Redemption for First Collab?

I was eager to watch second Collab from Chen Si and Han Yutong since they kind have a mysterious chemistry and their height is satisfying to watch (Both are tall). Glad, i was right to watch this even i prefer the first plot since i really like how the story progressed.

The Plot is like combination of Li Baiyan-Ma Lejie plot (enemy secretly in love with each other for 8 years) and Charon-Liu Lange plot (redemption for FL being neglected to ML and their child because FL supposed to be antagonist in novel. In the end she is fighting against writer's will). 26 years. FL wakes up in her 18 years old soul with her child claiming to be highschooler and she realize she woke in her future and getting married to her arch-enemy. Thinking her husband love her, she realized she is actually cheated on SML and neglecting her family and make ML is kind of nonchalant. FL wants to win back her husband favor with her 18-years soul.

Plot pace is quite fast. There is no angst feeling, FL way to redeem herself is quite funny. Love how their child acting is natural and not being forced to be mature.

The costume attire is ...Tinghuadao, you could do it better.

Recommend to watch for fun.

Love in Sadness from Shein

I rewatch again since the plot is almost same as K-drama love of sadness.

Ma Xiao Yu with his usual field (Psychopath person) is always superb. Liked His chemistry with Jin Zi (the best part is when FL was Jin Zi, her trauma is hit the point without being overdramatic) too bad her part not to much compare to Lan Lan. To be honest Zeng Hui character is not that memorable and his emotion barely shown compared to his other drama.

Not fond of Lan Lan acting and her chemistry with Zeng Hui is barely zero.

The ending is quite fine but not clear about Present FL and ML (Open Ending)

Liu Xiaoxu is great mentor.

I always complained about Yang Shuyu acting as wood she got great ML and have keen eyes about nice plot, but this is one of my exceptional option. The plot is quite my troupe (Marriage after love). The chemistry is passable and sweet. Yang Shuyu needs to have method actor ML like Liu Xiaoxu as her mentor. Even her expression hasn't progressed but her kisses is not the worse as one of Chen Si (i cannot finish that drama). Liu Xiaoxu is excellent as always and this kind of character suits him.

Plot is about FL who secretly love her teacher and years later she got arranged marriage with his teacher as her spouse. The parent plot are kind letdown and unrealistic in real life.

I always imagined if the FL was another actress it would be slightly better but for Yang Shuyu-class is watchable for me (maybe it only the decent Yang Shuyu film i could watch)

The Unexpected Duo who have CP

Finally this page has been add up (Thank you for whoever got their request appealed lol) since i want to make review on Cao Tian Kai- Peng Yao drama.

The Pair has collaborated twice (the first one is good even the plot is not everyone favourite) and this is their second collaborating (by time i type this there is third version of their collab will be released in 2026).

I thought the plot is like Wang Yiran-Lan lan or Chen Gang-Zuo Yi version but i was completely WRONG.

FL aka Qi Xu is doctor intern who met ML aka Lin You Qian by mistake as andrology patient while he actually want to get medical checkup. Feel embarrassed and scared of not passing the intern FL asks ML to spare him by not make complain to higher authority. ML was actually forced to marry by her mother and make FL pretend as her girlfriend while FL thinks he want to pretend by one day ML wants to marry her since her mother was getting cancer (her mother pretend to being sick while FL know the fact later and follow her mother act since she respect her MIL). The latter part is quite sad and get slice of life feeling since it revolve about FL Mom and ML mom backstory without being losing main plot about the couple. The supporting cast are doing great job for this without shadowing main characters.

Recommended to everyone who love comedy with slice of life.

And as always its not Cao Tian Kai who never shown his refined body (and i am not complaining though, he reminds me of Eric of Shinwa)

Original Weird with unnecessary plot

The story is quite original even with add Female Lead need to become evil for Male Lead while actually she cares with Male Lead and if she disobey the system, system will electrocuted her. This system is strict compared to other system plot on chinese short drama. Male Lead is quite logical and smart since he is child prodigy. It was quite long and dragged on the middle with unnecessary plot (how many other character appear just confusing). The chemistry between Xie Hong Xin and Chai Hui Xin was fine since Chai Hui Xin used to become antagonist before. Nothing memorable with supporting cast it just the leads are saving this weird drama from disaster. The ending is confusing even they are not open ending. Only recommend this drama if you want to make your brain work hard.

FL revenge was inefficient and ineffective

I watched this since i liked A Shang but this drama left me disappointed again.

The overall plot of this drama is average, a typical short drama storyline. However, there are a few key moments that really drew me in, and I even teared up a bit (mainly thanks to Chen Tianxiang's acting). The fox spirit look, especially the red dress and makeup, is so cool, and it doesn't look like cheap cosplay costume.

I think the main weakness lies with the FL (the character and the actress). For character, FL was quite not really smart for do revenge for her entire family. She do anything but think about the consequence and ML just help to fix her messy plan. For the actress, I like Ah Shang as person but her acting is definitely a weakness; she lacked a lot of feeling when acting opposite her. I must say Chen Tian Xiang and A Shang don't have any chemistry even from first drama i watch it feels imbalance and bland.

Only for hardcore fans.

Quite fresh youth drama.

I watched this since i am on journey to search Li You Lin drama. I remember i saved this drama for Zhang Jin Yi since it was campus drama and i have a mood to watch this after found mediocre dramas recently.

This drama is original script and has a clear message. The plot is normal and probably reflects things we've all encountered. The characters are people we know or friends around us. It's righteous yet wicked, completely unlike a typical short drama. Four people from four different families—one from a single-parent family, one divorced, one orphaned—each with their own difficulties and problems. Two couples experience their own stirrings and interactions, and two pairs of best friends face various trials. There is no kiss which is understandable since it is campus drama.

The story encompasses friendship, family, and budding romance. Rich in content, with a complete narrative and natural progression, it unfolds with a comfortable, gentle flow. There are no forced or contrived conflicts, making me feel like I was back in high school. Li You Lin and Zhang Jin Yi looks and acting perfectly suit their roles; they're genuinely young, not just pretending to be young.

Great Chemistry for BL Drama

I found this BL drama thanks to Tiktok advertisement and despite the MLs (Zhang Qi Hao & Pan Xin Yu) are not well-known they played the part well and not awkward for BL drama and the kisses and humping scene was good compare to most hetero couple on duanju drama.

But the plot is too common. I have irked about Doctor character despite his passionate humping. if he was in real life he should get his license revoked. Drugged your patients are big no even you are smitten at first time.

For The Racer, he is basically just naive and distressed dude. He was denial on his sexual preference and he slowly embrace it and want to tell his fiancée and his dad about his engagement annulment. I like his character development in here.

Still delightful drama despite dragged on the middle

This is Wang Haozhen- Lu Lulu second collaboration and i quite enjoy it. The Chemistry is the best one for both of actor.

The Plot is basically about FL aka Luo Jia who getting cheated by his ex aka Gu Boning with green tea. His ex being terrorized by green tea about who was FL and he said she just once time fuck buddy. Being heartbroken, She called his ex and make voice not to ask for break up and met ML aka Cheng Jin. Because of self desire, FL asks ML to become her ONS. When they have done doing sex activity, ML asks her to bathe together and FL just run away. Tomorrow, FL works as nurse met new boss which happened to be ML.

I love Wang Haozhen characterization of Cheng Jin-being cunningly calculative but if he is appear on real life it would be completely stalker behaviour. I don't understand why people hate FL for not accepting ML apology easily. I understand her being deceived twice on row by men and want to have normal relationship since she is in the age of marriage. Cheng Jin is someone who cannot accept when someone saying no to him. He tried to shoo FL pursuer by asking their main priority. In the end, FL tried to rekindled their relationship even she wanst sure about the future and i dont feel angry about that and Cheng Jin action is justified in the end because it was happened in real life too.

This is 3 of Wang Haozhen drama that i repeat beside Han Yutong one. Recommend if you like modern drama with common break-up problem.

The plot was disjointed

I watched this on Song Yujia marathon drama last year and found out she collaborated with Wang Dao Tie..It's really hard to give a review. I can't say it's good, and I can't say it's bad. The premises was quite good but this drama feel disjointed about ML backstory and FL backstory seems not to be match. Surprisingly, I found Wang Daotie to be much better in the drama. He looks younger in here.

From the ML perspective, FL is too saintly. She always tries to run away, betrays ML's love, and even causes the death of ML's sister. In fact, because of FL's series of actions, you can empathize with the ML and feel sorry for him. But ML is real villain. He's not an undercover agent; he's the head of a criminal organization leader. So, it's not wrong for FL to try everything to escape. ML runs human trafficking organization and FL happened to check on the case. It was quite unfortunate case in this drama.

They used to much darker filter in this drama and it's not looking good.

More enjoyable than the popular ones

Okay I watched few version of this and i am kind not liking most of the popular one but this one was exception. FL was not too childish and annoying like other version rather i said she just got simple mind while ML was not too stern with FL He is too reserved due the trauma. The chemistry between He Ling Yao and Liu Guo Hao are quite cute rather than being romantic. I liked the scene where the high school love rival is describing ML as a businessman while ML is kissing FL for the first time.

The progression from mute to verbalization is impressive for the ML. Along with his ability to meld into FL's personality and willingness to aid in his recovery. The ending was decent, positive knowing both individuals are accepting each other looking forward to a real relationship including intimacy. Too bad it was abrupt.

They got the mystery fantasy romance right

I watched this on the day this drama was released because of Wang Haozhen but ended up praising Zhai Yiying on this drama because she makes the character alive despite many flaws from scriptwriter and i quite like their dynamic in here. I remember most of recent Wang Haozhen those days were mediocre and this is one of my exceptions. If the scriptwriter could polished this premises more.....

This kind of genre scam is common. But the final product was a false alarm. It's rare to find a drama that isn't just a fake CEO romance. The theme is unique, the setting is special, the plot is novel, and the story development is consistently captivating, making it hard to stop watching. There's redemption, touching moments, humor, and sweet interactions between ML and FL. The casting of leads are quite fitting. The story begins with ML being a descendant of Nuwa, who is unexpectedly bound by a blood pact with the FL and controlled, which is quite interesting. However, the subsequent plot developments are all predictable. The villainous is particularly stereotypical traditional one dimensional character. The misunderstanding is not tragic, ML and FL trust each other enough. Wang Haozhen's character switches between a domineering CEO and a clingy puppy at will, which is kind of cute.

Kissing scenes are just right—not forced, and the atmosphere is perfect. The only problem is that the premise might be a bit complex, and the foreshadowing wasn't handled perfectly at the end. For example, it was mentioned at the beginning that the FL would be in danger after breaking the seal 10 times, and the ML's abilities would improve after each intimate moment, which seemed like important foreshadowing, but the writers seemed to have forgotten about it later. FL's dual personality and memory loss also felt poorly resolved.. I feel the scriptwriter still needs to minimize the plot hole to make more refined mystery fantasy romance drama

I still recommend this because its rare to found decent mystery fantasy romance drama in duanju.
