere to her or not because we as viewers know that Xu Jin is obviously sincere to her but she doesn't know this, after all she just met him. They have a lot of growth to go through and I'm glad they've been doing so well in the past episodes.

Fu Rong is like those wives that always get annoyed and sad when her husband has to leave for work, but is actually really worried they would get hurt. I find it so cute when Fu Rong would ask Xu Jin again and again if he was hurt and glare at him until he told the truth XD Xu Jin was right... HE had a lionness at home HAHAHA

ALSO DIDN'T YOU GUYS FIND THAT SHOE THING THEY DID SO CUTE? When Xu Jin spoke into his shoe and asked her to listen to it LMAO. Fu Rong getting along with her mother-in-law is the content I didn't know I needed~ Also I read a comment somewhere that Xu Jin's mom was a bit over the top with her method because FU Rong almost killed herself but I think that's not true! I think Dr. Ge wasn't aware Fu ROng would read about the blood transfusion method that's why he was so shaken when she said she could give her blood LMAO at least she proved herself, although it went wrong HSAHH it did prove to Xu Jin that Fu Rong has feelings for him that are genuine <33

Actually true. The emperor is so dumb. Xu Jin is such an amazing and loyal son. You would think he would realize that he only loves Fu Rong, but noooooooooooooo he wants him to marry others just like him ugh

I totally agree! Xu Ping honestly doesn't have any claim on Fu Rong just because she's his childhood friend. He never even confessed to her or asked her if she liked him. He's just assuming that she's his even though Xu Jin has that right not only because he's her husband, but also because he has treated her sincerely since the very start!

If I remember correctly.... they slept together after their second wedding in LOYX right? Also what I meant is that in TBARP Fu Rong and Xu Jin have so many cute scenes as a married couple! I love the way Xu Jin just silently supports Fu Rong in her business even if it's not conventional as a royal and how Fu Rong always worries about Xu Jin and tries to make his relationship w his mother better <33

ALSO FUN FACT these are points i found interesting from the novel because it's super different from the drama:
1) Xu Jin marries Fu Rong after she divorces her first husband (Marquis Xindu- who is a very nice guy in the novel btw) because he has this weird thing where he cant touch women. But he found that Fu Rong is the only one he can touch and he falls in love with her. After he is reborn, he actively goes after Fu Rong when she is only 14 years old (for context: Fu Rong was 21 in the original timeline where Xu Jin is her second Husband. When Xu Jin is reborn, he is 18 years old and Fu Rong is 14). He actively chases her to make sure she doesnt marry anyone else but him HAHAHA
2) The scar Fu Rong has in her forehead from the disease she and her brother got in the drama also happened in the novel. What I find hilarious is that Fu Rong's character is super conscious of her beauty. She learned that in the future because she peeled the scab off, she got a scar which is why she has a forehead marking. When she was reborn, she trued her best not to peel it bo matter what. When Xu Jin saw that her scab was almost healed, he was unhappy that Fu Rong didn't peel it off and have a marking like before so he secretly peeled it while she eas asleep LOL so Fu Ring ended up having to wear a forhead marking anyway.
3) Liu Ruyi was never Fu Rong's master and they weren't that close until she was saved by Ruyi from almost getting raped.
4) Duke of An, Xu Ping wasn't a villain.... He was just a side character LOL but Fu Rong did want to briefly marry him.
5) Cui Wan (princess of Xihe in the drama) was actually way worse in the novel because she actively tried to get married to Xu Jin using despicable tactics >.< not like the child's play of Cui Wan in the drama lol
6) Xu Jin gets paddled by the emperor as punishment because he refused to take a wife other than Fu Rong. He was bedridden for a few months...
7) Xu Jin and Fu Rong have a child together <33

If you guys have been liking my spoilers im sorry to say i wont be commemting until next week HAHAHA i dont have the confidence to watch tomorrows episodes without the new episodes ready D:

Actually it was also mentioned in their early synopsis that fu rong and xu jin would live happily together which is on of the reasons i watched this drama! They cut the synopsis in half when the release date got nearer... probably to scare the viewers to staying tuned hahaha all i cam say is their marketing strategies really worked because all of us are tuning in every week ;)

The last episode for chinese viewers air tomorrow! I reckon there is already fluff happening in the episodes today uwu also I believe they will make the ending happy first and foremost because the novel explicitly had a happy ending unlike poison geniu consort where LOYX was based from ;)

oh my goodness im only 9 minutes into the new episode and im already teary eyed because of the way they are portraying fur rong and xu jin's married life <33 definitely better and more intimate than in LOYX

So I have decided to watch only until episode 28 tonight. I will not be watching tomorrow because of the heartbreak and will wait until nov. 13 to continue ?

OMG IM SO SAD SO FU RONG ALREADY KNOWS WHAT XU JIN HAS TO DO TO GET THE IMPERIAL GUARDS BACK? SO SHE HAS THIS VACATION WITH HIM FOR THE LAST TIME AND DIVORCES HIM AFTER :( IM SO SAD UAIWJKFEDGVFBALJ

AT LEAST WE HAVE A GIST OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN. IM QUITE EXCITED TO SEE FU RONG FIND OUT THAT XU PING IS AN ASSHOLE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THERES THAT SCENE IN THE OPENING SONG WHERE SHE POINTS XU JIN'S FAN AT HIM!! IM EXCITED FOR FU RONG TO FIND OUT JUST HOW DIRTY DUKE AN IS. I WOULD HAVE RESPECTED HIM MORE IF HE FOUGHT FACE TO FACE WITH XU JIN BUT HE'S JUST USING BASE TACTICS LIKE CONVINCING THE EMPEROR TO MAKE XU JIN MARRY AN OFFICIAL WIFE.

I HATE HIM HE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE A SECOND MALE LEAD. HE'S LITERALLY A VILLAIN! NOT EVEN HIS LOVE FOR FU RONG REDEEMS HIM. HE KEEPS CLAIMING THAT THE THINGS HE DOES ARE FOR HER BUT HE HAS HIS OWN AGENDA BEHIND EVERYTHING HE DOES.

DOES HE THINK FORCING XU JIN TO DIVORCE EHR/MARRY AN OFFICIAL WIFE WILL MAKE HER HAPPY? HE'S SO SELFISH! DOES HE REFUSE TO SEE THE FACT THAT FU RONG IS SO IN LOVE WITH XU JIN AND WHAT HE DID WILL PROBABLY HURT HER? LIKE I SAID HE HAS A MOTIVE FOR EVERYTHING HE DOES THAT HE CLAIMS TO DO FOR FU RONG. HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO HAVE FEELINGS FOR FU RONG AND HE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE HER KINDNESS AND TRUST TOWARDS HIM! SHE TRUSTS HIM SO MUCH BUT HE GOES BEHIND HER BACK TO TRY AND KILL HER HUSBAND. DISGUSTING!!!

I'VE NEVER HATED A SECOND LEAD AS MUCH AS I HATED HIM AHHHH (ON ANOTHER NOTE I DO LOVE HIS CHARACTER IN HIS DRAMA WITH ESTHER YU BUT I ABSOLUTELY HATE HIM HERE)

IM QUITE SURE THAT THE SCENE WERE DUKE AN STABE XU JIN WILL BE IN THE NEXT EPISODE. IM QUITE CONFIDENT XU JIN WILL NEVER MARRY ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT FU RONG I HOPE THE SYNOPSIS FROM BEFORE COMES TRUE WHERE THEY LIVE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER AHHHHHHH I HOPE THEIR DIVORCE DOESNT GET OFFICIATED SO THAT THEY ARE STILL MARRIED IN THE FUTURE EPISODES D:

OH and a theory I had a few comments ago came true!!!!!! aHHHHHH so Fu Rong did somehow become friends with Cui Wan! I knew it! She is annoying but she's not evil. Just like Fu Rong said.... Isn't she kind of cute? AHAHAHA also omg looking forward to that scene where Fu Rong and Cui Wan are running away from assassins and Xu Jin grabs Fu Rong so they can fall off the cliff together. THE MOST IM EXCITED ABOUT IS THEIR HAPPY ENDING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
