Like the CP and cannot stand the Plot

I watched this because My friend recommend this drama and I cannot finish this. Even Ma Le Jie and Wang Kaimu have strong chemistry but the plot is just focused on torturing FL.

The Plot is about FL has a seriously ill younger sister. ML possesses an unreleased drug that might save her. He uses this drug as bait to torment and abuse the FL, making her completely subservient to him.

I love Wang Kaimu, but this drama gave me a lot of heartache and the smoke kiss was not really cool at all. The forced happy ending is not good since ML didn't have any redemption point.

Since it was forced Happy Ending, i dropped this drama.

The only redeeming quality in this drama was Male Lead

I watched this last year because i am missing Ma Xiao Yu at the time and i have trauma against Xiang Yun Jie after her lousy kissing scene with Liu Lambo so for the therapy i tried the experimental trauma by watching this. Turns out, the plot is just very abstract. To make it simpler, seducing my ex-boyfriend's sister-in-law. Ma Xiaoyu should have been able to do that easily (in the drama), and the screenwriter clearly favors ML, giving him a complete character aura, and his crazy, dark, and reckless personality is well-developed.

However, FL is relatively one-dimensional. Their falling in love is also very formulaic, and the reason ML loves her is also poorly designed. Plus, the actress herself doesn't quite pull off the "older sister" role. Xiang Yunjie was miscast (it was nothing to do with my trauma, i am just being fair person she lacks jie jie vibe even the real age she is 3 years older than Ma Xiao Yu)

Maybe, i am little too fond of Ma Xiao Yu. I'm increasingly disliking these soft-hearted, dim-witted, and indecisive characters only watch this for his sake lol.

Quite fresh youth drama.

I watched this since i am on journey to search Li You Lin drama. I remember i saved this drama for Zhang Jin Yi since it was campus drama and i have a mood to watch this after found mediocre dramas recently.

This drama is original script and has a clear message. The plot is normal and probably reflects things we've all encountered. The characters are people we know or friends around us. It's righteous yet wicked, completely unlike a typical short drama. Four people from four different families—one from a single-parent family, one divorced, one orphaned—each with their own difficulties and problems. Two couples experience their own stirrings and interactions, and two pairs of best friends face various trials. There is no kiss which is understandable since it is campus drama.

The story encompasses friendship, family, and budding romance. Rich in content, with a complete narrative and natural progression, it unfolds with a comfortable, gentle flow. There are no forced or contrived conflicts, making me feel like I was back in high school. Li You Lin and Zhang Jin Yi looks and acting perfectly suit their roles; they're genuinely young, not just pretending to be young.

Recommended to Watch.

The Best Period Drama I ever watched.

I watched this since the premises was really good and i want to explore more Yao Guanyu's work and it's my first time seeing He Lei acting and Turn out I love this drama. Because it's just not romance but it focused on FL and her mother relationship and FL entrepreneurship growth. The comedy was not too cheesy. It was perfect balance for every genres for Period Drama.

The plot logic is very reasonable. FL gradually understands her mother and teaches the original mother from past and sister to resist loving her. Even though the FL knows the bad consequence will happen to her that day, she has a reason to go out. In the end, the FL's wish to return to her mother's side is fulfilled. All of these things are not accomplished by a few superficial words, but are actually driven by the plot. This is true feminist drama in short drama-emphasizes judging actions based on ability, not gender.

FL is truly intelligent and self-reliant heroine. Many times when she encountered bad guys, I thought the ML was about to appear, but she always solved the problem with her own. He Lei proves her natural acting in this drama. Her economic thinking are biggest help to survive in 1980's.

Yao Guanyu was well-cast and acted perfectly. He contributed 80% of the comedic moments in the show so this drama is not too serious since they bring heavy topic. His screentime was not too much but he makes impact. ML's marriage proposal gives the FL confidence, and the couple are incredibly sweet.

The makeup is so natural and light. But I liked Yao Guanyu's floral shirt, slicked-back hair, and bell-bottoms, he perfectly captures the unruly and resilient spirit of a rebel kids in 80's

The cons are the duration are too long around 4 hours 20 minutes so I need to make watch instalment. There are too many distressing family scenes especially come from FL's dad and annoying chatter from uncles and aunts. I feel bad for ML in the end and last part really feels poorly written.

Recommended to watch and it was the best period drama.

Beautiful scenery hides hollow part of this plot.

The combination of real scenery (Gobi Desert) and decent styling was contradicting with actual drama story.

The plot is hollow and overly unrealistic, with numerous illogical details. ML is initially extremely cautious, even investigating FL's background, showing a "better safe than sorry" attitude. Is it even plausible that he would stoop to a fake marriage with a female celebrity if you are secret agent?

The pacing was slow and the ex-girlfriend's storyline was completely unnecessary, purely an artificial obstacle for the main couple. Another problem is that Bai Fangwen and Guo Yuxin don't really have any chemistry; it's like they're each acting their own thing.

Perhaps hardcore fans of both actors could enjoy this.

Great Chemistry for BL Drama

I found this BL drama thanks to Tiktok advertisement and despite the MLs (Zhang Qi Hao & Pan Xin Yu) are not well-known they played the part well and not awkward for BL drama and the kisses and humping scene was good compare to most hetero couple on duanju drama.

But the plot is too common. I have irked about Doctor character despite his passionate humping. if he was in real life he should get his license revoked. Drugged your patients are big no even you are smitten at first time.

For The Racer, he is basically just naive and distressed dude. He was denial on his sexual preference and he slowly embrace it and want to tell his fiancée and his dad about his engagement annulment. I like his character development in here.

Still decent to watch for BL dramas

Liked the Leads but it was lukewarm story.

I was eager to watched Peng yao and was like Zhang Sifan acting with Zhang Chenglu and Chai Huixin so i had great hope the drama would be good. I was thought it was lowkey glasses advertisement drama but apparently is not.

The FL got mirror curse and was the daughter of Zhao family. The mirror is passed down through generation by generations, but later in FL's parents generation was massacred due to mirror's magical powers. The culprits are Song family and Qin family (one of major families) and FL want to take revenge by using ML as her weapon as she search about her parent real murder with using mirror to get her other personality. By time,She was fall in love with ML.

Overall the story was quite complicated but somehow i got yawned on the middle so i tried to fast forward and the ending is quite nice

Recommended to Zhang Sifan and Peng Yao fans.

Afterall it's still decent due Main Lead chemistry

I watched this because of excessive advertisement and it turns out to be good.

Personally i am not fan of Liu Nian acting style and He Congrui successfully balanced her with their overflowing chemistry.
The plot is about modern girl transmigrate into FL and want to divorce her scumbag husband and ask decree from ML who happened to be emperor. The comedic part are quite fun and enjoyable and i didn't notice it was Cheng Cheng who played FL scumbag husband.

Recommended to watch.

Rollercoaster Drama

I watch when i have mood to watch Meng Na and Zhang Jijun are not quite bad actor. The chemistry between them is gradually right; the tension is on and i almost gasped on their scene. There is slightly plot hole but you can pretend it was never there.

Personally i quite more enjoy if this drama was having Bad Ending despite the roller coaster feeling about Male Lead. But overall the ending is too bad for me.

Still delightful drama despite dragged on the middle

This is Wang Haozhen- Lu Lulu second collaboration and i quite enjoy it. The Chemistry is the best one for both of actor.

The Plot is basically about FL aka Luo Jia who getting cheated by his ex aka Gu Boning with green tea. His ex being terrorized by green tea about who was FL and he said she just once time fuck buddy. Being heartbroken, She called his ex and make voice not to ask for break up and met ML aka Cheng Jin. Because of self desire, FL asks ML to become her ONS. When they have done doing sex activity, ML asks her to bathe together and FL just run away. Tomorrow, FL works as nurse met new boss which happened to be ML.

I love Wang Haozhen characterization of Cheng Jin-being cunningly calculative but if he is appear on real life it would be completely stalker behaviour. I don't understand why people hate FL for not accepting ML apology easily. I understand her being deceived twice on row by men and want to have normal relationship since she is in the age of marriage. Cheng Jin is someone who cannot accept when someone saying no to him. He tried to shoo FL pursuer by asking their main priority. In the end, FL tried to rekindled their relationship even she wanst sure about the future and i dont feel angry about that and Cheng Jin action is justified in the end because it was happened in real life too.

This is 3 of Wang Haozhen drama that i repeat beside Han Yutong one. Recommend if you like modern drama with common break-up problem.

It was an Okay drama

I watched this when i am binged to watch Chen Si drama. I think this is decent drama, it has a strong "overly wild" feel. Chen Si and Liu Xiyu have great chemistry which make me okay watching this. The sweetness is on point not to over powered. After all, who can resist a sweet and gentle FL.

The setting is in the Republican era, which is more reasonable than the modern version, naturally avoiding some plot inconsistencies. The overall story framework and main characters remain the same, but reasonable modifications have been made to fit the Republican era: 3FL's company is changed to a reading club, FL's initiative to seek cooperation with the ML on the aircraft business is changed to saving the students of the reading club, and the addition of a Russian roulette scene at the banquet makes the contrast between the ML and the SML's characters more obvious. ML an d FLinteract more, getting together early on, with numerous intimate scenes full of tension. ML is more proactive, while the FL is neither conflicted nor insecure. Their secret relationship is portrayed as natural and open. FL also realizes her feelings for the male lead early on and not being dragged until end of the drama. Overall, it's very sweet and worth watching.

Generic drama and hated FL characterization.

I watched this since i was curious about Zhang Junya after watching his drama with Lin Qiting and his acting was quite okay despite being typecast for Mafia-CEO like with tend of loving his wife. The plot was generic acceptable and the chemistry seems too forced. I quite like He Tian Tian's wardobe in here her red dress is beautiful. Personally i really don't like FL characterization in this drama she is supposed to be strong and smart but somehow He Tian Tian acting was kind of subpar and have no charm. They dragged the mistaken identity until 57 episode and somehow ML has no dignity while FL mocks him.

Only stays for Zhang Junya though and his secretary was quite interesting character.

Not enjoying this.

Okay I watch this first before the long drama version and it was....bland. I tried so hard to not compare to long drama but ML characterization was quite lacking and have no charm and Yue Yuting puts same seductive expression in her costume drama. The chemistry between Wu Zixe and Yue Yuting looks artificial despite they got intimate scene. This drama lacks authentic charm and i was on verge on dropping this drama so i just fast forwarding. The only good part in this drama is the costume. I wont recommend this and suggest to watch long drama instead.

Still watchable despite chemistry was almost gone

I watched this drama years ago and this is another version from Charon-Liu Lange version. I need to confess i was quite liked this version but when i rewatch again i realized Chen Luxi but her expression is to stiff and her chemistry with Yang Yubin was somewhat below minimum. This version tends to be serious compared to first version but at least the good thing about this drama the child acting was not unbearable to watch..

The plot was quite meticulous until the "twist" part, they failed to execution the story and it feels like you build a card tower but you accidentally touch the middle part. and the tower was collapsed.

At least, i would recommended this drama to hardcore fans of the actors.

Nice Try for making Office related drama but still unnecessary to make Sequel

I watched this because i quite like the first season even some of part were unrealistic but i can tolerate because it was rare on duanju drama didn't push the romance which is good for me who like to explore any genre. While first season focused on fake daughter real daughter trop the second season focused on after season 1 end—FL establish her own company and the "real" family called her for saving the company. I understand they make season 2 hoping to get raved as previous season even it was unnecessary to create sequel.

The first half continues the highlights of the first season, completely eliminating the excessive banter. The overall pacing is tighter, with intense clashes between the real world and the short drama world, perfectly capturing the feeling of the first episode. Unfortunately, the second half feels somewhat disjointed, as if the scriptwriter has changed. Having read the entire script, the biggest problem is that there's too much content, too many characters, and too much runtime, leaving insufficient groundwork for the supporting characters' storylines. The eldest brother is a typical incompetent CEO in short dramas, all talk and no action. His career is passable, but he lacks some memorable lines (I was really looking forward to him saying things like "I need all her information in 3 minutes" or "I'll bankrupt your XX family in 5 minutes").

The romance is excepted to be poorly developed, the character of Wen Rou isn't well-defined, and FL's solution—just 2-3 conversations—feels rushed. The second brother is probably the most successfully portrayed; a typical outlaw in short dramas, he learns his lesson after a few police calls. The third brother is a typical character who only cares about tokens, not people; there's too much pointless plot, initially portrayed as mysterious but ultimately useless. The character of Master Su is never well-defined and lacks the characteristics of a short drama. The villain is unconvincing, weak in both ability and intelligence, and lacks sufficient conflict with the FL. The lack of plot twists and turns severely diminishes the show's appeal. The plot regarding the interactions with the two female supporting characters is well-intentioned, but due to insufficient foreshadowing, the rescue, achieved solely through a few lines, feels somewhat farcical.

The final crisis, while attempting to portray the heroine's past acts of kindness as a reward, lacks sufficient impact. In summary, the main problem is that it tries to convey too much content, leaving insufficient time, and the plot and character development feel overly thin. The costumes, props, and sets are good, the visual quality is excellent, the filters are natural, and the original voice acting contributes to a pleasant viewing experience

It's neither outstanding nor terrible. Compared to typical short dramas, it offers a fresh perspective, but lacks compelling moments and a gripping plot, and still weaker in comparison to the first season. You can watch if you didnt mind of non romance drama.
