I am glad i can finish few Yuyin drama without getting angry >_< (her last year dramas is make me boiled for bad ending)
She can match with anyone but her with Shen Hao Nan is one of her best partner with Bai Fang Wen. Shen Hao Nan only matched with few actresses and Yuyin is one of that miracle. The Plot is quite new about how Female lead was going to jailed for 5 years to Self defense from her bad father and break up with male lead due this and forced of his family. It like reverse version of how male lead always try to getting female lead and its fun for me. Female lead got son without Male lead knowing and try to hide his son from him. The cat mouse play is fun and the ending is too abrupted since he finally know he got son and just like nothing happened at all. Hope there is other season and i would like both to cooperate again in next drama.

A Beautiful Mind version of Short Drama

Reborn plot is usually contain revenge but this drama shows the vulnerability of Male lead since his previous life trauma didn't get parental love (His Dad neglect him and his mother and become insane) and obsessed with Second Female lead love. The female lead comes to his second life without any background just like NPC and slowly involved in his life (only male lead didn't know his past life). I love how the drama emphasize about people deserve to being love even with mental illness they are still human. Second Female lead is only focused on getting Male lead in her second life until she forget her original purpose. The chemistry between Zuo Ming and Song Yujia is not sweet. I feel the calmness when watch Song Yujia on this drama (love her styling and make up here, she is look like goddess). Zuo Ming did good job insecure person who craved of love. The proposal scene is too sweet and the ending was beautiful. Recommend to watch.

Worth to watch

Its been long time since i watch gender disguise but the different on the plot is around ancient drama. King's concubine have stillbirth and try to replace her dead son with other baby who happened to be female and being force to become man. Sun Yue is never disappointed with his comedic banter and Jia Yixuan proved everyone she can follow and blend with Sun Yue's banter. Even i don't find they are suited to being lovers or CP but i still enjoy their natural banter. The story is quite funny and refreshing and how Female Lead just to want being freeloader but somehow 'He' become the number one next king and The Male leads are always mentioning he is not that old despite being her uncle. Recommend to everyone who wanted to watch funny colossal drama.

The Mothers are saving this drama.

It was first Lu Dang Dong drama since his hiatus and it refreshing to see him getting green flag role.
The chemistry between Huang Yunyun and Lu Dandong still lack of love for me but i still watch it forsake on their mothers ( They are the reason why this show was interesting). Both character know each other from their school era but they cannot be together since family feudal between them. When Female lead is used to get curly hair are still interesting until she get normal look the plot is kind dragged and that unnecessary sibling plot are destroying the drama. I just give the star for the mothers.

Lack of Communication

I watched another Liang Siwei drama and it was my first time watched Hwang Yunyun works. The plot is about lack of communication between the couple since both are getting fooled by Female lead step sister. Female lead is comic creator who make webtoon based of his husband and her husband reads it to know about Female lead since she wants to divorce him.
The chemistry is fine and the best part is when Female lead is being drugged and how Male lead resist the temptation his eye are acting too. Male Lead family are pain of ass except his mother. The only sane people on Female lead family is her bedridden mother who was beaten by her stepfather to prevent female lead for getting raped. Female lead was adopted by Sang Family since they are key witnesses of Female stepfather crime. Most of people will think the plot is frustrating but i feel they succeed to show how important the communication between spouse was even with sex didn't help enough if the communication is that bad. I still recommend this to Liang Siwei fans though.

OK,this is my limit.

I never understand why Ni Wu-Pei Huanyu got so many adaptation (16 version, i give up following the story) since there is unnecessary tug-and-war and misunderstanding with Open Ending. (If you like kind of sour story i just suggest to watch Dong Yi-Fu Yushu version instead). Personally i hope in Zeng Hui-Han Yutong version has angst with Open Ending (I want to have their film have Sad Ending since all of their collabs have Happy Ending) but i don't feel they follow the novel and just like their previous drama (for reference watch Tuning Hearts [2025]) Male Lead chase Female Lead with past misunderstanding. Their acting are on their comfort zone there is no complain just they kind bored of same plot formula on this CP.
Only recommended this, if you are true CP fans.

It turns out to be the same book as Nan Pan Jing Zhi??? They're completely different!

I watching this since most recent drama are generally mediocre and i want to explore more Yao Guan Yu and tried to warm myself to Hou Cheng Yue. Both leads have decent chemistry to watch.

While watching, I felt the main character's name looked familiar, but I didn't think much of it. Only after finishing the series did I realize it was from the same script as "Nan Pan Jing Zhi" (The one with Wang Kaimu- Ye Xinxin and Zhang Jinyi-Zhao Zhendong)??? I was shocked since it was completely different from previous version that i quite not really enjoy it.

ML approaches with ulterior motives but falls in love with the heiress during their time together. The plot mainly revolves around the FL's struggle for the group's inheritance and the development of new drugs. The family power struggles are fairly standard, while the drug development issues are more suspenseful. Although you gradually develop your own guesses while watching, the overall setup and plot development are quite exciting and engaging. The journey from mutual suspicion to mutual trust between the ML and FL, and their scheme to uncover the mastermind, is very entertaining, without any ridiculous moments. The SML's portrayal of the yandere younger brother is very compelling.

ML and FL relationship progresses quickly, so it's quite sweet, and there's a lot of screen time for them. Actually, I didn't like the SML that much at first, but he was a highlight in the last few episodes.

Recommended to watch.

I am FL defender on this drama.

I had watched this on the day this drama was released and found so many boy-moms scold FL character and pitied ML. But I am here as FL defender. She always stated she didn't want to pursue romance and only need physical relationship. ML knows what he is doing and should know the consequence. I need more of this kind of drama in duanju.

An excellent contemporary romance drama, ML and FL go from initial attraction to genuine affection, a truly captivating physical attraction. It's been a long time since we've seen them kiss so much on screen. I quite like the intimate scene between Jinzi and Zhong Zheng, it feels like Zhong Zheng devours her. The entire drama revolves around the main couple's relationship; the chemistry is strong, the acting is excellent, and Jinzi and Zhong Zheng surprisingly have great chemistry. This type of role is also perfect for them, making it a powerful combination. The viewing experience is quite comfortable because there's absolutely no element of female-centric suffering; it's all about the ML who suffering because of HIS OWN CHOICE. There is other men wants to pursue our FL and FL is stern as stone while ML burn with undisputed jealousy.

Jinzi has always been well-suited for roles of independent, wealthy heiresses, and this character perfectly embodies that. The female lead is independent and clear-headed throughout, clearly defining her relationship with the male lead. ML also consciously falls into despair, and after realizing he has feelings for someone else, he tries his best to win her back. However, FL is really hard to win over and i suspected she is Aro woman while in drama her psychologist saying she lacks emotional attachment which is perfectly embodied in this drama. Those who like to watch ML abuse will enjoy it.

The cons is how comes she suddenly have change of mind on the last of 2 episodes. It feels so abrupt.

I still recommended this since this kind of drama was RARE to be found on duanju.

Tian Jiu Luo embrace real Yun Qi.

Finally there is MDL page about this drama since i want to make an ode to this drama even i wont give them 9.5 but i need to write this.

Yun Qi 's unparalleled beauty needs to be portrayed like this. Tian Jiu Luo perfectly captured the Princess's alluring, desireful, ruthless, scheming, cute, and aggrieved sides, showcasing her exceptional acting skills and she is sole winner based from the characterization. Too bad she stills underrated actress in duanju.

Ming Chuan as FL ex-husband was still being likeable unlike other version. This version makes the ex-husband, the general, a bit more shy.

This version has kisses with several fish, finally showing the proper way to handle a 1vN dynamic! Did the screenwriters and directors see this? This is the correct way to handle multiple male leads! I love the scene where the Eldest Princess kisses her younger brother and then slaps him.

The cons in this drama beside abrupt ending is filters and skin smoothing are way too heavy.

I hope there is season 2 of this version since i love this Yun Qi version.

Too much unnecessary cut makes plot disjointed

I watched this drama with limited subtitle on Youtube and rewatch on Hongguo apps. I wont recommended this drama for real. I tried to find good thing about this drama since both of the leads are newcomers (i need to get lenient for them but i cannot do this) and there is no chemistry between them To make it worse, the cut the most important part about FL relationship with ML and straight up to their intimate scene with zero chemistry. ML was not really scumbag like other version and FL characterization was too limited to being discovered. They are not showing FL dad miserable part which it make the plot feels disjointed and you wont understand what you really watched.

Underrated drama

I actually don't want to watch this drama when it was released since i didn't have any mood to watch this. But the recent duanju release was so dull nowadays and i decided to watch it via tiktok (Tiktok got duanju series? it was nice). This is no romance and no BL so you can skip this. Zeng Hui and Wang Peiyan gave a great performance. The two team up to hunt ghosts and raise a child, going from enemies to risking their lives, redefining family. episodic ghost-hunting adventures, the theme is fun and engaging, heartwarming and healing, with a touch of humor. This is basically Tinghuadao gathering so most of the artist are from tinghua (i think Jiang Shiqi has already left tinghua back then since most of her recent work are not related to tinghua artist now). There is few plot hole but i can tolerate it since it was first trial and error from tinghua to get this fantasy drama. The poignant love story in the cat demon tale, the deep sisterly bond in the rabbit demon tale, and the unwavering devotion of the MLs mother are all incredibly touching, yet not overly sentimental, just the right amount to bring tears to your eyes . It's a very comfortable watch, and the little girl's performance is also very lively; the sibling bond is subtly hidden amidst the laughter and playfulness. It was unfortunate because it was quite underrated drama and it actually has potential to get season 2 but market are more important nowadays.

Not my cup of tea.

I am not trying to being pick me or anything but i don't enjoy this version like other people did. Li Ruoxun was acting fine but i feel he don't suit republican drama but his acting is better than Gang Tie Rou Rou. The chemistry between him and Lin Qiunai was average compare to previous drama. Both are better on ancient drama. For FL, i still preferred Long Xi and Chen Linmiao version. SML aka Zhou Lingfeng is excellent, perfectly capturing the madman and yandere aspects, and his presence is felt throughout the entire series. For me it was the best SML for this version and i just stay for him only.

Plot was quite more better and clean than the first version but somehow it lack the soul of the leads. Maybe you can enjoy this drama, but for me i don't really enjoy this version no matter how good SML acting were. Wont rewatch.
