Logical Revenge drama i could accept wholehearltly.

I watched this on the day this drama was released and personally preferred this than their first collaboration. If you are Happy Ending enjoyer, i need to tell you this is not happy ending drama or close your eye and find another things to do.

For the summary, ML is a news anchor and struggling actor, an orphan who lives with his mildly autistic sister. With a terminal illness and little time left, he wants to leave his sister money to survive, so he takes on the FL's job to take revenge of her ex husband. Sharing the plight of a life on the verge of collapse and the lack of family love, and fighting side-by-side, the two quickly developed some positive interactions and a cycle of connection. FL was also a volunteer at the orphanage where the ML and his sister worked.

I have to say, ML's character is really well-developed and his depth of characterization was meticulously written by scriptwriter. Wu Tianhao's character types are becoming increasingly diverse; wearing a white shirt, he is pure, broken, yet resilient despite of his condition. Lin Zixuan proofs her character was not just mere housewife who get revenge for her ex-husband, her character reminds me of the housewife of Boku no Yabai Tsuma. Their chemistry is still strong as the collaboration with different approach,

ML's only thought before was to die quickly to leave some money for his sister, needing cigarettes as painkillers to maintain appearances. But after reuniting with FL, a life force and vague hope he hadn't even realized he possessed were rekindled. When the FL offered him a piece of candy as a gesture of respect, he never lit a cigarette again

The plot even meticulously included the condition of ML lungs in the medical report at the end. . Unlike 90% of short dramas, it doesn't arrange for the ML to be recognized by a wealthy family, with money and medical resources readily available, leading to a happy reversal of fate (the usual formula i really loathe with my soul in duanju).

Maybe because people hate Sad Ending, they rate this lower than previous drama (Yes that drama is phenomenal but i preferred this plot even the videography weren't good as their first collaboration) Short dramas should allow for more real human existence: besides dreams replacing everything with color, there should also be the bitterness of waking up, making people cherish the warmth around them more.

Recommended to watch if you are not mind of not Happy ending drama.

The plot was disjointed

I watched this on Song Yujia marathon drama last year and found out she collaborated with Wang Dao Tie..It's really hard to give a review. I can't say it's good, and I can't say it's bad. The premises was quite good but this drama feel disjointed about ML backstory and FL backstory seems not to be match. Surprisingly, I found Wang Daotie to be much better in the drama. He looks younger in here.

From the ML perspective, FL is too saintly. She always tries to run away, betrays ML's love, and even causes the death of ML's sister. In fact, because of FL's series of actions, you can empathize with the ML and feel sorry for him. But ML is real villain. He's not an undercover agent; he's the head of a criminal organization leader. So, it's not wrong for FL to try everything to escape. ML runs human trafficking organization and FL happened to check on the case. It was quite unfortunate case in this drama.

They used to much darker filter in this drama and it's not looking good.

Even Yu Ling eats up the acting in this drama.

I watched this with blind box drama and i tend to dislike Yu Ling acting from my previous dramas with her but surprisingly she eats up the acting in this drama . The sole reason because Xie Hongxin acting was more subpar compare to her. Her styling in this drama was quite lacking and her hairstylist was suspected to be her antis. For the chemistry, they are good match. So i stay for the chemistry and FL that was kind of rare for me to do that for Yu Ling.

For the summary, FL was transmigrated woman from modern era who had no memory for her past and wake up on ML bed discovers on her wedding night with the ML that she is not a virgin. FL discover she got daughter and want to hide her daughter from ML. I hate ML hypocrisy in this drama while FL found his 'secret' son and FL was right to points out his hypocrisy. FL just want to divorce ML while ML wants to keep her as his wife despite being hateful toward her. The child actors were very well chosen; the little boy looks like the ML, and the little girl looks like FL. The logic in this drama was kinda missing and the villain was quite old school style.

I wont rewatch this drama but i still recommended to hardcore fans of both actor.

This could be perfect drama.

I watched this years ago after watching Li Ruoqi drama with Du Yafei (I cant believe MDL didnt have those drama because it have almost same theme as this drama and i quite like the previous drama than this drama since the ending was okay)

FL remains clear-headed, dedicated, and contract-abiding, convinced ML is a good boss. She even burns incense for the "real" ML and sells her compilation of his preferences to SFL for profit. She believes she deserves love, doesn't want to be a substitute , and has feelings for the ML, but reason prevail and she prefer her dignity.

ML is very confident, self-assured FL loves him deeply. In reality, he's a hypocrite, having long loved by FL but denying it. He dotes on her and always strongly protects her. ML finally believes FL doesn't truly love him. He lowers his pride and starts pursuing her.

ML backstory was quite tragic , growing up in an orphanage, treated like a walking blood bank by his adoptive parents, and his only relative, his sister, is gone. FL is the family member he chose, so he loves her dearly. His grandmother conspires with the SML to cause trouble. Fearing he'll implicate the FL, ML agrees to a divorce.

On the day of the divorce, SML as if by divine intervention, kidnaps FL, and she learns of his love from him. She discovers she's not a substitute, that everything was premeditated by ML, and that his "white moonlight" is his sister. ML is even going to donate bone marrow to his father.

On the contrary, all the supporting characters help FL stay clear-headed and rational. The substitute trope doesn't torment her. ML and FL are well-developed characters; ML is flawless except for his arrogance.

Still recommended this though.

Decent Action Comedy with good performance from leads.

I'm being conservative with my rating. A seemingly harmless but actually cunning FL, ML who's a master of deception, innocent yet foolish brothers, and goofy subordinates—everyone's a source of laughter, inherently funny. Just imagine how entertaining the plot will be. The plot is rich, with minimal verbal sparring. FL is decisive, resourceful, intelligent, and a master of drama. ML watches from the sidelines but is always there to cover for her when needed (though she doesn't really need it). The interactions between the leads are both sweet and hilarious, with occasional clueless characters bumping into them and getting themselves killed. It was rare to found comedy drama that match my humor code.

The character design of the violent loli FL is quite good. ML is like a masochistic, love-struck pervert. I don't watch Song Yubo's drama often but he seems to take on comedy route and he was perfect of this role. Cui Xiao Xuan performance was quite okay than some of notable actress on duanjus.

Recommended if you want some action comedy

More enjoyable than the popular ones

Okay I watched few version of this and i am kind not liking most of the popular one but this one was exception. FL was not too childish and annoying like other version rather i said she just got simple mind while ML was not too stern with FL He is too reserved due the trauma. The chemistry between He Ling Yao and Liu Guo Hao are quite cute rather than being romantic. I liked the scene where the high school love rival is describing ML as a businessman while ML is kissing FL for the first time.

The progression from mute to verbalization is impressive for the ML. Along with his ability to meld into FL's personality and willingness to aid in his recovery. The ending was decent, positive knowing both individuals are accepting each other looking forward to a real relationship including intimacy. Too bad it was abrupt.

Thank God to make Younger sister less annoying

There is too many version about , sisters mistakenly enter the wrong bridal chamber that i watched and i should said this one was completely making me devastated since i like 3 of the actors in here: Chen Zhengyang, Duan Meiyang, and Han Jiahui. Whoever cast Han Jiahui and Cheng Zi as siblings has eagle eye.

The strength of this version the younger sister aka Cheng Zi character was less annoying while other version always making younger sister looks like 5 years old spoiler brat and it was the best Younger Sister in all version that i watch. Han Jiahui may not have alpha woman aura but the chemistry between her and Duan Meiyang are quite enjoy to watch even their intimate scene was not too steamy but it feels warm. Finally, a family drama series understands the concept of "family matters are handled by family," and doesn't let outsiders meddle. For the styling, i have no problem with that.

This version has a smooth plot and solid logic. Finally, there's no villain with a father who goes crazy for no reason and whose intelligence seems to drop. The behavior of each character is logically sound, and the emotions develop gradually. As you watch, you naturally accept that the two couples love each other. MLs mother also got divorced, which cracked me up. The ML's father deserved it; he was always emphasizing rules and being domineering and unreasonable

But there are no real kissing scenes in this drama, I don't understand why Chen Zhengyang and Cheng zi used camera tricks since i know both of them can kiss. It was my biggest letdown in this version. If they add the kissing scene it would be perfect

Did I enjoy this? Yes. Will I recommended it? Plot wise, i still recommend this.

Good Make-out scene with garbage plot

I watched this last year and i found it ridiculous about Wu Yuhang character in here. My reason to watched this because of Zhang Shan and i guaranteed her kissing scene is good but the plot is make me the scriptwriter really loves ML character and have sadistic circumstances to FL character. If you like kissing scenes, you can check it drama , there are quite a few kisses, although it doesn't feel like there's much sparks in this.

This drama makes me feel like ML is the darling of the gods. He puts a love tribulation on FL, forcing her to fulfill his dream. FL's sister calls him "brother-in-law" whenever she sees him. FL isn't very willing, but she has to marry him to save her life. The ML's character isn't even as good as the SML. SML went abroad for five years to fight for power for the original owner of the body, and after returning, he fights and grabs her while still respecting her.

The only two redeeming qualities of this drama are the high attractiveness of the entire cast and the numerous intimate scenes that are quite sensual. The plot is trash. The patriarch couldn't even protect his own sister, let alone give her a good life. FL was practically dead. It's ridiculous that he was saved later, but it still feels absurd. Moreover, there's a lot of verbal sparring, and I really can't stand the scenes where the FL is mocked and then slapped in the face. In the end, FL confesses that she loved the ML a thousand years ago, but she lied about cultivating immortality to avoid hurting him due to health reasons. However, it wasn't clear from the beginning that FL loved the ML that much; it felt like a prelude to her later decision to give up her chance at immortality. But in the end, the female lead wanted to cultivate immortality, so she deliberately disappeared for a year, making it impossible for the ML to contact her, and even arranged various women for him.

If you are plot-driven person, avoid this drama. Don't become like me!

Light transmigration drama when the leads are on good term

I watched this last year because the is not much good drama on the day this drama being released. It is one of Chen Gang rare good character since he is not become scumbag even i feel he slightly too weak to get classic good guy. He Lingyao played on her usual expertise. I don't have any complain to the leads acting. Personally, they feels like comrades more than lovers but i still enjoy their bantering since it was not really toxic compare to other Chen Gang drama. I still rewatch this few times since its quite light drama.

This is a modern transmigration romance drama where ML and FL are sweet from beginning to end. ML was not too scumbag compared to other transmigration drama.

FL is adorable. Initially, she's portrayed as a hardworking woman trying to earn her post-marital allowance, a little manipulative, manipulating ML. Having read the book, she kindly helps the original FL and eventually becomes her friend. She also pursues an acting career, gaining recognition from the director and crew.

ML is initially quite indifferent, only showing slight interest in FL's changes and enjoying teasing her, but still fully respecting her. Later, he gradually falls for her, showing her affection in various ways, and doesn't hide his feelings in front of his friends. She quickly saw through the ML's family's true colors and decisively broke off the relationship, demonstrating both skill and influence

There is no unnecessary misunderstand trop, and no angst in this drama. Both lead can communicate. The villains was not traditional villains even they are too weak compared to leads, and their screentime are limited. FLs manager and friends are also quite nice too.

Recommended if you want light transmigration drama.

Don't excepting this drama

There is one unspeakable rule when i want to watch duanju for Wang Xiao Yi: Never expected too much for her romance drama. She is quite good at non romance drama role but her magic doesn't work non romance drama. Her kisses skill was quite evolved from her drama with Ye Haoran but the hot kisses means nothing if they don't have any chemistry.
Wang Xiao Yi's acting felt a bit over the top at times, such as when she calls the ML "husband" in public, which felt a little "dramatic." Also, the scenes in the early episodes where she tries to seduce ML (I know it's probably scripted) felt a bit overdone. It makes me feel like the she isn't quite suited to this type of role. Liang Siwei is just another Liang Siwei, there is nothing to complain except the chemistry doesn't seems work for me and i just forget the drama after i watch this.

The plot is the same old trope of a wealthy, unloved FL reclaiming everything. The story is fairly standard, and the plot is a bit short, but it does have its unique aspects. From the beginning, the FL has a clear goal: to regain her company shares. She beats up any bad guys she sees, which is hilarious and strangely satisfying to watch. ML also knows the FL's intentions from the start and falls in love with her before she does, so he's always jealous. At least the FL character was not miserable.

Not sure if i want to recommend this drama unless you're hardcore fans of leads.

I supposed to be happy when original plot was upgraded but...

I watched the original one last year and just realized there is another adaptation by Gong Fang Ni and Zhang Liren. The plot was quite upgraded and the duration way longer than original version but there is something wrong with this drama. The leads chemistry was none to be seen and they make it serious and losing the comedy aspect so the result FL in here were quite do anything without thinking about the consequence and end up looking careless. Oh they still add the violence part on mental inward for 30 minutes so viewer discretion is advised.

Okay the weakest point in this drama is unfortunately, Zhang Liren. He really not showing any attraction to FL and i found he was rather passive in anything making the ML character less interesting. I would like if they focused on romance, they could build up the relationship first but since there no chemistry, no spark and either comrades. It feels like stranger helping each other. Gong Fang Ni really tried liven up her character as FL but the dynamic between the leads are quite disjointed.

I don't want to spoiling too much there is big change on original version either you'll like if you're on romance or you will hate it since it defying logic..

When your group perfomance score based from individual skill

I watched this last year and the reason is Zhang Chi. Zhang Chi's acting has also improved significantly (a noticeable improvement compared to similar roles involving a two-faced, scheming character). I quite not familiar with Lin Zilin but her performance was below average.

I cannot sympathize with FL's character. It's quite concern me when psychiatrist to fall in love with a patient and have a romantic relationship with them. Does they never scare their license will be revoked? ML's storyline is complete, but FL's storyline is a bit off. I personally think it's related to the actors' performances and understanding of the story.

Okay for my little skill of understanding. This drama has a very empty storyline. Everyone is insane; there are no normal people, and nothing serious happens. They're all eccentric. It feels very stream-of-consciousness and dark. FL is loved by the ML in the wrong way and retaliates in the wrong way. I wonder why they didn't communicate their traumas when they were in love? In the end, everything is suddenly revealed, and it become simple drama.

Overall recommended it you into dark drama.

There is many hole in ML character.

I watched this year ago and this is pleasant surprise from Du Yafei., i liked how he potrayed the ML. This is my first ever Wu Jialu drama's and her acting is quite comfortable to see.

FL disguises herself as an ugly woman to go on a blind date for her best friend, only to find that her blind date is actually her college classmate whom she has secretly loved for ten years. FL is filled with regret, thinking the blind date has failed, but unexpectedly, ML wants to take things further. What was thought to be a one-sided unrequited love turns out to be a cautious mutual affection and unrequited love. Facing various external interferences, such as misunderstandings and third-party intervention, their relationship goes through many twists and turns . Ultimately, they overcome the difficulties, bravely confess their feelings, and get together.

The biggest problem is that the ML is a scumbag. He's surrounded by women, has no boundaries whatsoever, and claims to treat them all like sisters. He even gets together with one of them for three months because she's his best friend's sister. How can he have the nerve to claim he love FL for 10 years. He cannot talk to FL to clear the misunderstanding.

Kissing scenes are good, lack of good certain atmosphere beforehand? I prefer to see kisses that develop naturally, rather than those spontaneous, impulsive kisses. These kinds of kisses feel cheap and it only used for marketing. This drama contains simple secret love which is common formula in short drama. What this drama better, were the leads delicate acting and chemistry.

Recommended to watch despite the flaw logic about ML

Meng Na should avoid bubbly character.

I watched this drama since i quite enjoy Chen Si Meng Na collaboration but i choose the wrong side for watching this drama. Meng Na didn't suit bubbly sunny persona it feels awkward when i watch this. Chen Si is playing mute CEO (i am quite tired seeing his CEO role) and the emotional depth between the leads far worse than previous collaboration. If they got chance to collaborate again, they should avoid this type of drama. Waste of their skills. I always want to dropped this drama hard and ended up fast forwarding instead.

Come and Hug Me but less melodramatic element.

I watched this drama last year and felt familiar with this plot and it feels like K-Drama "Come and Hug Me" specifically about childhood sweetheart reunited with the son of a serial killer and the daughter of a victim. Main difference in K-drama are ML was a pilot not a detective and no melodramatic element in this drama. I liked the slice of life approach on this drama since they prefer show reflection of the complex spectrum of human nature. Xie Yu Wang and Zhang Shan have excellent looks and physiques, and a certain chemistry that you can help and nodded when they are together.

FL struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder and PTSD, achieving some success, though not a complete cure, but she faces life with a positive attitude and becomes actress. To prepare her role for her upcoming movie, FL studies flight technology at an airline, where she reunites with the ML. Both experience a simple, honest, and instinctive reaction. ML conscience about his father sin and bringing his guilt when he faced FL was quite decent. FL approach to ML by standing together despite the past was quite nice. The relationship pace between the leads are quite logical and natural.

Villains are also well-developed and not one-dimensional. The plot details are generally reasonable. The part about the ML transitioning from a military pilot to civilian aviation is foreshadowed and hinted at through his uncle's adoption, name change, and historical erasure, which is a good approach.

Recommended when you want to seek trauma healing for the broken leads.
