Watch it for Ma Lejie only.

I watch it because i enjoy of Ma Lejie acting skills and actually not to fond of Xie Hongxin acting. But the plot seems promising about Older Woman-Younger Brother romance.

The plot is about FL who got his soon to be ex had affair with her best friend. Broken hearted she got one night stand with ML, FL though he was prostitute so she paid him and ask him to not meet anymore while ML wants to close to FL.

For the chemistry, i wont say they didn't have chemistry but it feels so lukewarm for younger brother romance or I should said Ma Lejie acting skill is far superior than Xie Hongxin while actual plot was written to make ML shine. There is no angst scene but few of plot was not necessary to add.

The ending is not memorable and quite lacking for everything. Only suggest to watch once.

Nice ending with crap plot.

I watched it on my first time of watching short drama. I love Bai Yan and she suited damsel of distress FL. Lu Dandong has scumbag image in my eye so his acting as ML is quite good.

The plot is about FL sister who was entrusted her husband and their children to FL since she know FL was in love with FL and they have an affair. FL sister didn't have any time since she got terminal cancer and died. And the roller coaster between FL and ML was begin.

For my view, FL, ML and FL sister was not good person. The ending is well deserve for everyone even i thought FL should redeem herself too.

Another example of wasted reverse harem

I quite like otome type of drama about reverse harem 1 FL and 4 ML. Tian Xinya (Biscuit Lala) got her main role after being vicious supporting role. I only know about Cao Tinkai and barely know Wu Tianhao at that day.
This is almost have same case with Mermaid story but they only focused on 2 ML (Cao Tiankai & Wu Tianhao) and too much cut so we got jumpy plot which make people confused (specifically Yang Cheng Han and Cao Tiankai scene like what happened). And the mysterious ML is not necessary just to add cherry on the top chaos. Tian Xinya got zero chemistry with anyone even Cao Tiankai who always shown his body didn't help too much for the chemisty The ending is crap like the just want to rushed everything.

Underwhelming drama

I quite enjoy girl disguised as boy theme of drama. (From my watch the decent one is Jia Yixuan Sun Yue one) and I need to be honest: It was underwhelming for iQiyi drama.

I quite like Wen Moyan and her revenge plot about who is killed her brother. But for female lead development, the character growth deteriorated to become helpless. Male Lead are not helping too much and drowned with his own jealousy. The chemistry between her and Zhang Tingrui still lacks compare to her previous dramas Male Leads which is unfortunate since both of them are quite good looking. The SML plot troupe has potential but they ended him just like that.

There is no climax on the story and the ending is too rushed.

Has Potential but Tinghuadao ruin it themselves.

I am Wen Moyan big fans and she is collaborating with my potential CP Wang Daotie after a year.

Personally this kind of uncle-nephew ex plot suits them but i always have a doubt since its from Tinghuadao (the company that make this drama). They make the story depth are not too complex and the relationship progress just pass quick without any progression but they only got the result for couple growth. The Good Point the character between Male Lead and Female Lead are quite consistent and no misunderstanding. The ending is very diabolical but still enjoyable.

The biggest lost on this drama is they dubbed Wen Moyan real voice. Her voice is distinctive to hear.

At least i still like this version more than Wang Jin- Hu Jiaohao version.

Recommended to the fans of the both actor.

Quite decent plot but lack of chemistry destroy it.

I personally have binge of watching Ashang and found the school drama plot. The Male Lead is Shen Haonan, even he is not my personal taste of actor i like i still believe on his acting skill. Plot is quite interesting so i try to watch it.

The Plot is about FL who hopelessly fall in love with ML confessed to him but he is just being cold toward him. On their campus time, somehow FL wants to have sex with ML and they have shotgun marriage. FL had miscarriage and comes to ML speech and seeing ML crush also in there and feeling sad. FL died for accident and regret her life for being stupidly in love with ML. She was reborn and swear not to close to ML like her first life while actually ML also reborn and try to pursue FL love again.

As long as I like their acting, but their chemistry stills lacks, which is my letdown for this drama. The FL self growth was satisfying to watch since she choosing focusing on her self and not to go same campus as him. The Plot pace is not to slow and quite fast. I quite like SML and hope FL ends up with SML since he is not too scumbag even in her first life.

If they have better chemistry, i will give this drama rate 7,5. I still recommended since its good drama.

Rare case for decent mission drama without scumbag system.

I personally like Wang Gege comedic drama so this is one for me. Wang Kaimu has an eagle eye for choosing script in 2025.
Since its their first collaboration that has aired (actually its second time when they were shoot this but i consider this as first time), i expected both of them have a chemistry and it turns out i was right about that.

The Plot is about FL dies after failed on her fifth time mission to get SML fall in love with her. So she (and the system) change her target to ML aka SML uncle.

I quite like Wang Gege character growth from helpless NPC into hopeless strategic. Luckily the system was not too scumbag and give mercy to our main leads, unlike other mission drama. Wang Kaimu always nailed as CEO role so it's a piece of cake for him. For mission role drama, they successfully put the premise and conclusion without getting too many plot holes and make the viewer confused.

Recommended to watch.

The couple has cute vibes

I watch for Lily Zai and someone from Xiaohongsu recommended Liu Ruoxun to me.

The plot is about FL who can see her time to die and want to longer her life. She found ML who was regent and suddenly her time span was add up for 3 day. She tried to close to ML since ML was being known as cold regent with any means.

I quite like Liu Ruoxun way of acting. He is quite has nice deep voice and his intonation is clear. I am happy his voice is not dubbed. Lily Zai is eye candy and FL is kind of simple minded without complex feeling so it's kind easy acting for her.

The plot is quite promising at first but they dragged the plot pace the middle like common term in short drama. The ending is underwhelming for the couple. For the chemistry, they have cute vibe and sweet couple, wish they can show more of the couple actual progress.

Still recommended to watch.

Decent but not memorable

Its basically another version of Guo Yuxin- Ma Xiao Yu drama but in ancient drama. And its second time i watch another version of Wang Haozhen-Lu Lulu version.

Plot is same about ML who has fictional diseases to initiate a couple's relationship. Compare to Wang Haozhen-Lu lulu, ML is not really pushover. They added about FL modern life with ML while ML was actually has terminal illness. Despite their looks, the chemistry feels subpar. This is one of Cai Xinyang not so recommended drama for me. Lily Zai needs to improve her acting skill, her sad scene reminds me of the earlier works of Tian Tianyi.

50:50 for worth watch unless you are fans of both actors.

Wish they could pull this double Male lead combo again but please change the actress!

I was excited to see Yang Han/Alf Yang and Zhang Xuan as Double Male lead. And Both of them nail their character perfectly.

The Plot was quite okay for Republican and unfortunately Zhang Zilin and Yang Han don't have chemistry. Zhang Xuan got better chemistry with Zhang Zilin but somehow she couldn't catch both of actor skills. Compare to all of main leads the FL was the key of the drama letdown.

Zhang Zilin acting show lack of emotion and didn't convince me as smart FL or someone who wants to take revenge. Her expression is almost same in every scene. It feels like annoying damsel in distress that usual Chinese short drama have. The worse of all the FL characterization is very inconsistent.

I've done it just for sake of the actors. Wish Both of male actor could collab with bromance or something with different FL. I couldn't enjoy Zhang Zilin acting.

Still decent watch

Actually i had watch it first before i found the super bad adaptation (Yang Jie-Li Boyi version) and decided to rewatch to compare it again. The plot is about ML who pretends to become disable to stop his wife aka FL shopaholic.
I like Zhao Zhendong-Yang Luoqian dynamic duo but still have weak chemistry as lover. They have great acting skill and they can put the character into complex depth that latter version lacked. The Kid are not too annoying like the other version. There is not too exaggerated slapstick code and they can put the when the time we got emotional.

Still decent watch.

Did Zhang Lei just being called by production team last minute?

I watch this drama because of Han Yutong and i secretly want to see her chemistry with Zhang Lei. He is one of underrated actor in short drama.

Personally Zhang Lei screentime feels like he is second man of this drama or should i say his existence is barely there. This drama is too focused on Lu Yifang (SML the scumbag) backstory, but his acting was...errr not memorable at all.
I should give my respect to Second Female Lead for act so unlikeable from the start. Han Yutong still giving her mercy by giving minimum effort to not make her overshine the male lead. I was disappointed with lack of Zhang Lei-Han Yutong screentime and lack of chemistry. It feels Zhang Lei just being called for deadline of the project for replacement. The ML actual characterization was not fully shown since they decided to give SML too much backstory while the ML potential growth was being erased by production team for SML.

Avoid this drama unless you just want to get your blood rises by seeing SML screentime.

If i describe this film as food; bland porridge

This has been a pretty bad season. As long as Chinese vertical short drama has pretty nice show or a couple of decent ones, I'm happy. I was getting my high hope for Zhang Beixi and Bai Yan collaboration but unfortunately it looks beyond salvation and worst of all Zhang Beixi real voice was being dubbed, what a bad day.

The Plot is basically FL wants to divorce ML since his indifference attitude and his constrains of FL freedom. ML wants to keep her and tug-of-war are constantly happened in this drama. There is no character development between both of the leads and they just keeping playing cat and mouse. The kiss was hot but it lacks of chemistry and there is no hint of love between them.

I feel i am just eating bland porridge after watch this nothing impressed me from this drama.
