What an oddball of an episode. I expected it to be a healing romance, but they give me more than that. Not even a single misplaced, ugly shot. Cinematography was A lister. It was an experience watching the pilot episode.
This suffers from major editing issue. The transitions were so fast. Its becoming an SBS thing to have bad editing. And having dramas with solid premise but ended up being disappointing in the second half.
Am I the only one who is really pleasantly surprised by Han So Hee's acting? Normally in k-dramas, I find the…
Yes, she really nailed that shy type FL. Same with the Park Eun Bin's in Do You Like Brahms. There is precision even in their body movements. Their facial and body language were so good.
Second episode in and I love everything about this drama, but Jung Sun Ah character Im not really interested in…
It's the writer's fault. For a FL, she's been clearly underused. No backbone. No introduction. She just pops out and that's it. Until episode 2, her character has been unclear on what she is on the story.
I've seen the actress' performance in Mr. Sunshine and I must say she's most suited in this type of role. She had that intimidating and mysterious vibe and unpredictability on her.
I must say the production was so good for a kinda cheap story. The only thing that interest me was the court trial scenes, the rest kinda meh. The lines were unnatural, and the editing was so choppy. Like my eyes hurt because of the stupid camera switch every time characters are conversing.
The 2nd leads cute romance subplot is well, cute. But pls I need substance. If all their interactions will be about the girl jokingly confessing and the boy ignoring it but smiling lopsidedly, the chemistry will tire out. Give us substance.
And about the Yohan character. Its been a trend. An antihero. We have Mouse, Vincenzo, and Taxi Driver. What will this one offer? Give us something new please.
With the FL, she's been clearly underused. But the actress sure delivered. She's so unpredictable. I'm most curious of her character's backbone on the story.
The music was so dope. The production was good. The actors were doing it. It's the story and dialogues. I hope it lives up to its expectations. Because as of now, its meh.
The break up trope is needed. Sir needs to learn his lesson. During eps 11 & 12, I felt he's kinda abusive to Dam. Sir needs to communicate and sadly, he failed.
With queer main or side characters:
1. Be Melodramatic
2. Mine
3. Run On
4. Love with Flaws
With queer couple cameos:
1. Romance is a Bonus Book
2. Designated Survivor: 60 Days

And I don't know if its the acting, but she acts like a secretary instead of a judge.
