According to the works TBA on his info, he will be getting into different type of roles. He will be doing one…
Finally! He's been playing the same role for 2 years? I mean, it's time for him to branch out. His management finally gave him something different. That's great and I can't wait for it!

Yes the angst is only with Tang Xin's parents. I think it's the most realistic parents to me in any novel I've read before. They acknowledge problems, and wanted to fix it. Tang Yu also willing to bear the hardship since he's at wrong as well in the past. But it's not too bad.

Title I May Love You Spoiler
Can you spoil the two couples? Any break up for lead couple? Or tension? What's about ML' best friend?
In the novel, the only couples are Tang Yu and Tang Xin, then Lu Zhixing and Tang Dingding.
They have no breakup but their road to be together is quite long. Tang Yu proving himself to be the man of the year, pursuing her without giving up.
Tension is with Tang Xin's parents. They know that Tang Yu is the one who broke their little girl's heart before, and also actively pursuing Ming Zhu. It was a sore thumb for them. But it got handled well.

Male lead's best friend is Huo Chendong? In the novel, he didn't have any pairing. I'm not sure about the drama. In the novel, Huo Chendong actually likes Dingding, but he's a playboy who loves many women at the same time. Tang Yu didn't want Tang Dingding to be together with such irresponsible person, so he warned Huo Chendong not to get close to his sister. When he finally get his act together and not playing around anymore, it's too late. By then, Tang Dingding already in a relationship with Lu Zhixing. So he ended up alone. The most pitiful.

There's a hint of Assistant Gao being popular among the girls, but he's just too straight to understand their advances.

in novel did Director Lu and Ding Ding end up together as a couple and did our leads have happy ending.
Yes, in the novel Lu Zhixing and Tang Dingding ended up as a couple.
Our leads only have the rocky beginning, then it's full of fluff and sweetness. The biggest obstacle to their relationship is Tang Xin's parents, where some drama might happen. But other than that, it was okay.

Title Only for Love Spoiler
I saw a rant by AvenueX from her youtube channel.. she is so sucks.. I know she can freely speak out her opinion…
Link for the novel: https://wondernovels.com/novels/accidental-love/

I just think that the novel explained it better. Especially on Shi Yan's part. The reason why he said that he wanted Shu Yi, even if she's only trying to get his money or flaunting his looks (to others), he is willing to do it for her. There's explanation in the novel about this that was never made into the drama (but I suspect they have to cut it due to many reasons).

I’m pretty sure they will end up together if you looked at the trailer for ending song. There’s a scene where…
Ohhhh I don't follow the Tencent index. Glad that it's doing well. It started to be good after the confession. Before that, it feels like the usual tropey modern C-drama.

Yeah, the drama is almost the same as the novel. They even did the scene with Lu Zhixing tapping Tang Dingding's shoulder. That scene was my fave one, along with another one near the end of the novel, which I hoped they put in the drama as well.

Yeah that's what I like about the novel. And the drama live up to that vibe as well. You just move on since you need to work and earn money. No adult women will weep all day.

Well, there might be a little bit angst with Tang Xin's parents.

This is why I feel like the drama failed to explain this plot. There's also a reason why Shi Yan lets Shu Yi go crazy like that. But again, in the drama it's also glossed over. Or they had to cut it in order to put other scenes that don't matter.

Revenge had always been Shu Yi's motive in the novel. She needed that revenge since she's with her boyfriend for quite some time. That's why the revenge felt more justified, though it's kinda stupid. And Shi Yan had his own reason why he indulged Shu Yi, and why he forgave her after all the lies she told. Too bad, the drama didn't explain it.

No problem! Glad I could help!
I think the drama need to explore more from Tang Yu's perspective, because he actually showed that he loves Tang Xin a lot in the novel.

Lol I've loved him since King's Avatar. He's my fave baby there, and he's still my fave baby here. I started this drama when I saw the cast list in weibo, and his name is there.

The novel is quite fluffy I think. The saddest part is during the first rejection, when Tang Yu rejected Tang Xin, saying they're not suitable. After that, it's not really that sad. It's all fluffy.

This drama follows the novel almost 90%. It's really quite similar. And the extra told the story of Tang Dinging and Lu Zhixing's relationship. Lu Zhixing pursued her and gave her the jade pin, the symbol of love from male lead to female lead in the movie he made before.

NO !
No. Gao Heng didn't have any clear "couple" in the novel. The extra about Tang Dingding showed that she becomes the couple with Lu Zhixing

EP10 is like the start of something new. I'm happy that Tang Yu is honest to Tang Xin now. He explained to her the reason why he pursued Ming Zhu before. Like what he said: "Being suitable not the same as being in love." And I totally agree on that.

The moment that I've been waiting for! The first meeting of Lu Zhixing and Tang Dingding! This is also my fave moment in the novel, and I think they live it up in the drama.

Tang Yu taking the advice from the forever straight man Assistant Gao lmao
He drank so much so he can get taken care of by Tang Xin. That's hilarious.

Most of the female lead traits in any drama, not only in C-drama, actually the same as Shu Yi. I don't know why she gets this much hate though. I watched too much drama in my life, and I'm sure there are worst female lead than her. People can be too critical sometimes, and forgot that almost every drama they watched will have this kind of female lead traits.

Sadly, the drama didn't really give an explanation about why Shu Yi behaves like that. For example, the reason of her revenge towards her ex. It was glossed over.

Yeah the camera angle is definitely the worst part of the entire drama. Like, the colour palette of the drama is okay. The props look okay. But the camera angle make me want to close my eyes and not bother to open it again. There are times I just close my eyes and choose to listen to what they're saying, because the camera angle make me dizzy and uncomfortable.

It's like he likes her all along, but don't really notice it. To him, unsuitable is because he had somewhat pursued…
No, our FL, Tang Xin was never the second choice. Being in his position and his age, his family wanted him to get married soon. And when considering different traits and characters, he and his friend, Huo Chendong, feels that Tang Xin's best friend, Ming Zhu, is the perfect fit. So he pursuing her not because he loves Ming Zhu, but he considers about whether she's a perfect fit to be his future wife.

He did say it to Tang Xin later on. "Being suitable and being in love are two different things." While he only looks at the outer appearance of Ming Zhu, he did love Tang Xin.

But it's complicated since he did ask Tang Xin to be his wingman to win Ming Zhu's favor before. And that's makes it the most complicated, and that's why he also considers her to be "unsuitable." Not because of her background, but she's definitely not the type of wife that a wealthy family with billions of assets will go for.

I am at episode 34 and will finish the remaining 2 episodes by today. I just want to drop my opinion here, though…
The best thing is to never read the comments. I'm someone who don't believe in ratings or comments until I watched it myself. For example, people praising Xiao Zhan's drama The Longest Promise, but to me it's not good, and I got so many unnecessary hate when I tried to raise my own opinion on the drama.

Experiencing the drama yourself is the best way to enjoy it. If you enjoy it, you enjoy it.

The camera angle is really bad though. There are parts that make you go dizzy because they just take unnecessary turn or spin, or the problematic camera angle that didn't flatter the actors/actresses at all.

The chemistry is okay to me. There are people who can't see it, there are people who can. I mean, it's the same in almost all drama.

The negative issue because it's from 2 popular traffic actors, and they have their own army of fans. Of course, there will be black fans who wanted to bring them down. Plus, if you go to douban, it's no longer a very credible review site anymore. This drama in weibo actually gain quite a lot of heat, and is quite popular. Not that popular, but it's enough. Besides, it's a contemporary drama. Always get the heat for no reason.

About Wang Hedi's voice, if you speak Chinese, his line delivery is really not good. Like he's too lazy to speak. That's why he's usually being dubbed. But this time, he didn't. He really needs to get a lesson in this area, or he should consider to hire a professional dubber to dub all his drama. Many of the young actors have the same problem, not only him. Those who have better line delivery, like Wu Lei, is quite rare, but he graduated from prestigious film/movie university, so it's not valid to compare to him.

What she said definitely overly harsh. There are many other dramas that are awful. But Only For Love is not the worst of the worst. I still do enjoy and love it at some point.
