This is so depressing. I want the comedy back. I miss the Sheng brothers' humor and the playboy style. Anyone has an urge to curse to release your anger? Not sure how long I can hold it in seeing CP.

I concur what you said. This is one of the worst company I've worked for so I have no regrets of leaving it. Like Rou, I was gullible thinking people are nice & trust worthy and the situation will change for the better. Everyone in the company is self-centered and always thinking what is best for me even pushing people under the bus and backstabbing to reach their goals to climb the corporate ladder.

I already have plans in place. I need to make sure the next opportunity is the right fit.

The more I watch this drama, the more I feel it's very similar to my company's politics. The scheming and the plotting are being masterminded beneath the surface with fake, pretentious, disingenuous front exterior. There are many prince Zhou at my work and one of them happens to be my boss. Prince Han is the nicest and unfortunately prince Han doesn't exist in my company but there are some Crown Prince. The life in the palace is so much similar to the life at work. The positive thing is that no women are raped, just sexually assaulted verbally....LOL.

Lots of people want to get revenge and die eventually. I just assume that only ChuMu, Rou, ChuLing, and the princess live to the end...LOL. I see these 4 people live to make it to the wedding day at the end.

On the bright side, Chumu will become more mature due to 3rd prince's actions in order to keep Rou on his side. At the moment, his explosive, immature, and child-like behavior won't do him any good to fight against the people in the palace who has more power than he does. He needs more character development, not only to protect his love from 3rd prince but to ward off sexual predators like King Liang.

What!?!? Really??? Rou is a prize possession that many men wanted to have. Will there be more men chasing for her later in the episodes?...lmao. I've never seen a drama where so many guys like one girl.

I agree. The relationship in this drama is all over the place. I'm having a headache of tracking all these different relationships.

So Fu Shui is a different character than Chen Ji but they look so alike. Are they siblings then? Chen Ji is a nice guy so should I assume Fu Shui is a evil guy since he will cause havoc in the palace?

Fu Shui popped up out of nowhere. Is he the same character as Chen Ji or is he another character play by the same guy? I'm confused.

Indeed...their plan was brilliant...lol. ChuMu's faking to be drunk and intentionally lost to the taoist to carry his plans. I'm loving this drama more and more as each episode progresses.

About 20 people died? That's like almost half of the staffs. Sounds very tragic.

In ep 24, Rou said she'll do anything to keep ChuMu alive and safe. She wants to kill Prince Liang and commits suicide after she was almost raped but she didn't because of her love for ChuMu. So I think you may be right. She probably sides with 3rd prince to utilize his power to protect ChuMu.

I agree with you. I hate the imperial preferential and unfair treatments in the palace.
