Sheng thought that Hua Yong is also alpha but just stronger than him. Sheng had heard of enigma before but just didn’t believe that enigma exists. I think love makes him blind lol he keeps saying Hua Yong is a monster, he has had questions about how Hua Yong can mark him if they are both alpha but just didn’t bother to probe further.

The scenes of the banquet hall are later not in episode 6 if you talking about chapter 36 🫣 I don’t think they are cutting that cause its a major development for both couples and from all the still-cuts/trailers I have seen its there. They did change the settings of the fight scenes in episode 5 from an auction to just SWL office.

Ah if thats how you see it. Maybe if you don’t like people selling ship and just focus on the drama then I can see why. But I don’t think this is specific to BL (I don’t watch thai BL so can’t comment on that) Regular chinese dramas (male/female CP) still sell dating news to bring hypes for the drama or fake kissing during offscreen promotions (plenty of these). For this one I just don’t see the authors forcing them. It is the actors mouth and hands/body lol this is definitely not as popular as the other BL drama right now so there are recent materials of them still interacting/livestreaming together. Other materials were just bts/prerecorded.

Not sure about the uncomfortable questions, can you give an example? The questions I have seen are basically questions that interviewers frequently ask for drama promotions just like this is a regular actor/actress CP. I think it is the natural interactions between the casts and their ambiguous answers that give their shippers the wrong idea. The authors did mention that they are not forcing the actors to promote given how sensitive this can be for them and possibly being banned by the industry, its the actors who decide to do what they are comfortable with.
