Quite light comedy but romance part was still underwheming.

I watched this because of plot and Ma Xiao Yu on non usual expertise role. Personally this is my first ever to finish Deng Ling Shu drama since her previous dramas are not my cup of tea. Both are quite have decent acting in here. I quite like the dynamic duo between Ma Xiao Yu and Deng Ling Shu but as romantic couple they are still not passable as lovers.

Plot is about FL was the mafia leader who trapped on generic CEO love drama story and it's one of the reason she got crows mouth while ML got mind-reading. It feels like they mixed generic trop like transmigration + marriage-first-love trop +mind reading ML+ transmigrated FL into one story and the execution was successfully since the plot was quite meticulous with some little flaw that we can forgive. FL's curse mouth not working on the ML but backfired to herself adds a sense of destiny to their relationship.

ML's character isn't as distinct as FL's; he's a simple, self-absorbed, love-struck individual whose daily inner monologue oscillates between gradually falling for her. The mind-reading ability doesn't significantly enhance the character; it seems to provide an initial opportunity for him to fall in love with the FL and also serves as some emotional support for his later affections. He's also still decent CEO who never said hurtful words to his wife-he is quite delicate for usual scumbag ML on same plot. He knew all along that the FL was acting to maintain her delicate, pampered image, but he was willing to play along and never question her—Love this part.

There are no clichéd drugging or mistaken identity plots. The kidnapping scenes are funny and not the traditional melodramatic kind. The relationship growth between ML and FL feels natural and the pacing is comfortable. But the kisses was not intense enough it feels too PG-13.

Some scenes are a bit childish, but as a lighthearted comedy, it's perfectly fine. I feel ML is a bit of a background character, often absent, so he doesn't seem to have much room to develop his character, and their interactions are limited, resulting in a weak sense of chemistry and the dubbing was quite not natural since i quite enjoy Ma Xiao Yu real voice but it can't be helped since the drama is from Tinghuadao.

Still worth to watch if you enjoy light comedy.

If you want to see ghost theme drama, it just appear of first scene and they dissapeared.

It's been long time since i watch Jia Yixuan drama (even her dramas with Chen Si that i was anticipated, i still never complete it for some reason) and yeah i got this from Tik Tok Recommendation.

Jia Yixuan's acting is okay; she portrays two different personalities well, one pure and innocent (Bai He), the other ghostly and alluring (A Lian). Guo Haojun plays FL's childhood friends who secretly loves her but due to his identity, he's never confessed his love. After learning the FL's true identity, to allow her to use him without burden and willing to sacrifice himself to help her set up a scheme. The chemistry between the leads are quite fine to watch.

The plot is actually good but they cannot executed well, trying to create a twist, misunderstanding that the younger sister is the bad guy but it turns out she's the good one. But the result is just so-so. There are more another errors. The show says it's ten years after Bai He's death, but Lord Wen's appearance hasn't changed at all over ten years.

The plot logic is somewhat inconsistent; the blood pact mentioned in the show isn't clearly explained. FL casually revealed her identity to the villain without any fear of being plotted against or retaliated against. Few of supporting actors acting were awkward; especially the FL younger sister.

The only highlight is the ghostly appearance in the first scenes.. It feels like it was just a gimmick. I came in because of this setting, but I was disappointed with this. It would be better if they create revenge drama with ordinary person from beginning.

Actual concept of this drama was quite potential, but it wasn't utilized well, resulting in a somewhat chaotic production. The editing was so sloppy making this drama was disjointed.

Maybe if you are fans of the actor, you could enjoy this.

Scriptwriter loves to add bullying sprinkle on his/her creation

I watched this drama when i was on Zhao Caizi binge watch and realized the male lead is Zhang Yiyang. Both leads have decent acting also their chemistry was fine but the FL characterization was the problem and the bullying was too severe and the first meeting was considered to be rape.

Actually this was the first one where I saw the ML actually apologize for the rape and say FL has the option to have ML arrested. It's very clear in his mind what he did. In other dramas, I only see the CEO apologize and that's it, and everything is forgotten. However beautiful the story may be, we can't forget that ML abused FL, and this type of scene has become fashionable in dramas. Apart from that part about how they met, the drama is ok.

Only recommended for hardcore fans of both actor.

Being scammed by the premises.

I watched this drama on December 2025 and the plots reminds me of Nakuna Hara Chan (2013) but with the difference ML that FL created was more aggressive but i feel the premises was not being well-executed and the plot was disjointed. Its normal if average watcher will be confused. It feels like i was being scammed by drama premises. There is no emotional moment in this drama. It feels so flat.

The earlier plot can be seen as the FL losing her memory due to an accident and forgetting the ML her muse. Her amnesia is related the death of one of her parents ML in another universe was angry why he was being abandoned by FL. This constant tugging between ML and FL was annoying. ML claims to be seeking revenge, but he's completely love-struck, constantly creating an environment that makes ML and FL feel like they're having an affair.

SML was initially okay, but to moralize the main couple's relationship, he was forced into scenes of cheating and neglecting the FL, causing the character settings and actions to contradict each other, severely impacting the story's flow and giving the impression that the acting was just for the sake of the plot—very jarring.

Personally not a fans of Cheng Zi-Li Meng Ran pair but the chemistry in this drama was so unbearable to watch.
Perhaps hardcore fans could enjoy this drama but i am being scammed by the premises, i am not enjoying this drama.

Quite good at first half but the ending didn't resolve the problem

I watched this version first and the plot is more complete and detailed. FL's inner thoughts are portrayed delicately, and her interactions with ML are frequent and effective. The visual quality is good, and the opening shots of FL's background are well-done. The characters' behavior is logically consistent with the established plot. I quite like Li Shengxuan madness acting.

When the FL had relapse moment, I could feel her second personality emerge even through the screen; it felt very realistic. Li Shengxuan's facial expressions during the episode were also excellent, without any exaggerated facial movements.

The weakness in this drama; the chemistry between the Wu Zhuxi and Li Shengxuan dont really strong as other version. The ending is poorly handled-it didn't completely resolve the time loop and reincarnation issue.

The premises is common but needs to skill to make it engaging

I actually watch Jinze and Zhang Chuxuan second drama first and it was decent watch and know this is their first drama i decided to watch this.

The premise of this drama might be similar to typical regret-filled stories: FL deeply loves the SML, who is unaware of his own love for her but prefers the SFL; FL leaves, ML gets lucky, SML discovers his true love, regrets missing out on the FL, and then begins to punish the scumbags. Typically, the SML is a jerk, and the SFL is a scheming woman. What makes this drama special is its character development

For example, SML isn't a jerk. Initially, he rejects FL decisively, and I even thought FL was asking for trouble in the first half. But after watching the whole series, I felt he was a flesh-and-blood character, and all his actions were consistent with his character. Similarly, the SFL's scheming nature has a reason, unlike some short dramas where scheming is just for the sake of scheming, blaming the FL for every mistake.

ML falls in love with FL at first sight, helps her protect her mother's belongings, rescues her when she's kidnapped, and protects her in every way after marriage. He's also jealous and competitive.

Pacing is tight and smooth without dragging, there's no unnecessary dialogue, and the ending is even more uplifting. Everyone has their own happiness, there's no need to force it, love yourself before loving others.

Recommended to watch.

Plot was bad but the making out was great

I watched this just forsake of Zhang Shan and Wang Xuan. Both are great kisser and the plot was bad.

FL has always suffered bullying from her family of origin, being switched at birth by her biological parents. She's quite pathetic after returning home, but thankfully the ML gives her fairness and favoritism. The kiss between these two was so passionate and intense, their eyes were practically glued to each other, making the viewer feel we should not interrupt their making out scene. The Green Tea Sister aka SFL was so annoying.

The cons is FL's parents and brother didn't receive any punishment in this drama. Also, SFL committed suicide, and the way her parents were grieving at her suicide scene clearly showed that SFL was more important to them than FL It's very likely that the parents would blame the FL for the SFL, so I think this aspect was handled very poorly.

Only for hardcore fans of the actors.

Wang Haozhen looks to tired in this drama

I watched it for Wang Haozhen but he is obviously look tired in this drama. But after fast-forwarding through it all, I was utterly blown away by the plot. This script really feels like it was created by deadliner – where's the logic?

FL approached the ML to raise money for her sister's surgery, and the difference in their social status and impure motives created a lot of conflict. But who would have thought they'd fall in love so inexplicably, only to break up and get back together again due to some nonsensical misunderstandings? Fast forward to 3 years later, ML's family is in troubles, his career slump, and FL's hardships are all glossed over, leaving the characters hollow and their motivations incomprehensible.

Actually Wang Haozhen and Guan Xin chemistry are still pass to watch but the plot is not for it.

Only for hardcore fans.

It gives me asadora type of drama.

I watched this drama on December 2025 since i want to see some Family drama and it reminds me of Asadora since they showed Sichuan and Chongqing dialect in this drama.

Wang Daotie's acting is truly solid, and in this drama, his performance is explosive, perfectly embodying the devastation of a middle-aged person losing a loved one. Sun Yiran's acting in the second season is a step up from the first, with more layers in her performance; sometimes, you can feel the emotions she wants to convey just by looking at her eyes. The child actors' acting is also quite good espeicially the Eldest sister, showing great promise for the future. The only exception is the actor who played Zhou Dawei as a child, who was slightly lacking.

Personally i don't really invested on adult version of the children story but Wang Peiyan is gave me a surprise. Duan Meiyang had limited screentime but his acting was so memorable. Deng Ling Shu acting was decent. Zhao Tingyi speech reminds me of My late neighbour.

The cons is the duration is too long but still Worth to rewatching.

New plot and decent acting.

I watched this because Yi Hang and the plot was quite new the reborn ML x transmigrated FL. Guo Xin Yu is perfect for this role, working class FL who trapped in ancient time. The costumes, makeup, and props are excellent. Even the supporting casts doing great job too.

It's a sweet and angsty story with a happy ending. In her past life, the original FL conspired with the ML's mother, the Empress Dowager, and his younger brother, the Regent, to poison him, helping the Regent seize the throne. ML vowed never to be so compassionate again and was reborn.

New FL is a medical master's student, transmigrates into the novel, wanting to protect the kind-hearted ML. However, she encounters the newly reborn ML at the beginning, and her beloved becomes a tyrant, starting a hellish survival mode. FL has to juggle both the ML and the Empress Dowager, barely surviving. Fortunately, FL is smart, quickly deducing that the ML is a reincarnated person. The process ML gradually falling in love with the FL doesn't feel abrupt. The moment i like from this drama is about FL and her father, Prime Minister was really touching,

However, the later parts are a bit forced to add the duration and the kissing scenes are below average and the chemistry between the main leads are barely minimum.

Still decent watch.

I disliked the ML character

OK I was saving this drama in my shelf since i didn't have mood to watch Miqi at that time and I watched this last week.

The actual drama was below average to my liking and yeah the voice was being dubbed has not making this drama better. Wang Haozhen still delivers his acting but Miqi is quite weak on terms of acting too bad i quite like her looks. Considering Miqi she never do real kiss (there is only one but yeah she always do tricks on kissing scene).

The blood-drawing trope is so uncool! Treating it as a way to repay a debt of gratitude is even more uncool. I forced myself since i am quite lenient person. Fortunately FL was smart by using pig blood. ML was quite bad person and didn't deserve FL at all.

Only recommended to hardcore fans.

They should connect this season with season 2 instead

The overall quality is still above average, although it didn't surprise me, it's still okay.

It would be even better if this season were combined with the second season. Only the dramatic conflict at the end of the second season would be retained, with the third season featuring sweet interactions and a resolution, plus a bit more of the older brother + sweet girl storyline, and the decent guy + firecracker sister storyline.

SFL finally gets divorced this season, but given her personality, she probably won't even realize what she did wrong in the end.

I feel like this season is probably the real last one. The ending includes the ML's confession and love letter, and their wedding—a happy ending!

It was nice trilogy despite the flaws. Recommended to watch.

Broken soul entangled to each other

I was quite skeptical with Li Ruoqi drama since two of her drama with Zhang Beixi and Charon make me dissatisfied and tried this as last resort. And it was far better than two dramas that i mentioned even it was not her best drama.

Both the ML and FL are the second children who never been favored in their original families. One is after power, and the other is after love, so they hit it off and start a sweet new life after marriage. I like FL and ML buddies they are supportive circle for the leads.

FL's character is very clear-headed. Her transition from having ulterior motives to genuinely caring for the ML is very natural and not awkward at all. Li Ruoqi should take role that show vulnerable side of FL instead since it was her forte instead getting righteous FL.

Li Shengjie is good at playing good nature ML and his smiling was a healing for FL. I like his chemistry with Li Ruoqi feel so natural and sweet.

The FL sister part was not that good i was fast forwarding when she appeared.

Recommended to watch.

If youre looking for romance drama, this is not right choice.

I was tried to find Wang Nan and Zhang Jinyi earliest drama but couldn't find on last year and i tried to watch this.

This plot sounds like typical what men would love or perhaps male-oriented drama: ML was actually the greatest leader on the town but keep humbling himself in front of family to support his family since his family favors younger brother and people assign him as outcast family. He got one-night stand with FL and she got pregnant and when she give birth to their daughter she give the daughter to ML and run away.

Most of this drama 90% lot of verbal sparring between ML and his family. The acting between the leads was quite natural for that year. If you look for Wang Nan and Zhang Jinyi intimate scene, you'll disappointed since this drama rather focused on ML story even their daughter didn't got decent screen time.

I don't recommend this if you're prefer plot driven drama or liking romance drama.

Another tortuous drama to FL

I watched this when i was on Huang Yunyun marathon drama last year and i don't recommend this despite FL and Child actor great acting in here. Jin Jiayu acts naturally as scumbag.

This plot is generic is about FL who wants save the seriously injured ML, was forced to leave and raise their child alone. Seven years later, their child has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. FL seeks out ML, wanting to have a second child to save the child, but the ML harbors resentment because he mistakenly believes FL abandoned him seven years ago.

There is not good thing and character development on ML and the plot hole he supposed to be disabled but somehow he can walk freely and suddenly he is on his wheelchair again. FL was too weak and she falls into damsel in distress again.

Avoid this.
