I think it seems that Xu Si really wanted to prolong the time for Aneda buying Teng Yue. Before, I thought it's just sharing buying, but now it's acquisition? Writer, please be consistent. Which one is it?

Xu Si getting jealous seeing Jiang Hu with another guy is so deserving of him. That's his own fault anyway. Jiang Hu doesn't recognize him since he change his car with his assistant. That's a smart move.

Ohhhh so the word "The boy" he mentioned in the preview is the guy who's chasing Jiang Hu. How do you even know he's young or not lmao Xu Si is taking this jealousy in mature way I think. Usually the drama people involving them stomping angrily to the girl and pull them, like they're doll. Thankfully, he's just looking.

Auntie Yue visiting the grave and officially saying goodbye to Teng Yue. She said her 30 years worth it. Is it really though? Being the second or maybe even the third, or even more, women in Jiang Hu's father's life? I feel so sad for her, but at least she put an end to this misery.

Jiang Hu's expression watching video of Xu Si with the dog showed that she still loves him. And Xu Si just end up looking at his phone. I guess it's his chat with Jiang Hu? Well, this clearly showed that both of them still love each other. They just have different way of thinking in life and in their career aspiration.

So Zhaoyang fell in love with Gao Yi because she thought he's the one who saved her? Though all this time it was Yang Jian? Well, so cliche but I guess it's the one thing that make her want to change her heart I guess. OMG Yang Jian just did everything for her but silently. Yeah, that's our Yang Jian alright. And I love this song so much OMG. But for Zhaoyang to start liking him suddenly because of this feels so abrupt. I wished we got better build up to this. Until this point, she's still moping about Gao Yi and suddenly she had a change of heart? Oh well, they said love can happen suddenly so I guess this is it for Zhaoyang.

Off topic again, but this song is really good. It provides us with the picture of both the male leads, Xu Si and Yang Jian. Especially the part that said: "I want to protect you from the wind and sand storm, and become the shining light your path at night." While Xu Si kinda a jerk for making calculation in his relationship with Jiang Hu, but in the end, he truly loves her as well.

Wait, so Cloud Footwear is not only producing shoes? Again, this show is so unrealistic with Jiang Hu knowing everything about the market even before she researched them. Some people might have misconception about how the working world is done, especially if they only know about it from drama, but that's really not how you do it. There's a need to do research, you can't just ask designer to design something without knowing what your customers even wanted. That's why the process of making design to production could take up to 6 months, or even more. But again, it's the dramaland. I guess I have to forgive about this.

I don't understand. What is she doing? Entering a variety show? I might miss some of the plot because I only watch it Chinese. But whatever it is, I feel like this is just so abrupt.

Episode 37 continues to be a filler episode. I wish they just shorten it. This episode only feels like unnecessary part in the drama.

Wow, she's so idealistic. Like, this has 100 years history, it should not be built upon capitalism? Girl, seriously? Do you even know about the market? It showed she's really pampered when she grows up.

Again, now I'm really confused. Are they going to do acquisition or just buying shares? As these two are so different. Whether I have misconception or the writer really just don't understand business jargon. They just put it there to make it looks cool or something? And now I seriously believe Xu Si is doing his best to prolong the buying.

I really hate this kind of show in the drama. Like, you're confronting your colleague with supposedly confidential information out in the open, where everyone could hear. No sane businessmen will ever do this. Even just talking about the budget for production and purchasing should be done behind a close door, because it's considered as business confidential information. I get it, it's for the dramatic show. But really? Almost never I saw people talk about business in a private room where everyone couldn't hear, and not saying it with their loudest voice so everyone can hear.

Xu Shi looks good with that clothes combination btw. I feel so icky with all these people trying to push him to sell Teng Yue to Aneda. I'm not sure whether Xu Si really had some other things on his mind, or he's just really waiting for Jiang Hu to be back.

Of course, the dramatic meeting between our 2 main couples. Xu Si with Zhaoyang, and Yang Jian with Jiang Hu. Xu Si is more like a stalker following the taxi. They ended up eating at that restaurant again? Or is it a different one?

While I think it's still a jerk move from Xu Si, but from business stand point, it doesn't really mean anything. Merger and acquisition happened daily. My company did that as well, and we merged smaller companies to our much bigger ones. People have to move on. I get it why she's unhappy and angry, but the way she said "You won. You got what you wanted" doesn't feel like what a professional business woman should do. In the business world, there's always winner and loser.

The famous line: Between Teng Yue and me, who will you choose?
I think this is also the end for Xu Si. I don't think he's asking her to really choose, but she didn't even hesitate at all. This means that for her, a company's brand, which is Teng Yue, is much more important than anything else in this world for her. It's a legacy from her father, yes, but that's a legacy built upon the suffering of many others. We all know by this point that her dad is not the "God" she always refer him to be, but just another scum. But that's also the point. In business world, the weak eaten by the strong.

Conversation between Zhaoyang and Yang Jian showed that they don't really know each other. All this time, Yang Jian is afraid of being drunk in case he's hurting Zhaoyang. That's really sweet of him, but also kinda a fool. Zhaoyang taking this matter into her own hand is what I love about her. She can forgive Jiang Hu, and move on. When she decided to whom her heart actually leaning on, she's not wasting time and just do what her heart wants. By this point, I really admire her. I think Jiang Hu need to take some lesson from her.

End of episode 38, I still feel that it's just a filler. These 2 episodes, along with eps35-36, can be condensed to 1 episode and it will be better. I got bored a little bit watching the drama ever since episode 30. I feel like it's no longer as exciting. I feel that the earlier episode so good, it was moving so fast I don't even have time to ask about the stupidity of the business decisions that the people in the drama make. But because of the slow pace of the drama now, I finally have the time to sit down and think about all the poor decisions they make.

I wonder how Jiang Hu and Xu Si can go back together. By this point, I don't think they should though. If they get together fast at the end I would go mad. I mean, we wasted all the time with the entertainment show that doesn't even matter. 2 episodes to the end, and I wish they just sell it so I can watch it and finally be free from it.

Anyway, can't wait for the finale tomorrow!

Teng Yue is still private corporation? I remember that only listed company can do things like buying shares. I might have forgotten about the laws since I'm not in that position. I might need to ask someone who knows better in this area than me.

I want to see him get what he deserved, and looking at episode 35-36, I think he already know the consequences of his actions. Every person has a second chance to repent, that's what I believe.

I agree with you on this. People see him as the real true villain now, but our female lead Jiang Hu also not without flaws. Even though she had redeemed herself in a way, but she also did something wrong in the past. To learn to be better and to get forgiveness might be the step to the new world.

Familiar doesn't mean understand the specification. Believe, I've worked in 4 import export company, in the same exact position, and yet it's different every time. There's no identical product, service, or even management system. I complained on that because I've worked for almost 20 years in a corporation, moving from 1 company to the other. I maintain the same position, and there's no one company that has the same system or the same exact product. Even if I know what that company is selling, and have the knowledge of the industry, when you started a new job, it will still be different.

It's like the report I make for myself when I watch the episode. So it should be minute by minute. I think he was so desperate in what he's doing. Yes, he's doing everything for Teng Yue now, and I think that's really amazing. He did more for Teng Yue than anybody else in that factory. All they do is see him as enemy. If you stop working there, what are you going to do? Become homeless?

The product of Cloud Footwear is not exactly the same as Teng Yue. They have different materials, different specifications, and so on. I've worked in 4 companies in the same position, and yet it will always take me around 1-2 months to adjust to the new company. Why? Because even though position is the same, even in the same industry, there's always something new that you need to learn. Whether it's the procedure, the system, the product, and so on. For me, Jiang Hu able to just do everything in such an easy manner is laughable. If the writer ever worked in a company before, I'm sure they know it's not realistic. I mean, anyone who ever worked in a company should have known that's not realistic. There's no adjusting in 1 day. It will take time, because you need to learn first about your job. Even the same position has differences, and no matter small it is, it will disrupt your capability to do your work.

I'm not saying she is not able to do it. But she shouldn't be able to do it in an instant. Let's say it fast forwarded to 3 months, then I will agree with it. But that's not the case. She is such a genius that she can do everything in days. That's super abnormal.
