finally watched ep 4, loving the story unfolding between the two couples except the childhood story of Hua Yong crying (opposite of novel I don't like lol); storyline check, casting check, setting check but honestly why can't they find a better director and editor sighh the choppy editing is slowly impacting my mood, it just feels so disjointed at times D; they should just make the episode longer instead of jumping so fast between scenes

Yeah honestly me neither lol it was never explained, SWL left the jail thanks to his Omega dad and now that both his dads are united SWL thinks he might even have siblings in the future. Authors never explained why his omega dad killed someone or why he faked his death without telling SWL alpha dad 🤨 maybe some military secrets and his omega dad wants to protect his family by hiding away, P country is some weird place

Honestly not a fan of this chapter and the explanation but basically SWL thought his Omega dad is crazily in love with his Alpha dad to the point of being submissive and injecting pheromones to increase compatibility whereas his Alpha dad just basically there to satisfy his desires but doesn’t love his Omega dad at all. There is no cheating involved, the truth is opposite, his Alpha dad loves his Omega dad so much that he built a jail for them to be intimate together LOL honestly this is where the novel is weird

Don’t remember the scar part so maybe thats for the drama only or minor details in the novel and I missed it while reading.

Its in the extra section chapter 93. SWL dislikes Omegas because he thought all Omegas would be like his Omega dad who would shamefully become a “sex toy” for the almighty Alphas even if there is no love involved because of Omegas temptations during heat cycles (sorry for a lack of better wordings) BUT deep down he still loves his Omega dad just hates that his Omega dad has no gut to refuse his Alpha dad. Anyways the whole thing is just a huge misunderstanding from SWL because both his dads are very much in love with one another and the misunderstanding was because SWL has no sense lol thats why he has no idea Gao Tu has been in love with him all these years

Nope they don’t lose Alpha status so they are still strong ish, just becomes an Omega in some sense like having heat cycle instead of rut and can be impregnated by the Enigma because now he has a uterus that was induced by permanent marking from the Enigma lol fictional but very scientific

Asides from Huang Xing, Li Pei En is actually spot on as Gao Tu. Gao Tu in the novel though not handsome he has a good muscular body just dark skin and not the pretty boy type like Hua Yong. They said its uncommon for Omega to have body like him so maybe thats why they added that shower scene, not many Gao Tu scenes in the novel :( Also the sad vibe that Li Pei En gives is exactly the Gao Tu the authors describe. Thats why even though Li Pei En auditioned for the role of Sheng Shao You but the authors picked him for Gao Tu.

1. In the novel, it mentions that Hua Yong wanted his company to be successful before he can invest all his time into his Mr. Sheng. But also because he knows his Mr. Sheng preference as a mighty Alpha S and he wants Mr. Sheng to like him and not be submissive to him just because he is stronger as Enigma.
2. Shen Wenlang doesn’t like the scent of Omega because of his upbringings due to his dad who is an Omega. He also hates Omega more once he found out that Gao Tu has been taking days off to sooth his Omega in heat (which is just an excuse by Gao Tu to avoid being discovered that he is an Omega cause his scent is overpowering during heat)

Acting still needs improvements but chemistry is on fire🔥 Huang Jing is the Hua Yong of my heart, just like he walks out of the novel. Im rereading scenes in the novel while waiting for new episode. Can’t believe I get to see a chinese BL series again and ABO on top of that. I used to be so obsessed with Addicted. Glad to see uncensored Chinese BLs again 🥺

I disagree that this drama is the same as other xianxias. It is xianxias because it has elements of magic and the separation of power between human cultivators, immortal and true gods. But thats the elements of xianxias otherwise it would be a historical or modern drama. Other than that, this is just a love/divorced story between wife and husband per the producer has mentioned prior. If there are no misunderstandings between a couple then there will be no angst and no drama for us viewers. There are lighthearted dramas with no misunderstandings but this is not that. The main plot is different from previous xianxia dramas from Bai Lu like TTEOTM, MM. This is only my opinion 😅

I love Bailu in One and Only but not so much Forever and Ever because I feel the story and chemistry lacking in the later part even though the same lead actors were in both parts. Story of Kunning Palace is my favorite Bai Lu drama but thats because I love those kinds of plots and to this day also one of my favorite CPs (ZLH and BL). For this drama, I have to wait and see but so far its not bad, still enjoyable, the plot does play a huge role in making a drama hit or not. I feel like Bai Lu actually has toned down her acting maybe due to the negative comments. She was supposed to be a naive innocent and cheerful Li Qing Yue but I didn’t feel that as much in the first episode. Anyways just want to say everyone to their own cup of tea so judge for yourself :)
